Outside

Answer the phone and listen to the entry code you are given. After the message ends, you have 10 minutes to enter the house. Turn right and exit the phone booth, then walk forward and cross the street at the zebra crossing. Continue along the street until you reach some large gates on the right, then turn right and examine the padlock. Click each of the three tumblers 5 times so they are all musical symbols, and the padlock and gate will open.

Make your way up to the front doors and examine the keypad to the left of them. Enter the code from the telephone message: 1923. Open both sets of doors and head inside. Now you have 12 hours to complete the rest of the game.

Floor 1

Room 01: Reception

Go around and look at the red file on the inner aspect of the desk, which contains several safe descriptions as well as maps of the house. Go to the blue safe at the west side of the room. Each time you turn the main handle, the lights will indicate how many numbers are correct. Enter the combination 314, then turn the handle to open the safe. Pick up the piece of code key and the 7 coins from inside the safe, then back out.

Turn around and approach the green safe at the east side of the room. After clicking on the picture, the tiles will shuffle and you need to click to reset the picture. Once you are done, open the safe by pulling the handle on the left. Pick up the photo with code and keys for rooms 06 and 27 from inside the safe, then back out.

Head through the door just to the left of the green safe.

Room 02: Small Showroom

Look through the 1996 safe catalogue on the table to the north side of the room, then examine the gray safe to the southwest. By trial and error, flip the 8 switches in this order:

All lights should have turned green, so turn the handle to open the safe. Pick up the note from switch safe and a silver key from inside the safe, then back out.

Approach the yellow safe in the southeast corner of the room. Here you need to enter the values corresponding to the missing numbers in Pascal's Triangle:

Slide the bolt to open the safe. Open the smaller cabinet doors and take the scroll for the T-1001, then back out.

Turn around and approach the green safe in the northeast corner of the room. Each time you turn the main handle, the lights will indicate how many numbers are correct. Enter the combination 3231, then turn the handle to open the safe. Pick up the crank from inside the safe, then back out. Open the door just to the right and go through.

Room 03: Designer's Room

Continue to the northeast corner of the room and go through the door to the right of the neon cocktail sign.

Room 04: Coffee Room

Head over towards the windows, then turn around and look down at the maritime book on the coffee table. Flip through this to see the semaphore alphabet and signal flag alphabet. Leave through the northern door.

Room 05: Constructor's Office

There is a safe on the western wall. Look at the blueprint to the right of the safe, paying attention to the switch safe plans. Turn left and go through the door to the southwest.

Room 27: Technical Design

Examine the switch safe on the north of this room. Solve it by flipping the switches according to the blueprint you saw in room 05:

Turn the handle to open the safe. Pick up the code to the final safe and another scroll for the T-1001. Back out from here, then open the middle door on the west wall. Approach the shelves inside and look at the blue strongbox on the bottom shelf. Open this with your key for room 27. Pick up the 6 coins, note from strongbox and a key for room 09. Leave the storeroom and go through the door to the western end of the north wall.

Room 06: Chief Engineer

Examine the filing cabinets on the eastern wall. Open the locked one with your key for room 06. Take out the file and you will get a note about a clock motor. Go over to the small table in the southwest corner of the room, and look at the clipboard for a formula to convert between temperature scales. Leave through the western door.

Room 07: Big Showroom

Turn left and close the door you just came through, then continue through the southern door ahead.

Room 21: Kitchen

Examine the refrigerator safe straight ahead. Use the individual drain and fill buttons to set the temperatures to equal values as follows:

• 10 degrees C
• 50 degrees F
• 283 degrees K

Now use the black dial to adjust the central gauge to 49 degrees F (the others will adjust accordingly). Open the safe using the large handle at the top. Pick up the block key and another scroll for the T-1001, then back out. Turn around and turn the handle on the coffee grinder on the small shelf - this opens a secret passage that you might find handy later on. Head back through the western door.

