Kosmonavtes: Academy Escape is a science fiction puzzle game, continuing after Kosmonavtes: Escape Reality. You reprise your role as Vala, now on a mission to colonize Venus. There are 10 Steam Achievements, all documented in the walkthrough below.

Chapter 1

As you start the game you will be locked in your room Space Cadet!. Look under the corner of the rug to find some tape, then use this to fix the cable for your lamp. Pick up the astronaut pin from the base of the plant. Take the light bulb from the lamp, then go to the other part of the room. Take the sandpaper from behind the edge of the picture, and put the light bulb in the lamp here.

Examine the trash can and find 3 pieces of crumpled paper that you can reassemble to the right Trash panda!. There are also 4 pieces of trash with bar-codes and numbers (6, 2, 9 and 4). Back out and examine the desk drawer. Insert the astronaut pin, then enter the code 6294. Take the glue, book and book page from inside. Use your sandpaper on the symbols in the drawer to reveal them more clearly: moon, star, Saturn, rocket. Examine the trash can again and use your glue on the pieces of paper, then take the book page.

Back out again and turn off the lamp to reveal some glowing symbols on the ceiling. Count the number of moons, stars, Saturns and rockets (5, 8, 3 and 1). Look at the bookshelf to the right. Grab the book page from the top shelf, and insert your book.

Return to the other half of the room. Examine the safe and open it with the code 5831. Take another book, a UV light bulb and some acid from inside. Close the window shades. Put the UV light bulb into the lamp here, then tilt the lamp until it reveals some glowing lines on the window shades and the plant leaves (from top to bottom these are blue, orange, green and pink).

Cross the room and use the acid on the rusted desk leg. Use the desk leg to get the book from the top of the bookshelf. Go back across the room and use the desk leg to get the book page from beneath the furniture. Examine the book next to the telescope and insert your 4 pages (blue, orange, green and pink). Finally use the glue on the book to stick it all together. Pay attention to the heights of the pink lines on the window shades, then cross the room and insert your other books into the bookshelf. If you number the horizontal lines on the books 1-8 from lowest to highest, they should be in this order: 6, 2, 7, 4, 5, 1, 3, 8.

Go back and look at the green lines on the window shades to see that 4 books are highlighted. Look at the symbols on the corresponding books. Go to the exit door, where you need to press 4 symbols (top, bottom-right, left, top-left).

Chapter 2

Pick up the 3 boxes on the floor, then go through the door. Pick up the 2 boxes here and go back, then insert all 5 boxes into the empty shelves. Now you need to count groups of horizontal lines in both rooms (3 in the word LEVEL, 2 on the door in the first room, 4 and 6 on the doors in the second room). Back in the first room, open the safe with the code 3246. Take the multi-tool from inside.

Go to the second room and use the multi-tool on the floor, then grab the final box. While you are here, use the multi-tool on the panel on the right door. Take the broken fuse from inside, then back out. Return and insert this into the shelves. Now you need to reposition the boxes according to the colors pink, green and blue. In the second room you can find a symbol corresponding to each of these colors. Shuffle the boxes so the first symbol corresponds with the color at the top, and the second symbol corresponds with the color on the right. Take the printout that is revealed. Use this on the top-right box and take the tablet from inside. Use this on the pillar where you found the printout, then press the symbols according to the small orange lights on the wall just to the right:

Press the scan button, then take the new printout. Use this on the middle box and take the 3D printer from inside. Use this on the pillar, then click on it. You need to set the colors of the discs according to the wires that link them:

Use the broken fuse on the 3D printer to create a new fuse. Go back to the second room and insert the new fuse into the panel in the door. Now you need to find some colored numbers around the rooms (blue 4, orange 6, green 3). Within this door panel, you need to set numbers to different colors so that each color adds up to 15 in total:

  • Blue: 4, 2, 9
  • Green: 3, 5, 7
  • Orange: 6, 1, 8

Use your tablet on the right door and press the scan button, then take another printout. Return to the first room and use this printout on the bottom-right box. Take the space suit from inside. Return right and use this on the door. After your glove tears, use all 3 printouts on the tear, then seal it with your multi-tool Phew!. Pick up all the glass shards and foam pieces from around the room. Use the multi-tool on the grate in the floor. Examine the broken window. Put the metal grate in, then the glass pieces and finally the foam. Use your multi-tool to seal it all. Now try the airlock door once more.

