Day 1
The Lobby
Approach the desk and talk to Mr Crow, then pick up the 5 shrimp cocktails. Back out and turn right twice, then give a shrimp cocktail to the 3 guests here. Turn right once more and give the remaining shrimp cocktails to the 2 final guests. Talk to any of the guests now until they say they are going upstairs.
After night falls, approach the desk and answer the phone. Back out and turn right, then examine Mr Owl's portrait and take the mushrooms Mushrooms. Back out, then use the elevator to get up to level 1. Exit and go through the door on the left into Room 1.
Room 1: Mr Deer
Talk to Mr Deer, then pick up the vodka from behind his couch. Examine the lamp on the left and take the key. Next examine Mr Deer's research plan on the wall - you need to remember what the red stamp on the corner looks like (you will find one of these in each room, and they will be important later). Now look at the deer skull on the wall. Click on the right antler, then click on the second branch of this antler repeatedly until you see a leaf on the left antler. Click this to get it to grow, then take the rosemary Rosemary. Back out and turn right.
Examine the glass cabinet and unlock it with the key, then open it. Back out and look at the set of scales next. Play with the weights to work out that the plus symbol is 1, the triangle symbol is 3 and the spiral symbol is 5. Back out and turn right twice.
Look at the safe and enter combination 3531 (based on the weights you just calculated). Pull open the drawer and take the knife. Back out and open the right window and curtains. Come and go until there is a butterfly sitting on the window ledge, then attack the butterfly with the knife Albert's Way.
Back out again and turn left. Take the empty bucket from the table on the left, the glass from the bottom of the grinder on the wall, and some matches from the bottom drawer. Turn to the right. Open the left window and curtains to reveal a rope. Tie your bucket to the rope, lower it, raise it, and then take a bucket filled with water. Back out and turn right again.
Pour your vodka into the glass on the right table. Cut Mr Deer's antler, then collect the blood in your empty canteen. Pour this into the glass on the right table. Examine the deer skull on the wall and pull the right antler, then quickly use your empty canteen on the nose to collect some Tabasco. Pour this into the glass as well. Look at the menu to the right to see that you now need to collect a "special ingredient" to complete the drink. Turn to the right.
Examine the unlocked cabinet, then pour water from your bucket into the containers. Now follow these steps to get a volume of 8 dL in the left flask:
- starting position (5, 0, 6)
- pour from right to left (10, 0, 1)
- pour from right to middle (10, 1, 0)
- pour from left to right (4, 1, 6)
- pour from right to middle (4, 5, 2)
- pour from middle to left (9, 0, 2)
- pour from right to middle (9, 2, 0)
- pour from left to right (3, 2, 6)
- pour from right to middle (3, 5, 3)
- pour from middle to left (8, 0, 3)
Now pick up the left flask of water. Examine the apparatus on the left and pour your 8 dL of water into the bottom flask. Look at the framed picture on the wall above the chemistry equipment and memorize the order. Back out and turn left twice.
Catch the butterfly with your empty glass jar (if the butterfly leaves, come back and try again until you catch it). Back out and turn left again. Mount the butterfly in the framed display on the left, then click on the insects according to the order you just saw (top, left, right, right, top, top). Take the seed from within the butterfly. Turn left twice. Lift the glass lid on the left and put your seed and water into the pot. Close the lid again. Use your matches to light the lamp, then click on the seed and the plant twice to get some poisonous seeds. Turn left twice again. Put the glass jar at the bottom of the grinder, insert the poisonous seeds in the top and turn the handle, then take the poisonous powder.
Turn to the left and examine the apparatus on the left. Put your poisonous powder in the middle container. Light the candle with your matches, then take the green poison. Turn left, then put your poison into the drink and pick it up. Give this to Mr Deer, then get him to drink it. Back out and examine him twice, then you will end up with some deer meat Deer Meat.