Room 07: Big Showroom

Examine the silver safe to the right of the fireplace, along the southern wall of the room. Open this with your block key. Pick up the a key for room 07 from inside the safe, then back out. Turn around and examine the flower safe in the northwest corner of the room. Press the center of each flower 5 times, then open the door by using the leaf symbol at the bottom left. Pick up the Egyptian cipher and another scroll for the T-1001, then back out again. Leave through the western door.

Room 09: Security Guard

Go around behind the desk and open the green key box on the wall with your key for room 09. Take out the note from key box, as well as keys for room 07, 13 and 52. Back out from here, then go around the desk and along the small corridor to the southeast. Around the corner, open the filing cabinet and take the file to find a note from archive. Back out, then go through the door to the left.

Room 11: Customer Support

Walk between the two desks. Examine the in-tray on the western desk and pull it open so you can pick up a dictaphone. Go over to the red safe to the southwest and examine it. Press the speak button on the safe. Use the dictaphone and press the play button. Now pull the large silver handle on the right of the safe to open it. Pick up the code to the final safe, note from voice safe and key for room 13, then back out again. Go through the door just to the left of the safe.

Room 12: Sales & Export

Examine the safe on the right. Each time you turn the main handle, the lights will indicate how many numbers are correct. Enter the combination 1652, then turn the handle to open the safe. Pick up the code to the final safe from inside the safe, then back out. Continue through the east door.

Room 13: Administration

Keep going through the door to the north.

Room 14: Sick Room

Walk forward to the low table and read through the red book here for several clues. Back out and turn right, then enter the treatment room and head through the door on the left.

Room 08: Cloak Room

Read the notes on the board to the right, then continue forward through another door.

Room 09: Security Guard

Go through the door on the right.

Room 07: Big Showroom

Examine the green safe towards the southeast corner of the room. Translate the Braille to read the following, and follow the instructions to open the safe:

• 1 Right: Turn the red dial clockwise until you reach 1
• 5 Left: Turn the red dial anticlockwise until you reach 5
• 4 Right: Turn the red dial clockwise until you reach 4
• 2 Left: Turn the red dial anticlockwise until you reach 2

Now turn the large dial to open the safe. Pick up the key for room 13 and the code to the final safe, then back out. Go through the eastern door.

Room 06: Chief Engineer

Keep going straight ahead and through the opposite door.

Room 05: Constructor's Office

Examine the safe with the Statue of Liberty on it, which is along the western wall. Press the buttons to spell "La Fayette", then turn the dial to open the safe. Pick up the diapictures disc and key for room 07 from inside the safe, then back out. Go back through the door to the right.

Room 06: Chief Engineer

Examine the green safe to the south and insert your diapictures disc. You now need to get a series of matching pictures between the left and right halves of the machine. Follow these steps:

• Press the left arrow button 4 times
• Press the right arrow button 5 times
• Press the middle button 4 times

Now press the green Open button to open the safe. Pick up the piece of code key, then back out. Head through the door to the west.

Room 07: Big Showroom

Turn right to the red safe. Insert all three of your keys for room 07 here, then turn them, then turn the large dial to open the safe. Pick up the blueprint from key safe and the piece of code key, then back out again. Continue west through the next door.

Room 09: Security Guard

Turn left and close the door you came through, then continue through the door to the south.

Room 08: Cloak Room

Go straight ahead through the next door.

Room 09: Sick Room

Examine the medicine cabinet on the wall next to the bed. Use your pieces of code key to see the entire 4-digit code. Back out, then go around this room to exit through the door to the south.

Room 13: Administration

Turn right to the red safe. Insert all three of your keys for room 13 here, then turn them, then turn the large dial to open the safe. Pick up the codes to the the final safe, then back out again. Now head through the door to the east.

Room 01: Reception

Open the double doors to the north and go through.

Room 18: Stairwell

Go up the stairs to the landing and look at the coat of arms on the wall - it will open, revealing a safe. Read the small note on the left. Based on this riddle, enter the code 124, then turn the handle to open the safe. Pick up the scroll for the T-1001 and the key for room 24, then back out. Go back down the stairs, then turn left and go through the short corridor and door to the east.

Room 27: Technical Design

Turn left when you enter, and go through the door marked WC in the northwest corner of the room.