Chapter 3

Pick up the pen, then search the drawers and pick up everything you can (pills, surgical glue, mortar and pestle, and surgical forceps). Remove the 2 sticky notes from the side of the desk to see a hint "A/B=D". Use the pen on the cardboard box and take the brush from inside. Next put the mortar and pestle on the desk, add the pills to it, then use the brush to get some dust on it. Examine the keypad near the door and use your dusty brush on it to highlight four numbers. Using the hint from the side of the desk you can narrow the order down further and guess the code of 8254. Go through the door.

Notice the 4 tanks behind the medical bed: blue, green, pink and red. Return to the first room and press the 4 large buttons in this order, so that letters are revealed. Press button A, then go through the door. Use the scanner (the arch on the left) to identify a leg injury. Look at the middle drawer beneath the bed, but it is stuck. Force it open with your pen, then take the magnifying glass from inside. Note the 4 buttons that now appear broken/stained. Press these same buttons on the left drawer, then take the first aid kit from inside. Press the other 3 buttons on the right drawer, then take the blood sampler from inside.

Now look at the patient's leg. Use the surgical forceps, surgical glue, magnifying glass and first aid kit to place them around the area. Now you need to use the items in the correct order:

  • Povidone-iodine (on any wound)
  • Surgical forceps (on each wound)
  • Magnifying glass (on each wound, then surgical forceps on the remaining pieces of glass)
  • Surgical stitches (on each wound)
  • Surgical glue (on the 3 smallest wounds)
  • Antibiotic ointment (on any wound)
  • Bandage (on the whole leg)

Go back out of this room and select Trauma and Yes.

Now press button B, then go through the door again. Use the scanner, then use your blood sampler on the patient. Go back out and put the blood sample into the blood analyzer to identify brain parasites. Go back to the medical room and look at the computer. Drag the bottom slider slowly to the left and click on the parasites as they appear on the images. Leave the room and select Infection and Yes.

Press button C, then enter the medical room. Use the scanner, then use your blood sampler on the patient. Go back out and put the blood sample into the blood analyzer to identify an unknown pathogen. Go back through and use the computer. Click on the green virus particles as they appear. Leave the room and select Infection, No and Yes.

Finally press button D and go through again. Use the scanner, then look at the computer. Put all the bones in position, then back out of the room. Select options Trauma and Yes Dr Vala?.

Chapter 4

Open the cupboards on the right and take the pumpkin gem, pot and tomato sauce. Open both sets of cupboards on the left and take the oven dish, serving tray and bean gem. Look at the buffet to the left and place your serving tray here. Go through the door to the hydroponics lab and note the flowers on the left (and their relative heights). Return to the kitchen and examine the fridge. Set the positions of the switches to the positions of those flowers (middle, bottom, top, middle, bottom). Now you can take the pumpkin, corn gem and light bulb from the fridge. While you are here, note the colors of the produce on the shelves in the fridge (red, yellow, orange). Go through to hydroponics again and change the color of the buttons on the side of the central unit to match this. Take the nutrient pack and knife from the small drawers.

Back in the kitchen, use the knife to dice the potatoes, then pick them up and put them into the boiling water on the right. Next put the pumpkin on the board and cut it with your knife. Take the pumpkin seeds out, then go through to hydroponics and take the corn and beans from the right wall. Put the 3 lots of seeds in the small drawer where you found the knife. Insert all 3 gems into the controls in the middle of the room. Now slide them around so the pumpkins are around the outside, the beans next, and the corn in the middle Green thumb!.

Collect the corn, pumpkin and bean pods from your new garden. Insert your light bulb on the left. Now look around both rooms for groups of dots (4 over the buffet, 5 over the pot, 3 over the door to the kitchen, 7 amongst the plants on the right). Enter the code 4537 beneath the light bulb. Insert the nutrient pack. You need to set the right dials according to the 2 posters in the kitchen (L6). Now by trial and error you can adjust the left dials to create mist (100 psi, 80 degrees). Take some spinach from here once it grows, then return to the kitchen.

Put the oven dish next to the chopping board, and the pot into the sink (you will automatically fill it with water). Wash the beans, spinach, pumpkin and corn in the sink. Put the washed beans in the oven dish. Put the spinach on the chopping board and chop it with the knife, then pick it up again. Put the pumpkin on the chopping board and chop it twice with the knife, then pick it up again. Add the diced pumpkin and tomato sauce to the pot on the stove. Add the shredded spinach and tomato sauce to the oven dish, then pick it up. Open the oven and put the oven dish inside. Wait a few seconds, then take it out again.