Day 2
The Lobby
Turn left and go to the desk, then examine the key rack and take key 1. Turn right and approach the safe, inserting key 1 into slot 4 (which matches the stamp you saw earlier). Now turn left and enter the kitchen. Talk to Mr Toad and give him the ingredients for "Deer steak with mushrooms and rosemary".
After night falls, talk to Mr Crow, then click on him to get a carrot Carrot. Use the elevator to get up to level 2. Exit and go through the door on the left into Room 4.
Room 4: Mr Rabbit
Examine the lamp in the bedroom and take the ace of clubs. Next open the bottom drawer and take the knife from inside. Turn to the right and talk to Mr Rabbit, taking the 5 of clubs from him. Examine the top picture frame and take the 2 of hearts, then also take the hat from the top of the padlocked cabinet. Look at the table on the left and pick up the triangle stone. Turn to the right again.
Examine the portrait of Mr Owl and cut it with your knife, then take the white beans White Beans. Now examine the box on the table. Flip the switch and stab the hand with your knife so that you can take the ring. Back out and turn left. Examine the table on the left. Put the ring in the box, then click on the box and take the key that appears. Next look at the table on the right. Play the shell game until you can take an eye from beneath the winning cup. Talk to Mr Rabbit, then give him the hat. Click on the hat, then rearrange the flowers so they are purple, red, white and yellow from left to right. Click on the hat several times until you can take the key from Mr Rabbit's mouth. Turn right twice. Mr Rabbit's soul will float past the window after a few seconds Watch Closely!. If it doesn't, turn away and then look back at the window again.
Examine the frame on the left and take the 4 of diamonds. Turn left and look at the rectangular frame. You need to arrange your playing cards so each one is over one symbol in the frame. The top row should be 2 of hearts, 4 of diamonds, 5 of clubs. The bottom row should be ace of clubs, 8 of diamonds, king of spades (these can be worked out by looking at the symbols on the other pictures throughout the room). Now move the 5 of clubs aside and take another key from behind it.
Turn left and examine the locked cabinet. Use your 3 keys to unlock the 3 padlocks. Pull apart the chains and open the door. Place your triangle stone in the inner aspect of the door, then close the door and open it again. Place the eye in the skull, then close the door and open it twice. Take the 3 swords. Turn right twice and examine the top picture to see the stamp for this room. Now look at the picture of the 3 swords on the wall. Follow these instructions to pierce Mr Rabbit with your swords (1st slot from the right, 4th slot from the left, 5th slot from the right). Click on Mr Rabbit twice to get a rabbit leg Rabbit Leg.
Day 3
The Lobby
Turn left and go to the desk, then examine the key rack and take key 4. Turn right and approach the safe, inserting key 4 into slot 3. Now turn left and enter the kitchen. Talk to Mr Toad and give him the ingredients for "Rabbit stew with carrots and white beans".
After night falls, turn right and click on Mr Bat. Turn right and a meteor will fall outside. Now turn around in the lobby and click on Mr Bat twice whenever you see him. Eventually the lights will turn back on and you can return to the elevator. Click on Mr Bat again, then take the potatoes Potatoes. Use the elevator to get up to level 2. Exit and go through the door on the right into Room 5.
Room 5: Mrs Pigeon
Talk to Mrs Pigeon, who wants some corn. Turn to the left and examine the frame on the right, then take the piece of paper from behind it - note the stamp on the picture in the frame. Next look at the radio and take the piece of paper from behind it as well. Now examine the table on the left. Place discs in the holes to move the stag beetle around - let it escape 3 times Can't catch me!. Now this time trap the stag beetle, then pick it up.
Examine the machine on the wall and take the gold key from behind it. Take out the paper disc and insert your 2 pieces of paper to complete the pattern. Return the disc and pull the lever. Look at the 2 pictures on the wall and work out the values of the symbols.