Room 24: WC

Turn right and examine the hair dryer on the wall. Quickly insert the key for room 24 before the hair dryer shuts off, then take the scroll for the T-1001. Back out, then leave the WC again.

Room 27: Technical Design

Go back through the door in the southwest corner of the room.

Room 18: Stairwell

Step forward out of the small corridor, then turn right to find the elevator. Use the access panel on the right and enter the code 1812. Enter the elevator and press the 2 button on the right. Exit the elevator after the ride finishes.

Floor 2

Room 18: Cannon Annex

Make your way through the door to the west.

Room 32: Dept Chief Marketing

Examine the joker safe on the north wall. Insert one of your 3d coins. Now press the apple symbol followed by the corn symbol, and keep alternating until the safe opens. Open the inner compartment and take the code to the final safe, then back out again. Leave through the western door.

Room 31: Dept Chief Export

Go over to the safe in the southwest corner of the room. You need to recreate the proper image by rotating the different rings of the image:

• Click the outer ring 5 times
• Click the middle ring 6 times
• Click the inner ring 4 times

Now use the silver lever on the left, followed by the brass handle at the top left. Pick up the scroll for the T-1001, then back out. Return through the door to the east.

Room 32: Dept Chief Marketing

Continue across the room through the eastern door.

Room 18: Cannon Annex

Go through the southeastern door.

Room 34: Purchasing Dept

Examine the clock in the southeast corner of the room. Based on the note from key box you obtained earlier, click on these positions on the clock face: III, VII, I. Pick up the Egyptian cipher and the code to the final safe, then back out. Continue through the next door to the east.

Room 36: Company Psychologist

Examine the radio in the southeast corner of the room. Based on the note from voice safe you obtained earlier, follow these steps:

• Press the L button
• Use the tune knob to move the red line to the middle of RADIO 1
• Press the S button
• Use the tune knob to move the red line to the middle of RADIO 4
• Press the M button
• Use the tune knob to move the red line to the middle of STAR
• Press the S button
• Use the tune knob to move the red line to the middle of RAD LUX
• Press the O button

Pick up the scroll for the T-1001 and the code to the final safe, then back out. Leave through the door to the north.

Room 44: Conference Room

Look at the flags over the ship to the east, and translate them using the flag cipher from earlier: "Right two, left four, right 2, return to 5". Examine the ship and follow these steps:

• Right 2: Turn the dial clockwise until you reach 2
• Left 4: Turn the dial anticlockwise until you reach 4
• Right 2: Turn the dial clockwise until you reach 2
• Return to 5: Turn the dial anticlockwise until you reach 5

Pick up the scroll for the T-1001, then back out. Head through the door in the northeast of the room.

Room 46: Music Chamber

Go to the tape machine at the northern end of the room and turn the switch to FOR to listen to the tune. Now approach the piano and play the same tune. You need to play it at the same pitch, so play it in the range just left of the middle of the piano:

Play the notes in this order: G, G, D, D, E, E, D, C, C, B, B, A, A, G. Pick up the code to the final safe and the Egyptian cipher. Leave through the door to the right of the piano.

Room 48: Secretary's Office

Continue around to the opposite door and head through.

Room 49: Egyptian Room

Examine the northeast face of the pyramid, and use Egyptian cipher #3 to activate the safe. Now you need to rotate the segments of the pyramid to show symbols matching the cipher tablet. From the starting position, click on each layer of the pyramid the following number of times:

Pick up the photo with code and another code to the final safe, then back out. Leave this room through the western door.

Room 52: Crabb's Office

Turn left and go through to a small side room, then continue through the next door.

Room 37: Library

Go to the northwest corner of the room and pull the cord here.

Cellar

Room 55: Cellar

Walk southeast, just past a white table and chairs, and turn left to see a button on the wall. Press this to open a secret passage, then go through.

Room 59: Secret Room

Examine the top-right blue scroll and click on the small note to get another scroll for the T-1001. Look down to the right and open the chest, then use the blue light and look at the information inside the chest. Leave this room again.