Look over at the buffet again and add your cooked bean chili, your potato and pumpkin curry. Go back and take the pot out of the sink and put it on the stove. Put the corn in the pot, then take it back off again. Put the corn on the chopping board and chop it with the knife, then pick it up again. Look at the buffet and add the corn. Now you need to dish out appropriately using the hints provided:

  • Top Row: Salad, corn on the cob, fruit salad
  • Bottom Row: Potato and pumpkin curry, bean chili

Chapter 5

Grab the wire from the hole in the shuttle. Now look for numbers around the place: there are 5 ones to the left of the door, and 4 twos on the corner of the display to the left. Go outside to see 1 three and 2 fours on the outside of the shuttle. Go back inside and open the top-left floor hatch with the code 5412. Grab the hydrophobic tent, tent stakes and container. Open the bottom-left floor hatch using the code from the mini-lab on the left: 0L8K3. Grab the communication antenna and the tablet.

Now look at the six windows in the roof of the shuttle and note the colors you can see. Examine the right floor panel and match these colors:

Take out the hammer, air canister and air sampler. Go outside and use the tent to pick up the green alien goo. Also take the pink alien fungi from the tree. Put the tent stakes into the large eggshell, then hit it with the hammer and you will break off a piece. Click on all 5 hexagons to move them into position around the aqua pentagon. Place the air sampler on the blue pentagon, then attach the air canister. Use the tablet on the air sampler, then press the scan button. Take the air canister (which now contains hydrogen). While you are out here, collect some water in your container.

Return inside and use the alien goo on the hole in the shuttle, then fill the hole with the eggshell. Look at the mini-lab on the left and insert the hydrogen canister. Press the eject button, put the container of water inside, then press the eject button again. Now increase the temperature by pressing the up button until the liquid evaporates, then press the right button to discover it was liquid oxygen.

Look at the stars in the sky outside, and the ones you can see through the shuttle windows. Examine the shuttle console and click on the 3 matching constellations to triangulate your position. Go back outside and put the communication antenna on the right pentagon. Use the wire on it to connect it to the shuttle. Use the tablet on the antenna. Now click the orange tendril from the tree to drag it down to the antenna.

Go back into the shuttle and use the console again. You need to get the top and bottom sound waves to be identical but clicking on different signal segments:

Put the mushrooms into the ocean. Go back to the shuttle and use the console once more:

Chapter 6

Use your helmet on the snow at the bottom left, then pick up the screwdriver and black diamond. Use the screwdriver to remove the pink crystal from the igloo wall. Next use the black diamond on the shuttle's window so you can get the blue crystal. Use the screwdriver here as well and take out the epoxy glue and rope. Use the screwdriver to get the first aid kit out of the ice, and to free more of the red lifting jack from in front of the igloo.

Fix your helmet with the epoxy glue, then pick it up. Use your helmet on the water hole and the rope on the shuttle, then dive into the water. Take the bottle from the rock on the right to get a filter, and pick up the trunk from the left. Pick up the red lifting jack part, then go back to the surface and use it to fix the lifting jack. Dive down again and use the lifting jack on the piece of shuttle. Grab the green crystal, then retrieve the lifting jack. Look at the locker down here and see four symbols: rocket, starfish, moon, letter R. Look around both scenes and count these objects to find 4 pieces of a rocket, 5 starfish, 6 moons and 1 letter R. Open the locker with code 4561. Take the orange crystal and lenses from inside, then go back to the surface.

Look at the solar panel and insert your 4 crystals, then adjust the mirrors to direct the 4 beams to the central crystal. Use the lifting jack on the right part of the shuttle, then pick up the metal tube. Add the lenses, then rotate them to get the clearest picture possible. Now you need to send a message to the station:

  • S (three quick taps)
  • O (three long holds)
  • S (three quick taps)

Once the message is received SOS, decode the message you receive back, by clicking on the letters for each word:

  • CHECK
  • BLOOD
  • BEGS

Back out, then put the trunk down in front of the igloo. Convert the word BEGS into similar looking numbers and open the trunk with the code 8365. Break open the ice on the right with your screwdriver, then open the first aid kit and take out the blood sampler, beaker and vials. Collect some water in your beaker, then use this on the beam to boil it and collect some in a vial. Collect some normal surface water in another vial. Dive down and get a sample in the final vial from the hydrothermal vent. Look at the trunk again and use the blood sampler on one of the dishes - you are infected. Now do the following:

  • Put the hydrothermal sample on a dish, and examine it.
  • Put the surface water sample on a dish, and examine it.
  • Put the boiled water sample on a dish, and examine it.
  • Put the hydrothermal sample and a filter on a dish, and examine it.
  • Put the surface water sample, a filter, and the isolated microbe on a dish, and examine it.
  • Put the antidote on your blood.