Turn left and examine the large machine, entering the code 8613. Back out, then open the doors on the machine to see a trapped bird. Back out and turn left. Put the stag beetle in the generator. Examine the picture on the left and memorize the pattern displayed. Turn right twice. Examine the radio and input the pattern you just saw: right, right, right, left, right, left, left, left. Pick up the key that appears. Turn left and unlock the bottom padlock with your black key. Pull the lever 6 times until you can look in the bird's open mouth and take some blackberries Blackberries.
Turn right and unlock the low cabinet with your gold key. Take some corn from inside. Turn right and give this to Mrs Pigeon, then click on her until she eats it all. Take another black key from the plate. Turn back to the left twice and unlock the other padlock. Click on the bird to free it, then turn left and click on it again to complete the circuit. Turn left and press the button to electrocute Mrs Pigeon. Click on her to get a pigeon wing Pigeon Wing.
Day 4
The Lobby
Turn left and go to the desk, then examine the key rack and take key 5. Turn right and approach the safe, inserting key 5 into slot 2. Now turn right twice and pick up the white wine White Wine. Turn right again and enter the kitchen. Talk to Mr Toad and give him the ingredients for "Pigeon in blackberry sauce with potatoes".
After night falls, use the elevator to get up to level 1. Exit and go through the door straight ahead into Room 3.
Room 3: Ms Pheasant
Talk to Ms Pheasant, who wants you to take her picture. Unroll the backdrop behind her, then turn right. Pick up the bottle of photo liquid on the left. Examine the clock and look at the top right corner to find some thyme Thyme. Next look at the table and take a dry glass plate from the right drawer. Look at the pictures above the table and remember how they look. Now turn right twice. Search the drawers on the left to get a brush, magnifying glass and matches. Open the window and wait for the hand to appear, then close the window on it and click on it again Need a hand?. Now use your brush on the blood.
Turn to the right and examine the backdrop. Draw the cross symbol corresponding with the "Lady in Blue" (if you get it wrong, clear it by using the cloth on the right). Back out and the left light should flicker to life. Turn right and focus on the table, then pour your photo liquid into the tray. Put your dry glass plate into the tray, then pick it up again and it will be wet. Turn right once more and examine the frame on the wall, taking a gold key from above it. Return left and unlock the right cupboard with your key, then take a hat from inside. Turn left and give the hat to Ms Pheasant; back out and the right light should flicker to life.
Turn right twice and examine the camera. Insert your wet glass plate, then press the red button and pick up the photo on glass plate. Put this into the frame on the wall before turning right again. Examine the safe and enter the 3 symbols from the photo you just created: cross-hairs, up arrow, S. Open the safe and take the crow mask from inside. Turn right and give this to Ms Pheasant. Draw two vertical lines on the backdrop corresponding with "Mr Crow" and both lights should again be on. Turn around and use the camera to take a photo as you did previously. Put this one into one of the empty frames on the wall to the right.
Turn right twice and examine the clock, setting the time to 3:30 (from the photo you just created). Pick up the small rolling pin. Examine the marionette theatre. Open the red curtains and click on the marionettes to raise them up, then give the rolling pin to the blue one. Click on the blue marionette 4 times, then take the small axe and give it to the red one. Click on the red marionette 6 times, then take the small torch from the blue one's neck. Give the small torch to the blue marionette, light it with your match and click on it. Now click on the burning red one and pick up the key. Use this key to unlock the left cupboard, then take an owl mask from inside.
Turn left and give the owl mask to Ms Pheasant. Draw a W symbol on the backdrop corresponding with "Mr Owl" and both lights should again be on. Turn around and use the camera to take a photo as you did previously. Put this one into the other empty frame on the wall to the right. Use your magnifying glass to look at the picture of Mr Owl and note the pattern of dots on his shirt. Turn right twice. Examine the small music box on the table. Open it and insert dots as seen on the picture (from top to bottom: 5, 4, 3, 2, 3, 4, 3, 2, 1, 3). Put the sheet back and turn the handle, then take the key that appears.
Turn right twice and use your new key to unlock the box on top of the drawers. Take the pistol from inside. Turn right and give Ms Pheasant the pistol, then click on her until she holds it to her head. Go and use the camera to take another photo as before. Go and examine Ms Pheasant and click on her to get the pheasant breast Pheasant Breast.
Day 5
The Lobby
Turn left and go to the desk, then examine the key rack and take key 3. Turn right and approach the safe, inserting key 3 into slot 1. Turn right and pick up the red wine Red Wine. Turn right twice more and enter the kitchen. Talk to Mr Toad and give him the ingredients for "Pheasant breast in white wine and thyme".
After night falls, use the elevator to get up to level 1. Exit and go through the door on the right into Room 2.
Room 2: Mr Boar
Take the candle hanging from the ceiling. Talk to Mr Boar, who wants a sandwich. Turn right and look behind the curtain, then take some boar shit from the toilet. Search the drawers on the right to find some lettuce and matches. Now place a slice of bread on the board on top of the drawers. Add the boar shit, lettuce and another slice of bread, then take the completed sandwich. Note the picture on the wall of some blue and red circles.
Turn right and examine the monkeys. Click on them in this order: left, middle, right, middle, left, right, right, left, middle, right. Take the head off the right monkey and grab a key from inside. Back out and take the toilet paper from the right. Now examine the heater beneath and spin the dials to arrange all the blue circles at the top. Take an opium pipe from the compartment on the left. Turn right and click on the flower until you end up with some opium. Use your key to unlock the low cabinet on the right, then use your candle to reveal another pattern of blue and red circles.
Turn right and give Mr Boar the sandwich, then click on him until he finishes eating it. Turn right and open the curtain, then give Mr Boar the toilet paper. Turn right and get some more toilet paper, then examine the heater again. Spin the dials to arrange all the blue circles along the right side. Take a hammer from the compartment on the right. Turn left, open the curtain and get some more boar shit from the toilet. Make another sandwich the same as the previous time. Turn left and give Mr Boar the sandwich, then click on him until he finishes eating it.
Now use your hammer on the supports holding the axe so that it falls. Back out and turn the lever until the rope reaches the floor. Click on the axe to tie it to the rope. Turn right and open the curtain, then give Mr Boar the toilet paper. Turn right and then back to the left, and open the curtain. Get some more boat shit from the toilet. Keep clicking on the toilet until you find some tomatoes Tomatoes.
Turn left and give Mr Boar the opium pipe, then fill it with opium and light it with your matches. Now keep spinning around as the room fills up with smoke, and you will end up in the woods. Keep spinning and click on crows in the trees when you see them. When Mr Crow appears, talk to him and you will get a knife. Talk to him once more You know what to do!. Click on him again to return to the room.
Look at the note on the wall and note the stamp. Turn right and use the knife on the rope to drop the axe. Click on Mr Boar to get the boar ribs Boar Ribs.
Day 6
The Lobby
Turn left and go to the desk, then examine the key rack and take key 2. Turn right and approach the safe, inserting key 2 into slot 5 (they should now show the number 35412). Open the compartment beneath and take the Rusty Lake Cigars Secret Rusty Lake Specialty. Turn left and enter the kitchen. Talk to Mr Toad and give him the ingredients for "Wild boar ribs in red wine with tomatoes".
After night falls, use the elevator to get up to level 2. Exit and go through the door straight ahead into Room 6.
Room 6: Mr Owl
Turn left twice and click on Mr Bat Just Hanging. Turn right twice.
Talk to Mr Owl until he tells you to look at the black cubes. Spin around and click on each of the 5 black cubes. Talk to Mr Owl again until the cover on the dish next to him lifts up to reveal a white cube. Click on this until you are transported back to the woods. Spin around and click on a total of 8 black cubes. Keep spinning and click on the elevator 3 times The Elevator.