Room 55: Cellar

Return over to the white table and chairs, then turn left and go forward along the barrels. Turn left again and go along a corridor, then turn left and go up some stairs. This will take you back through the secret passage you opened earlier in the kitchen.

Floor 1

Room 21: Kitchen

Go through the door out of the kitchen.

Room 07: Big Showroom

Continue through the door on the right.

Room 06: Chief Engineer

Go through the southern door.

Room 27: Technical Design

Go across the room and through the southern door.

Room 03: Designer's Room

Examine the jukebox in the corner of the room and insert a 50p coin. Now press the following pairs of buttons, which are an anagram of an artist and one of their songs:

Pick up the code to the final safe. Go north through the door to the left of the neon cocktail sign.

Room 27: Technical Design

Continue north through the door in the northwest of the room.

Room 06: Chief Engineer

Head through the door to the east.

Room 07: Big Showroom

Turn left and close the door you just came through, then continue through the southern door ahead.

Room 21: Kitchen

Turn around and use the coffee grinder on the shelf, then turn left and go through the secret passage and down the stairs.

Cellar

Room 55: Cellar

Turn right and head to the large barrels, then turn right and go to the white table and chairs. Turn right again and go along a winding corridor to the east. Once you are through the curve, turn left and go through a door ahead.

Room 58: Weighing Room

Read the brown book on the shelves to the right, which explains the machine in this room. Now examine the machine itself. The solution to this is random with each game. Follow these instructions:

Pick up the heavy key. Turn around and exit the room again.

Room 55: Cellar

Turn right and go through the winding corridor, then go just past the white table and chairs. Examine the middle whisky barrel, and click on the spigot to reveal a lock. Use your heavy key to open the safe. Pick up the note from barrel, photo with code, 7 more coins and a bottle of whisky, then back out.

Turn left and go to the end of the room, then turn left and go forward once, turning left again to find a safe. Click on the figure on the safe until it lights up, then turn the handle to open the safe. Now you need to play 5-card draw poker. Press the button on the left to show the dealer's hand. Now press Deal, choose which cards to hold, and press Deal again. If you win, take the codes to the final safe; if you lose, play again.

Head back around to the white table and chairs, then turn right and go along the winding corridor. Continue south along the next corridor almost all the way to the end, then turn right. Examine the large machine here. Use your crank, then turn it to activate the machine. Back out and go back to the north slightly, then turn left and crawl through a secret passage in the fireplace.

Room 57: Fireplace

Head forward and climb the spiral staircase. At the top, push out through a painting.

Floor 2

Room 48: Secretary's Office

Go north to the main part of the room, then through the door to the west.

Room 49: Egyptian Room

Continue straight across through the opposite door.

Room 52: Crabb's Office

Turn left and go through to a small side room, then continue through the next door.

Room 37: Library

Go to the northwest corner, stopping just before the cord you pulled earlier. Look at the books to the right and press them to reveal a secret passage. Go through the door.

Room 52: Crabb's Office

Approach the large safe in the northwest corner of the room. Press the green button, then enter the numbers from the 12 codes to the final safe that you have collected:

Enter the safe and pick up the chess piece. Exit the safe again and examine the chess board. Use the chess piece, then click on the white square immediately to the right of the black king. Climb down the spiral staircase.

Floor 1

Room 10: Secret Room

Turn left and look at the safe on the wall. Based on the 3 photos with codes that you have collected, click to set the letters across the top to OPEN. Take the dispenser key. Back out and turn around to focus on the cross-shaped keyhole, then insert the dispenser key.

Go through the opened gate and approach the T-1001 safe. Based on the 10 scrolls that you have collected, enter the letters JPJIEPLHNP. Open the inner doors to see a projector, then pick up the video cassette and the job contract. Back out from the safe. Return through the gate and open the door, then climb back up the spiral staircase.

Floor 2

Room 52: Crabb's Office

Go through either wooden door.

Room 37: Library

Go through the door in the northeast corner.

Room 52: Crabb's Office

Go into the left part of the room and examine the television. Use your video cassette.