Chapter 7

Look at the colored pipes on the back wall, and count the lines across each of them. Using this, press the buttons in this order:

Collect the anti-rust spray, mallet and scalpel. Use the mallet on the railing to break off a metal pipe. Try to turn the valve on the green pipe, then use the anti-rust spray on it and try again. Now use the metal pipe on it.

Go through to the control room and use the scalpel on the sofa cushion. Use the finder scope on the telescope. Look through the telescope, then grab Jupiter, which is blocking your view. Adjust the settings on the telescope to be able to read the name of the shuttle "Leilani". Look at the combination lock on the console and open it with the code LEILANI. Inside, grab the printout, AI chip and Saturn.

Return to the engine room and use the printout to remove the cover from the panel. Take Earth, then go to the control room. Examine the model of the solar system and insert your 3 planets. Now you need to swap the positions of the planets until they are correct:

  1. Mercury (small, dark blue)
  2. Venus (small, red)
  3. Earth (small, blue/green)
  4. Mars (small, orange)
  5. Jupiter (big, red)
  6. Saturn (ringed, orange)
  7. Uranus (medium, light blue)
  8. Neptune (medium, blue)
  9. Pluto (small, pink)

From the open drawer, take another AI chip and a security key. Examine the left blue screen and insert the security key. Now you need to press the buttons according to the number of dots next to the same symbols on the back wall:

There are a series of labeled AI chips on the right in the engine room. Enter their names into the new console screen and choose to deactivate those that are on secondary systems (3C, 4L and 8Y). Go out and grab those chips from the engine room. Insert all 5 of your AI chips into the panel beneath the engine. Now click on pairs of AI chips to form links between them according to the numbers written on the chips. Once the engine powers up, notice the order of the colored rings lighting up. Go through to the control room and use the new monitor. Click on the bars in the same order as the colored rings (if number 1-4 from top to bottom, click on 2, 4, 1 and 3). Examine the monitor again - as the shuttle is drifting away from the middle, quickly click on the 2 symbols around the other side of the circle. Repeat this until you dock successfully Goodbye Earth!.

Chapter 8

Open the door of the 3rd cryopod and take the clothes from inside. Go to the console in the other room and use the middle screen. You need to search around for the position of the satellite. One way that consistently works is as follows:

  • Go left 5 times
  • Go down once
  • Go right 10 times
  • Go down once
  • Go left 10 times

Keep going down and alternately left and right. Once you see the satellite, move it to the middle of the screen Target lock.... Take the glass cutter from the compartment that opens up below. Go back to cryogenics and cut the glass on the front of the bench so you can take the scalpel and surgical glue (you will also end up with the round glass piece).

Approach the console in the other room again. Look at the colored bars around the front of the console, each with a number of black dots. Look at the left screen and click on the hexagons in the other from the colored bars:

In the opening below there is a leaking pipe and the number 417. Put the surgical glue on the leak, but it doesn't fix it completely. Back out and grab the 2 gems from the back wall here, and notice the numbers above them: 836 and 752. Return to cryogenics. Look at the front of the bench and insert the 2 gems. Rotate the gems until the 3 ovals each have single colors. Take the bandage. Try each of the 3-digit numbers you just found - 836 will work. Return to the other room and fix the leaking pipe with the bandage. Soak up the water with the clothes, then use the glass piece on the scratchings: it says "Purple". Go back to cryogenics and examine the exposed green AI chip. Use the scalpel to cut the two wires that add up to purple (blue and red). Now take the green AI chip.

Use the wet clothes to clean the floor and reveal some mirrored numbers: 57814. Go to the other room and enter this combination into the panel on the right. Use the scalpel to remove the purple AI chip. Now examine the middle panel and replace the two burnt AI chips with your new ones. Now you need to change the order of these chips to match the colored symbols around the top of the console: pink, green, yellow, purple, blue, red, orange. This will then display the code D0BBY07. Look at the middle screen and enter this code at the top. Back out and pick up the cheat sheet that has appeared, then examine the middle screen again. Place the cheat sheet here, then add stars (S) and rockets (R) so there are 3 in each row and column, but never 3 in a row:
