Dracula's Castle
Courtyard
Either right at the start or some other time throughout the room, request a hint from the pause menu Take a Hint.
Examine the windows of the carriage and wipe them both so you can see through them clearly. Look at the pattern on the red cloth you can see through one window, paying attention to the animal heads and the directions they are rotated. Go around to the other window and look at the puzzle beneath it. Slide and rotate the animal heads to match the pattern you just saw, and the door to the carriage will open.
Pick up the key and the bottle from inside the carriage. Find a small note on the right of the message board, that reads "Veritas = Truth, Menacium = Lies". Go over to the large mural on the wall in the side alcove, and read the messages associated with each of the 3 symbols. You need to work out which of the figures in the mural are lying, and which are telling the truth. In this case they are:
- Everyone is telling the truth: Lie
- There are two or more liars: Truth
- I am telling the truth: Lie
Now turn left and examine the small locked doors. Slide the lock mechanism left, left, right, left, left, right. Open the small doors and take out the moon key (1/4). Back out and pick up the paper on the locked case just below the small doors. This shows you a code of letters in a grid. Look at the flames that appear in the windows high above the exit door. Translate the message using the code. Go back to the locked case where you found the code, then open the lock with the combination HELP. Take out the stake.
Grab the hammer from the bench in front of the message board. Use the key you got from the carriage to open the locked chest on the back of the carriage. Insert the bottle, stake and hammer into the chest, then take the mirror from the compartment that opens.
Pick up a chest with 3 dials from the ground in front of the message board. Look at the wall to the left to see some sliders you can move up and down. Move the sliders to the symbols matching the dials on the chest and look for which Roman numerals are highlighted on the wall. Open the chest with the combination 246. Take out 2 mechanical keys.
Go to the 2 statues near the entrance gate. Insert the mechanical key with 2 protruding pieces into the base of the angel statue. Rotate it until all of the arrows are lined up around the edge, then take the key. Turn around and repeat this with the other mechanical key in the base of the demon statue, taking out 2 statuettes.
Use your key to unlock the doors on the right of the small alcove. Inside you will see a table with an inscription. You need to work out where to place the angel and demon statuettes you just collected:
Take out another moon key (2/4). Next head over to the well. There are 4 panels in the corners where you can slide a small round window around to reveal symbols. Each panel also has a golden arrow. Use the mirror near each of these and walk in the direction of the arrow to see a symbol high up above you. Adjust each of the 4 panels to show the symbols matching each area.
Grab the bag from the edge of the well and open it, then take out the book and read it to see a list of Latin words. Talk to the well to hear the phrase "Proba te esse corde puro". You will then be asked to answer a series of questions in Latin:
- Ubi sunt falco? Caelum
- Quid est inimicus ignis? Aqua
- Quid est post vitam? Mors
- Quid est maximum? Sol
Take the next moon key (3/4). Pick up the shovel. Notice the lanterns hanging from the tree. There are 2 positions where you can stand so the blue symbols on the walls line up with the lanterns and make them glow. Dig in the ground at these 2 locations to get a mechanical key and a chest. Interact with the mechanical key to open its spikes, then use it to open the chest. Rotate the dial on the top to open the drawer and take the final moon key (4/4).
Go to the exit door. Insert each of the moon keys into a slot - if it is in the wrong place, it will point to the right place. Once all 4 are correct the door will open.

Feast
You will start this level sitting in a seat at a dining table. Pick up a pastry and eat it Bon Appetit!. Pick up the 3 metal tiles and the ornate box. Insert the 3 tiles into the top of the box to show a key symbol, then open the box and take out a goblet.
Pick up another 2 goblets you can see on the table. Break into the top layer of the large cake to find another goblet. Look at the symbols on each of the 5 goblets, then place them on the 5 circles in front of you:
- 1 candle
- 2 faces
- 3 leaves
- 4 triangles
- 5-pointed star
Once these are in position, you will be free from the chair. Open the low cupboards in the tall set of shelves, and take out a key from the right side. Use this to open the octagonal wooden box near the fireplace. In this puzzle, you need to ensure that each of the 4 Kingdoms has one of each type of resource (Water, Gold, Knowledge, Crops). Move the shapes into position as follows:
Take the statuette (1/4) from inside the box. Go to the opposite corner of the room and take a scrap of paper from the low cupboard you opened earlier, then another from on top of the cupboard. Find another scrap of paper next to a box on a low wooden cupboard along the wall. Continue along that wall to find two more scraps of paper inside another low cupboard and on top of it. Now assemble all of these together in the frame on top of this cupboard, then take the reassembled note.
Open the glass doors in the tall set of shelves, and take the red book from inside, then read it. The 5 animals listed on the right page correspond to the 5 heads mounted on the wall. You need to pull the chains beneath them in the correct order. If they are numbered 1-5 from left to right, pull them in this order: 5, 1, 2, 3, 4. Take a statuette (2/4) from behind the 4th animal head.
Go over to the tall shelves and collect an engraved seal (1/4) and a statuette (3/4) from the main bench, as well as another engraved seal (2/4) from behind the left glass door. Find another engraved seal (3/4) from next to where you put the note together earlier, and the final engraved seal (4/4) from the middle wooden cupboard along the wall.
Now you can approach the box on the side cupboard, which has places for a total of 7 engraved seals. Collect the 3 that are already here, as they will need repositioning. Each seal must be positioned so that it has one characteristic in common with any adjacent seals. Insert them as follows:
- Top Row: Green sunflower
- Middle Row: Blue cross, Blue segments, Blue rose, Green rose
- Bottom Row: Blue sunflower, Red sunflower
The drawer below will open so you can grab another statuette (4/4). Now head to the family tree on the opposite wall. Collect the other 4 statuettes that are already here. Examine the family tree note that you reassembled, as this will help you with the family tree statues. The idea is to work out which family members are alive (light statues), and which are deceased (dark statues), and where they sit in the family tree. Position the statues as follows:
The scene will now change. Look at the cloche on the dining table and rotate the segments until the patterns match, then lift it up to reveal the plate beneath. Look at the 3 sets of symbols here. Pick up the 5 weapons that are on the 5 dining chairs. Now go to the suits of armor around the room and add the weapons based on the plate and the shield symbols:
- Striped Pattern: Mace in right hand, small axe in left hand
- Two Spear Heads: Mace in right hand, double-headed axe in left hand
- Goblet and Wings: Sword in right hand
Carefully examine the painting above the fireplace. Now crawl into the fireplace, then stand up and turn around. You need to adjust the 7 smaller images to match the painting over the fireplace:
- Top Left: Fish
- Top Right: Owl
- Middle Left: Devil
- Middle Right: Key
- Bottom Left: Rabbit
- Bottom Right: Apples
Take the key that is revealed. After crawling out from the fireplace, turn left and look at the painting on the wall, which shows the word DEUS. Go over towards the large chest on the ground. Examine the key you just picked up, and adjust it so you can read the word DEUS. Insert the key into the chest and it will open, so you can take out the master key.
Approach the exit door, which is where you will insert the master key. Examine the master key and move both sliding component. Insert the master key to open the door.
There are also 8 hidden tokens to find:
- On the back of the chair at the head of the table
- On the floor beneath the wood stacked next to the fireplace
- On the left end of the mantel above the fireplace
- On top of the left candle to the left of the exit door

- Under the edge of the table cloth of the dining table, between the chairs near the animal heads
- In the middle of the balcony railing, high up over the foot of the dining table
- Inside the goblet next to the engraved seal puzzle box
Sweet Dreams
Examine the mirror in the corner of the room. In the reflection, look at all the pictures around the room - some will look normal, and in others the people will be missing - these are vampires. Go around the room and use the markers at the bottom of each portrait to identify the vampires:
- Man over the fireplace
- Man immediately left of the mirror
- Woman to the right of the wooden door
- Woman with red pearls to the right of the bed
Symbols will now appear on those portraits. Examine the drawers to the left of the bed. Open the lock with a combination of the 4 symbols from the portraits: B, VI, Star, 4. Open the drawer and take out a key. Next look at the large chest at the foot of the bed - there is a symbol on the top of the chest. Lie down on the bed and wait there for 10 seconds Power Nap. Locate the symbols above the bed that have the 4 main characteristics of the symbol on the chest:
- Two narrow horns
- Large curved left arm
- Horn on back of right arm
- Curved legs
Return to the chest and press the buttons corresponding to these symbols:
Open the chest and take out a statue (1/5) and a metal plate (1/6). Go back to the drawers next to the bed and collect another metal plate (2/6) from on top of them. Examine the bird cage just to the left. Rotate the puzzle on the front to gradually get the metal ball to the very bottom. After the cage opens, take the next statue (2/5).
Turn around and approach the large bookshelves. Take the blue/green book from the left and open it. You are look for differences between the facing pages. In each case there is a large symbol on the left side, and a group of smaller symbols on the right side. Back out and look at the pillars of the bookshelves. You need to set the numbers on these according to the numbers of smaller symbols from the book: 6, 7, 8, 9. A compartment will open, allowing you to take 2 metal plates (4/6).
Go to the dressing table and open the top left drawer to find another metal plate (5/6), and the bottom left drawer to find the last metal plate (6/6). Now go over to the second bird cage. Insert the 6 metal plates to create a continuous pattern around the top of the cage. The cage will open, allowing you to take the next statue (3/5).
Use your key to unlock the balcony door, then go outside. Pick up a statue (4/5) as well as a journal and a spyglass. Open the journal to see the descriptions of various towns. Now use the spyglass to look around at the towns in the distance. Go to the map on the wall, where you need to correctly place the names of 5 towns:
- Galdora: In the mountains at the far top left
- Scar City: On the islands at the top right
- Lycan: The furthest point to the left, in the mountains
- Madrose: The town just below the top bridge
- Valdor: On the left edge of the river at the far bottom
Grab the final statue (5/5). There are 5 platforms on the balcony on which you need to place the 5 statues. When you place them, certain symbols beneath them will rotate (based on the pattern shown on the base of the statues themselves. You need to place the statues so all symbols rotate. Place them in this order from left to right:
- Owl
- Falcon
- Bat
- Heron
- Crow
Pick up the key from the floor panel that opens. Head back inside and use this key to enter the bathroom. Pick up the small winding key from the table next to the bath. Pick up the box from the wooden chair and examine it. Attach the winding key and rotate it slightly. Rotate the other winding key slightly, then rotate the first one again to open the box. Take out another key. Pick up the jewellery box from the day bed, and open it with the key. Take out a pendant and a note. Examine the pendant and the note to work out the phrase "DROWNME".
Stand on the side of the bath near the door and look back over the bath. You will see 3 handles above the bath that you can pull, and a series of hand prints on the opposite mirror. The different types of hand print correspond to the different handles. Pull the handles in this order:
- Right
- Left
- Middle
- Middle
- Left
- Right
Four grates will open so you can pick up 4 box-like pipes. You need to put these into the correct grate openings, based on the different pipes you can see within them:
- Pipe 1/4: Near the chair
- Pipe 2/4: Near the day bed
- Pipe 3/4: Near the bucket
- Pipe 4/4: Near the table
Use the lever on the side of the faucet to fill the bath, then put the pendant into the bath. Stick your head into the water to get a different view of the room. There are markings for where you need to place 2 candelabras, and for where you need to stand. Use the bath again to return to the normal world. Drag the 2 candelabras to the positions marked. Use the bath once more, then stand at the position indicated.
Touch the glowing key over the bath, then pick it up from the water. Go out to the main room and use the key in the exit door.

- Large triangle, small circle
- Large semicircle, small cross
- Large cross, small water drop
You will now fall down to the ground. Look around the room to find objects with the word Eternus, where one letter is rotated:
- Sword with the letter R rotated
- Helmet with the letter T rotated
- Shield with the letter N rotated
Look at the large lock on the chest on the floor and open it with the code RTN. Take out the golden sphere (1/3). Pick up another golden sphere (2/3) from the shelf in front of the pictures including the apple tree. Pick up the urn from the small alcove to the left of the gate and throw it on the ground to break it. Pick up the final golden sphere (3/3) that was inside it. Place the 3 golden spheres into the hands on the wall, then pick up the key that is dropped. Use this key in the bottom lock in the alcove to the right of the hanging coffin.
Next pick up the puzzle box on the steps beneath the hanging coffin. Examine this in your inventory. First you need to find a position (towards the top right) where you can drag the right marker so the left patterns match up. Now click on the left slider. Find a position (towards the bottom left) where you can drag the right marker to the left patterns match up again. Take out the key. Use this in the top lock in the alcove to the right of the hanging coffin. Open the small gates and take out the key and gem from behind them.
Insert the gem in the podium in the middle of the room, then pick up the mysterious eye. Insert the key at the base of the pillar to the left of the hanging coffin. Pick up the scroll and read it to see a series of 4 groups of symbols. Use the mysterious eye to look at the items and pictures around the room, and you can work out what each symbol means. The writing on the scroll means the following:
- Man left of sword
- Shield left of man
- Man below helmet
- Tree below sun
Now examine the puzzle where you found the scroll. You need to move the tiles around to obey the 4 rules of the scroll:
- Move the sun over the tree
- Move the 2 men so they are between the swords and shields
- Move the 2 helmets over the 2 men
Take the key and insert it at the base of the pillar to the right of the hanging coffin. Pick up the scroll and read it to see a another series of 4 groups of symbols. The writing on this scroll means the following:
- Apple below tree
- Key between 2 apples
- Moon between 5 stars
- Vampire above man
Examine the puzzle and move the tiles around to obey the 4 rules of the scroll:
- Move the 3 stars up to the top middle position, and place the moon between the 2 stars and 3 stars
- Move the man to the bottom left corner
- Move the apples to the sides of the men, and the key between the apples
- Move the tree over the right apple
- Move the vampires over the men
The coffin will fall to the ground. Pick up the key in front of it. Insert this key into the large gate to open it. Pick up the skull (1/6) from the left side of the steps in the new room, and another skull (2/6) from one of the skull shelves on the right. Look at the shiny altar on the left side of the room. Open the bag on the floor in front of it and take out a stake (1/3). Next drag the figure on top of the altar from near the top right to near the bottom left, and a glowing beam will appear in the room in the same orientation. You need to draw a path so that the beam makes its way to the statue near the far side of the other room. Once successful, go out to the statue and pull the lever that has appeared. Pick up the skull (3/6) and a stake (2/3) from beneath the statue. Next open the box at the top of the stairs and take out the rotary lockbox.
Look at where the incense is sitting on the step - it is seen flowing in through a near vent, and out through a different one on the ceiling. Take note of the symbols on these vents. Pick up the incense and place it near another floor vent, then watch where it comes out near the ceiling elsewhere. Repeat this two more times. Now examine the rotary lockbox and drag the sliders to indicate the pairs of vents you have seen:
Take out the stake (3/3) from the box. Now look at the dials to the left of the doorway back to the main room. By turning these, you rotate the discs on the picture on the other side of the doorway. You can rotate either both segments of the discs or just one of them. Keep rotating until you complete the picture, then take the next skull (4/6).
Examine the 7 bells hanging in the second room. You need to ring these in a specific order, based on the relative ages of the bells. If you get one wrong, the bells that are "older" will ring, to give you a hint as to the correct order. Ring the bells as follows:
Pick up another skull (5/6). Examine the note on the barrel in the second room. Go out to the coffin and insert your 3 stakes into the 3 positions marked on the note:
Take the final skull (6/6) from inside the coffin. Enter the second room again, where you need to place the 6 skulls in the appropriate slots:

The Lost Starship
Hibernation Pods
You will start inside a hibernation pod. Answer the question with any option, the look down and use the first aid kit. Now answer the 3 questions using information you can see inside and outside your pod:
- What is 2+2?
4
- What planet are you from?
Mars
- What is the name of this ship?
De.. ..im.. ..os 3
Pick up the comic book from the sofa on the left and read it Comic Relief. Pick up the 3D print from the top of this sofa. Go over to the locker owned by Mira. You need to work out the code to open this locker, based on the 3D print. Enter the code 1638 and the door will open. Press the button to see an image of a dog, and pick up the keycard.
From near the other side of the room, take the blue personal log from on the wall and read it. Now examine the small orange keypad near the sofa, to the left of the airlock door. You need to create paths based on the clues from the log. Insert the symbols along the paths shown below:
Take the screwdriver and a power core (1/3). Go to the open locker on the left and pick up another power core (2/3). Wipe your hands over the dirty glass window and you will see the code 47368 written on the other side. Go to the keypad for the airlock door and open it with your screwdriver. You need to reprogram it so you can gradually enter the code 47368, then press the bottom right button. Go through the door and press the button on the right to start a scan - you have an infection and cannot proceed.
Open the second hibernation bay and take out the paper. Go over to the locker owned by Tarin. You need to work out the code to open this locker, based on the paper. Enter the code 3864 and the door will open. Pick up another power core (3/3) and a clipboard.
Insert the keycard into the machine in the middle of the room, then insert the 3 power cores. Now you need to collect 3 med components. One is next to the left end of the sofa, and the other two are in the airlock hallway. Place these on the sides of the machine and press the button to check them (make sure the symbols on the sides of the components match the symbols on the screen to get them in the right spots).
Lie down on the table and run a scan. When you are prompted to run a manual scan, drag the scanner over 3 separate positions where it says it is detecting, then initiate a match detection. Look at the 3 red spheres over the body and click on the one bacterium that is present in all 3 of them (spherical with lots of blunt spikes). Look at the screen again and select to create a sample.
Take the bacteria sample from the end of the machine. Insert this into the machine to the left of the sofa. Now you must use the information from the clipboard to create a cure. Insert the following to succeed, making sure the small white lines match up:
Create the substance, then release the cure. Now enter the airlock and start the scan again. You can enter the next room. Examine the left side of the console and adjust the shapes on the right until you can read the number 930 on the left. Go to the captain's hibernation pod and open it with the code 930. Take the paper from the captain's grasp and read it to see the code "override four alpha bravo".
Take the blue personal log from the wall to the right of the console and read it. Go out to the locker owned by Liora. You need to work out the code to open this locker, based on the personal log. Enter the code 4535 and the door will open.
Return to the second room again. Look at the panel to the left of the door you just came through. To solve this puzzle you need to drag the move commands to the various slots around the edge of the puzzle, to uncover the underlying glowing shapes. Place the commands in these positions in order from 1-4:
Take out the RFID device. Go around the level and use this to scan 3 available RFID chips. One is on the wall near the captain's hibernation pod, another is to the left of the sample machine, and a third is to the right of the dirty window. The final RFID chip is in Liora's locker.
Go back to the second room again. Use the right side of the console and take the crew log when it is offered. Using this information, you need to go around to the holograms and indicate which belongs to each crew member:
- Kael: Standing at the console in the second room
- Liora: Standing near the hibernation pods
- Mira: Sitting on the sofa
- Tarin: Kneeling near the sofa
Leave the other holograms blank. Return to the console and press the button on the right screen. Take the keycard and insert it into the slot in the exit door. Now you need to use the RFID device to create the correct phrase. Copy these sections:
- Log2.wav: "over"
- Log4.wav: "ride"
- Log3.wav: "four"
- Log4.wav: "Alpha"
- Log1.wav: "bra"
- Log3.wav: "vo"
Now use the RFID device on the audio input in the exit door.
There are also 8 hidden tokens to find:
- On the projector above the medical bed
- On the side of the medical bed (beneath the main bed, on the same side as the hibernation pods)
- On the coat hanger inside Tarin's locker
- Inside the first hibernation pod (CP-1)
- On the curved blue pipe to the right of the fourth hibernation pod (CP-4)
- In the plant above the sofa (you need to throw it at the ground to break it first)
- On the back of the console (look through the dirty window from the first room to see it)
- One of the captain's teeth
Bridge
Go down to the lower bridge and grab the tablet from the bench on the right, then read it. Now head to the left screen, which is for navigation. Based on the information from the tablet, you need to move the target so the approximate distances from known stars are shown, in order to find new locations. At each site, press the scan button.
- Crux: Corvus 599, Lynx 510, Proxima 414
- Serpens: Draco 470, Grus 389, Rego 330
- Leo: Perseus 453, Corvus 375, Crux 260
- Relay Alpha: Crux 400, Leo 403, Serpens 305
Next look at the right screen, which is for communication. You need to assign numbers to the cells (0 or 1) so that the red markers correctly indicate the total of the values in the surrounding cells:
Grab a starchart drive from the top shelf of a low open cupboard in the right of the bridge area, and another from on the bench on the right side of the bridge. Pick up the third one from the floor in the upper area. Insert all 3 of these in the right side of the bridge, then retrieve them again. Go up to the upper area to find a large area where you need to calibrate the star charts. You need to click on groups of stars that are in the same pattern as those shown on the 3 starchart drives you picked up.
Once you have located all 3 groups of stars, the energy distribution panel will be unlocked. Take the energy distributor, which is below this panel. Use the energy distribution panel to give 1 energy unit to circuit A and 1 energy unit to circuit B. Now use your energy distributor to look through the ground and reroute the conduits so all 2 units end up at the locked cabinet beneath the right side of the bridge downstairs. Open this cabinet and take out a fuse (1/5).
Return to the energy distribution panel and give 2 energy units to circuit A. Reroute the conduits to deliver both units to the locked cabinet upstairs, so you can open it and take the force tool. Back out and turn right to look out into space. Set the force tool to Pull mode, and use it to bring the nearby box inside. Open this and take out 2 fuses (3/5). Go to the door at the top of the stairs and press the button on the door to see a series of 5 symbols. The other 2 fuses (5/5) are in slots to the right. Rearrange the 5 fuses in the slots to the right so they are in the correct order, then press the red button beneath the fuses to open the door.
Keeping 2 energy units in circuit A, reroute the conduits to deliver both units to the spacesuit room, then use it to get suited up. You can now walk outside - go to the end of the top platform and turn left to see 3 solar panels. Rotate these so they don't overlap at all, then use your force tool to Push away all the nearby debris that is blocking the light.
Before heading back inside, turn left and go down a ramp, then crawl into an access tunnel. Pick up the wire connector (1/3). If you continue to the end of the tunnel you will find another wire connector (2/3). Back out a bit and turn a red wheel on the left wall to open another room. In here there is a panel that requires a 4-digit code to unlock. Back at the bridge, the central screen gives you this code: 5728. Return to the tunnel and use the panel here. You need to enter each digit separately - the digit that gets entered is based on the number of circles that get activated when you press the Input Number button, and you adjust this by rotating the various components. Gradually enter the code 5728.
Go back to the energy distribution panel and give 3 energy units to circuit A and 3 energy units to circuit B. Reroute the conduits to deliver all 6 units to the locked cabinet to the left of the bridge. Open this and take out the final wire connector (3/3). Go back down to the tunnel. You need to insert the wire connectors in specific places:
- Top: Wire connector 1/3
- Middle: Wire connector 3/3
- Bottom: Wire connector 2/3
Go back into the ship and open the plasma container, which is opposite the bridge console. Inside here are 6 rotating blocks. You need to rotate them so that when you release them, they compress together to a specific total distance. There are 3 steps to this process.
Return to the energy distribution panel and add 3 energy units to circuit C. Reroute the conduits to deliver all 9 units to the tractor system, which is upstairs. Once it is active, reset the tractor field, then click on the following negative signs in order when you are looking directly from the front:
- Far Left
- Bottom Left
- Top Left
- Top Left
- Bottom Right
Return to the energy distribution panel and add 3 energy units to circuit D. Reroute the conduits to deliver all 12 units to the exit door upstairs. Go and open the door.
There are also 8 hidden tokens to find:
- In the spacesuit room, to the right of the panel
- To the left of the red flashing light at the top of the stairs
- In the bottom of the small cupboard where you got the first starchart drive
- Beneath the front of the right bridge chair (rotate the chair to see it).
- On the keyboard in front of the navigation terminal
- In space just outside the window to the left of the navigation terminal
- On the back of a curved golden plate hovering out in space (Pull it toward you first)
- In the grille opposite the auxiliary power panel in the tunnel
Cargo Hold
In one side of the room you will find 2 narrow lockers. Open the right one and take out the Trade Alliance Sector Manual. Read this to see a diagram with 4 overlapping sectors. Back out and find a crate to the left that has some controls on top of it. On the left are symbols matching the sectors in the manual. You need to find a symbol that is unique to the sector or sectors indicated, and drag that symbol to the right. From top to bottom, the correct symbols are:
- Planet
- Star
- Rocket
- Target Sights
- Hexagon
Turn the handle and the crate will open. Take out the elevator key. Next go to the grid of lockers. Press the power button to the right and read the message. You can work out that the number for the middle locker is 459, so enter this code on the keypad and open it. Take out a keycard.
Return to the narrow lockers and take a tablet from inside the left one, as well as a damaged artifact and another tablet from the crate just to the right. Find a third tablet on a crate in the corner of the room. Look at each of these to see details of damaged artifacts. Just to the right of where you found the third tablet, place the damaged artifact on the corner of the large machine. Press the Start Scan button on the machine. Drag the 3 handles on the edges of the machine so the 3 symbols match the tablets, then press the Repair Object button. Retrieve the damaged artifact (1/4).
Use your keycard in the orange door, then go through and climb the ladder to reach the control room. Turn the handle on the large door here. In the side room, there are 15 containers, holding 3 different chemicals. Based on the rules on the wall, you need to place these correctly as follows:
Take the case and open it, taking out the plasma cutter and associated manual. Examine the plasma cutter. First rearrange the top panels so they look like this:
Now rearrange the bottom panels to create a path through the gaps from left to right. Now the plasma cutter will be active. Now use the right console screen in the control room to scan the object and find that it is shielded. You need to use the controls to draw a series of 3 triangles that cover all 14 weak points. Once this is done, press the Cut Shield button.
Return down the ladder and insert your keycard to the right of the large glass door, revealing a mobile scissor lift. Use this to move around the outside of the large sphere. Use your plasma cutter to melt all 4 circular welds - each will reveal a different circular panel with a puzzle to solve. Note that you can use the welder at 2 spots from the ground, and the 2 higher ones require you to be on the scissor lift.
Find the high panel with some alien symbols and an animated display of moving symbols along the bottom. By watching the order of the moving symbols and the effect they have on the broken lines, you can work out which symbols should be shown at the top right. Click on these until the correct symbols are shown (in the diagram below, look for the yellow number on the left, find the matching symbol and place it at the matching blue number position on the right):
Take another damaged artifact (2/4). Now go to one of the lower panels where 4 drones flew out when you opened it. Use the rotating viewer in the panel to identify 4 locations around the cargo hold, then go to those locations and grab the drones (note that you need to be standing right near for them to appear):
- To the right of the control room door
- High up to the right of the door where you found the scissor lift (you need to be on the lift)
- In the room where you found the scissor lift
- Behind a crate near the grid of small storage lockers
Return to the panel and insert the 4 drones, then take another damaged artifact (3/4). Go to the other high panel. Here you need to place the diamond symbols so that all the round symbols are activated. Some of the diamond symbols only have active top halves or bottom halves. There are 3 levels to complete:
- Level 1: Top left (full), top right (full), middle (full)
- Level 2: Top left (bottom), middle (top), bottom right (top)
- Level 3: Far left (bottom), middle (bottom), right (top), bottom left (full)
Grab the final damaged artifact (4/4). Now go to the final panel and insert all of the damaged artifacts.
There are also 8 hidden tokens to find:
- Inside the right narrow locker
- Inside small locker 823 (use the keypad to open it)
- On top of the white light over the grid of small lockers
- On the ground to the right outside the blue force field
- On the Rules of Conduct sign where you found the scissor lift
- On the back of one of the cabled lights shining up at the large sphere
- Beneath the hat on the control room console desk
- Behind the fire extinguisher on the wall of the control room
Into the Unknown
When you first arrive in the room, only one puzzle is accessible. You need to find the shapes listed on the right by highlighting them in the grid to the left:
This will now activate multiple other puzzles. Go around the room to find one with a flat board and multiple pieces you can move to create silhouettes. The board layout is as follows:
Put the following pieces in positions 1-5 on the board:
- Horizontal pyramid
- Cylinder
- Pillars (large ones at right)
- Pillars (large ones at bottom)
- Vertical pyramid
Pick up the kinetic core (1/5). Now head to an area of the floor with 4 movable pot plants. Pick up a series of 4 disks from a holder near the middle of the room here. The floor where the pot plants reside is actually a grid - if you are standing near the middle of the room and looking out, the plants receive more water to the left, and more sun at the bottom. You need to follow the steps indicated on the disks:
- Find the plant that is just open and has spiky buds on the top. Move this to a position with 5/5 water and 3/5 sun. The plant will open and you can take out the ring-shaped seed.
- Find the plant that is completed closed. Move this to a position with 3/5 water and 1/5 sun. The plant will open and you can put the ring-shaped seed inside it so that it transforms.
- Move the same plant to a position with 4/5 water and 5/5 sun. The plant will open and you can take out the egg-shaped seed.
- Find the tall plant that has small round buds on the top. Move this to a position with 4/5 water and 1/5 sun. The plant will open and you can put the egg-shaped seed inside it so that it transforms.
- Move the same plant to a position with 1/5 water and 4/5 sun. The plant will open and you can take out the core-shaped seed.
- Find the only plant you haven't used yet. Move this to a position with 1/5 water and 1/5 sun. The plant will open and you can put the core-shaped seed inside it so that it transforms. Take out the triangular artifact.
Find a slot to insert this triangular artifact in a device around the edge of the room, and another puzzle will rise up. You need to find 3 positions to active different shaped lasers in order to neutralize all targets on this grid:
From left to right, activate the three lasers at positions 1, 2 and 3. Pick up the tablet (1/3) from the top of the puzzle. Next pick up the spherical star map that is on the ground just to the right. Head over to the star map puzzle, which has a slanted circular grid with 4 symbols on it. You need to use the star map to work out which symbols should be connected, then change the symbols on the puzzle to match:
- Top Left: Six dots connected with straight and wavy lines
- Top Right: Diamond in middle, surround by circle, then outer straight lines
- Bottom Left: Four arrows pointing outwards from central circle
- Bottom Right: Triangle in the middle with 3 curved blades around edge
Pick up another tablet (2/3). Now go to another puzzle around the outside of the room with a large diamond-shaped view of space. You need to keep moving the view around using the spherical control, then clicking to swap pieces of the view of space so they fit together properly. Once you are done, take the mysterious object.
Find a slot to insert this mysterious object in a device around the edge of the room, and another puzzle will rise up. You need to press the circles on the large tile at the top right so that the green laser passes through to the right:
Now pick up the final tablet (3/3). These three tablets need to be inserted into the 3 pillars near the middle of the room. Start with the one with overlapping discs. Insert this, then rotate the discs to recreate the triangular pattern shown at the top right. Next insert the tablet with the 5 round symbols at the bottom. You need to recreate the pattern at the right by pressing a series of buttons - if they are numbered 1-5 from left to right, press buttons 5, 4, 5. Now insert the final tablet. To recreate the pattern at the top right, just press buttons in the same shape at the bottom left of the tablet.
Insert the kinetic core into the middle of the machine, then after another transformation, pick up the mirror artifact. Looking through this, walk around the central core in an anti-clockwise direction to see a blue figure, with an archway behind him - look at the symbol over him (3 lines making a triangle) and press this shape on the outside of the core. Continue in the same direction to see a different triangular shape formed by 2 lines and a dot on the ground, then press this shape on the outside of the core. Continue further to see a blue figure with arms up beneath an archway. Look at the symbol (4 lines and a dot) on the archway behind him and press this too.
There are also 8 hidden tokens to find:
- Beneath the edge of the exit portal
- Inside the pot plant with black lower and red upper petals
- High up on the wall behind the pot plants (in a small circle)
- Transparent, floating in the air to the right of the pot plants
- Transparent, floating in the air behind the pot plants
- In a dot on the floor near the recycle bin
- On the floor just to the right of the recycle bin (need to locate using the mirror artifact)
- Up near the edge of the hole in the middle of the ceiling (need to locate using the mirror artifact)
The Cursed Treasure
Tavern
Go around to the far side of the bar to see the bust of Ricky in the wall. Examine the box of tiles, then arrange them so there are matching pairs together, and the slots carved in the tiles match with adjacent slots. Matching symbols are depicted below as matching colors:
Take out the puzzle wheel (1/4). Pick up the monkey toy from the nearby crate, then cross the room to the drummer box. Turn the handle on the monkey toy and pay attention to the pattern it plays. Pick up the 2 teeth from in front of the drummer toy, then examine it and insert them as follows:
Pull the handle on the side of the drummer box, then take another puzzle wheel (2/4). You can also pick up a puzzle wheel (3/4) from the bar. Open the chest beneath the large map on the wall to find the last puzzle wheel (4/4). Insert these into the gate leading to the bar area and rotate them to show N, S, E and W in the appropriate directions.
Take the paper from the bar, and look at the menu on the pillar outside the bar area. You need to go to each table and change the table numbers to match the food that is on the plates. You can change the numbers by pulling the handles over the tables:
- Table 1: Hook symbol
- Table 2: Tooth symbol
- Table 3: Barrel symbol
- Table 4: Rope symbol
Once these are all correct, pull the handle beneath the mermaid on the wall. Take the key from the mermaid's lantern. Use this to open the pantry door to the left of the bar. Inside the pantry, look at the Battleship puzzle in the shelving. You need to place all of the ships without any of them touching:
Take the 3 dice from the game once you have completed it. Put each of these into the dice tester on the wall and notice that they always land with the same face up. If you examine the dice you can see there is a small weight on the opposite side. Examine the small locked box in this room and enter the code 324 based on these weighted dice. Take the key from inside the box and insert it into the exit door.
Go behind the bar now and pick up the measuring mug from the shelves, and the paper from the front of one of the barrels. Now talk to the skeleton, who wants you to make him a series of 3 drinks. Pick up the 4 drink labels from the shelves behind the bar and place them on the correct kegs - from left to right they are mead, juice, grog and beer. Now you need to make his 3 drinks:
- Bubbling Mix
Use the measuring mug on mead and then on juice. Give it to the skeleton and he will raise 1 finger.
- Double Shot of Grog
Use the measuring mug on grog twice. Give it to the skeleton and he will raise a second finger.
- Mixture of Mead and Beer
Use the measuring mug on mead and then on juice. Give it to the skeleton and he will let you take the key.
Go and insert the key in the exit door. Pick up the box and the gem from the left low shelves behind the bar. Pick up another gem from the window ledge to the left of the large map. Insert both gems below the map. Examine the note on the box you just picked up, which mentions the biggest catch of the tavern. Turn around to see the Horned Whale skeleton hanging over the bar. Now look at the map and locate this creature, which is at GC-24. Open the box with this code and take out the 3 seals and medallion from inside.
Go behind the bar again and look at the small wall opposite the gate. Insert the 3 seals here (helm on left, rope in middle, anchor on right). You need to gradually fill in the grid with the correct symbols, as shown on the medallion. Here is a series of steps showing one way to complete the puzzle. In each case start from position A and drag carefully in alphabetical order through the points indicated. If two letters in order aren't adjacent, make sure you go back through only the current color to reach the next letter.
Take the key and insert it into the exit door. Now grab the note from the notice board to the left of the bar. There is also a note beneath the portrait next to the map. By paying attention to everything else throughout the level you can work out the names of each of the pirates in the portraits:
- Henry the Menace: On the stairs, symbol of a goblet
- Jack the Snake: To the left of the stairs, symbol of coins
- Ricky the Worthy: To the right of the map, symbol of shovels
- John the Rat: To the right of the bar, symbol of a cannon
Pay attention to the arrows in the corners of the 4 symbols beneath the portraits. Go to the chest to the right of the stairs and open it with these 4 symbols:
- Top Left: Shovels
- Top Right: Coins
- Bottom Left: Cannon
- Bottom Right: Goblet
Take out the final key and insert it into the exit door. Examine it again and rotate right, right, left, right and left to insert it fully and open the door.
There are also 8 hidden tokens to find:
- In the mouth of the Horned Whale skeleton over the bar
- On the ceiling over the stairs
- On the hilt of John's famous sabre, hanging on the wall
- On the side of the wooden pillar just left of the map
- On the floor behind the potted lemon tree in the corner
- Hanging by a short rope over the left side of the bar (as seen from behind the bar)
- Inside a bottle on the top left shelf behind the bar (break the bottle to find it)
- On the side of the dice tester on the wall of the pantry
Pirate Ship
Look at the locked chest on the deck to the right and grab the paper stuck to the wood behind it. Now look down through the iron bars at the barrels below. You will see a series of 4 barrels with letters and red arrows. Using the grid on the paper, you need to start from each of the letters with arrows and read the appropriate row or column number:
- GO(L)D Left: 6
- CO(I)N Left: 1
- G(R)OG Up: 2
- G(E)MS Up: 3
Open the chest with the combination 6123. Take out the 8 cannonballs from inside the chest. Now look at the locked chest on the deck to the left, which has a grid of line-based symbols. If you turn to the right from the chest, you can turn a wheel to adjust the relative positions of 4 ropes. Adjust them until you see 1, 2 and 3 lines all lined up on the left 3 ropes. Now the pattern of lines you see across the ropes will match the pattern on the chest and you can fill in the settings to unlock the chest:
- Top Row: 2 lines
- Middle Row: 3 lines
- Bottom Row: 1 line, 1 line over a box
Open the chest and take out the key. Use this key on the lock in the main mast. Turn the wheel far to the left and you will lower a hook down into the water. Turn the wheel back to the right to raise it up, then go and grab the old chest from the hook. Examine this and lift the 4 latches in the correct order to spell out the word RUNE (2nd, 4th, 3rd, 1st). Open the chest and take out 2 runes, then pick up another one from the top of a nearby barrel.
Look at the large wall of symbols. Drag the glowing section down to the right until you find a position where the 2 glowing symbols are over matching symbols.
You need to recreate the pattern of 5 symbols on the cannon that is pointing at the Kraken in the water. Two of the symbols are already present, and you must add your 3 runes to complete the pattern, rotating the segments on the cannon as needed. Load a cannonball into the cannon and you will hit the creature so that it moves to the other side of the ship.
Now that you can reach the next part of the ship, collect a total of 7 weapons (2 inside a box, 2 on the deck, 1 on a barrel, and 2 inserted in the sides of a barrel). You now need to insert all 7 of them into the barrel - at each location, find the longest weapon that slides all the way into the hole. Once they are all inserted, the barrel will open and you can take a rune from inside. Grab another rune from an open crate nearby.
Examine the locked chest here. There are 4 symbols, and then some wavy line patterns that you need to match to them. Look up at the ropes and you will see patterns of each of the 4 symbols from the chest. Match up the arrangements of the symbols with the wavy lines on the chest to open it. These are the patterns:
Take the final 2 runes from inside the chest. Also pick up the key and metal rings from near the base of the broken stairs. Go and place the metal rings on the large wall of symbols. Drag it down to the left until you find a position where the 2 glowing symbols are over matching symbols:
Add the key to the top of the second cannon and it will transform. Now add your 4 runes to the cannon to match the pattern of symbols on the wall. Load a cannonball into the cannon and you will hit the creature so that it moves back to the other side of the ship.
Make your way through to the captain's cabin. Take a paper from inside the right lower desk drawer. Head back outside and stand near the back of the second cannon, then turn to face the captain's cabin. Hold up the paper you just found and line it up with the lanterns that contain letters, paying attention to which ones are connected by lines. Return into the cabin and look at the lock on the cabinet door. Press buttons that were connected by lines:
Open the cabinet and take out a key (1/5). Search the top drawer of the chest of drawers to get another key (2/5). Grab the next key (3/5) from the low bookcase on the opposite side of the room. Also take the 2 "Posing for Defense" papers and examine them. Pick up the combat box on top of the bookcase, which has 4 sides to adjust, based on the papers you just collected:
- Side 1: Front arm bottom, rear arm bottom
- Side 2: Front arm bottom, rear arm top
- Side 3: Front arm top, rear arm top
- Side 4: Front arm top, rear arm middle
Once the box opens, take another key (4/5) from inside. Look inside the box on the ground to find the final key (5/5). Move all of the items off the desk so you can see it clearly. Examine the globe in the corner of the room, which has 5 key symbols on it. You need to insert keys into the desk in matching positions, marked in gold below:
Take the runic cannonball out of the desk drawer that opens. Go and load this into the cannon pointing at the Kraken to shoot it again. Now you can climb up the stairs to the top landing. Grab the map and read it carefully. Use the large lever to the right of the helm to start moving the ship. Now follow these directions:
- Turn the ship to point to the lit buoys in the distance.
- Once it starts raining, turn the wheel counter-clockwise until you are pointing north (confirm with the compass to the left).
- Once you are within a green mist, turn the wheel counter-clockwise until you are pointing east (confirm with the compass to the left).
- Ring the large bell behind you 3 times.
- Once the ship appears, use the wheel to keep following the ship.
There are also 8 hidden tokens to find:
- At the base of the mermaid statue to the left of the wall of symbols
- At the top of the mast over the wall of symbols
- In the sea just in front of the second cannon
- On the floor of the cargo hold with the barrels
- On the inner side of the left bottom drawer of the captain's desk
- On the unbroken window of the captain's cabin look out to the deck
- In the hook on the painting in the captain's cabin
- On the skylight behind in the bell on the upper landing
Island
Go over to the door with the criss-cross pattern on it. Label the various bars as follows:
From the starting position, make these moves:
- Slide A up
- Slide 3 left (and out)
- Slide A down
- Slide B up
- Slide 2 right (and out)
- Slide C down (and out)
- Slide A up (and out)
- Slide B down
- Slide 1 left (and out)
- Slide B up (and out)
Take out the ancient device (1/2) and move it over near the cliff edge. Next look at the 4 snake statues that you can carry around. Each of them has a distinguishing feature, and should be placed on a platform with a similar feature:
- Forked tongue
- Broken pillar
- No eyes
- Normal
Once these are all in place, a large pillar will rise up from the middle. There are 2 sliding pieces (red and blue) that you can move around the pillar. Look up to the wooden signs above you to see where you need to get them to reach. For the red piece, bring it all the way to the bottom and them back up to its final place. For the blue piece, bring it up towards the top to its final place. Once you are done, take the blue gem, and the pillar will disappear again.
Go over to the central platform and insert the blue gem to extend another bridge. On the next platform, there is a locked chest with 3 symbols, and a journal you can pick up. There are also 4 tall brown pillars - 3 of them have the same symbols at the top of them, and the 4th is the calibration pillar. Look through the telescope at the calibration pillar and adjust the view-piece so you can see one of the symbols clearly. Now look at the pillar with that symbol at the top - somewhere lower on that pillar there will be a complete image. This is the image to select for that symbol on the chest. Repeat this with the other 2 pillars, then open the chest:
- Shell: 2 dots on the left, T-piece in middle, 2 dots on the right
- Turtle: Rectangle on the left, 2 dots on the right
- Star: 3 dots on the left, large reverse C-shaped on the right
Inside the chest, take the red gem and a gemstone (1/4). Go over to the central platform and insert the red gem to extend another bridge. On the next platform, you can pick up a journal, a fishing pole, a crowbar and a plank. Look at the chest with 3 dials and 3 small skulls. Rotate each of the dials until its associated skull pops up, then rotate it another 180 degrees. You can work this out by looking at the same mechanism on the small opened safe. Once the chest is open, take out the key and a stone key (1/4). Use the crowbar on the closed crate, then take out the ancient device (2/2). Carry this back to the first cliff. There is a large rotating platform in the ground - each ancient device causes a different part of this to rotate. Line up all 3 concentric discs, and the center will open. Insert your key here, then take the gunpowder.
Go to the central platform and insert the stone key in the middle, which will raise up another box just to the side. Pick up another gemstone (2/4) from next to where you inserted the stone key. After reading the journal that was next to the fishing line, pick a yellow flower from one of the islands. Put this on your fishing line, then cast it into the water to the left of the first bridge (over the ropes, near the gears below the raised box). Examine the shell you catch and remove the mysterious flower. Load this onto the fishing line, then cast it off the other side of the first bridge, into deeper water. Examine the crab you catch and remove the golden key.
Cross over the blue gem bridge and use the golden key on the temple door here to open it. Inside, talk to the parrot about all 3 items and you will get instructions about them. Move the treasure (T), barrel (B) and cannon (C) to the positions indicated:
Take out 2 gemstones. Go out to the box that you raised up earlier. Examine the plank you got from the 3rd platform, which indicates the order in which you will need to press the gems. Given their appearance, the look vaguely like this: snake, creature, snake, sun, snake, sun, beetle. Insert the gems into the box in this order: creature, snake, sun, bug. Now drag the slider to the symbols in the order from the plank.
Take a metal disk (1/4) from inside the box when it opens. Pick up another metal disk (2/4) from behind the skull chest you opened earlier. You can find another metal disk (3/4) in the bushes to the right after crossing the blue gem bridge. The final metal disk (4/4) is in the bushes to the right of the closed temple door where you started. The locations of these disks were outlined in the first journal you collected.
Go to the 3rd platform and insert the 4 metal disks into the slots in the ground. 4 pillars will rise up. You need to adjust these so that when you use the trigger, all 4 darts end up hitting targets. The back left pillar cannot be moved far, but the others can be swapped around. Swap the positions of the near left and near right pillars, then arrange them as follows:
Use the trigger and the door will open if all 4 targets have been hit. Head inside to find the final puzzle. You need to use your gunpowder pouch to spread gunpowder over paths from the lighter so that the flame reaches all 4 targets at the same time. Spread the gunpowder over the paths indicated below:
Now use the lighter to start a flame. The explosion will open the exit.
There are also 8 hidden tokens to find:
- Beneath the barrel near the snake puzzle (move the barrel)
- Above the high flat stone over the first temple door near the snake puzzle
- On the floor of the first bridge with the rope
- On the sea bed behind the box that was raised up, next to a starfish
- In the room with the parrot, looking out from the room it is on the left door frame
- Behind where you inserted the red gem
- Inside the closed crate near the snake puzzle (open it with the crowbar)
- Inside one of the empty hollows in the final room
Hideout
Walk over the bridge and you will fall down. Collect 3 spears. Now you need to insert them in the grid on the wall based on the appearance of the speared skulls in the other part of the room:
- Insert one horizontally near the top, from the left side (through the sun skull)
- Insert one diagonally down to the right, from mid way up the left side (through the horned skull)
- Insert one diagonally up to the right, from the bottom left corner
Take out the temple part (1/4). Now go and examine the rotating blocks, which control the ladder. Number the blocks 1-5 from top to bottom, and the ladder segments 1-5 from top to bottom. Rotate the blocks as follows:
- Rotate block 5 until ladder segment 3 faces forward
- Rotate block 1 until ladder segment 5 faces forward
- Rotate block 2 until ladder segment 1 faces forward
- Rotate block 4 until ladder segment 2 faces forward
- Rotate block 3 until ladder segment 4 faces forward
Now you can climb up the ladder to the main floor. Cross the room and examine the snake puzzle on the wall. You need to connect the snake heads to the snake tails. The snakes will only extend when there is a narrow path; any wider gaps will stop them. Once the puzzle is complete, take the lever. Use this in the opening in the corner of the room, then pull the lever to lower a cage containing a skeleton.
Next look at the large drawing on the wall which shows someone walking between pairs of animals. You need to recreate this path by walking between different animal symbols in the middle of the room. Go between the following pairs of animals, and you will see the path updated on the wall:
- Frog and Rabbit
- Frog and Elephant
- Elephant and Cat
- Eagle and Cat
- Frog and Rabbit
- Elephant and Rabbit
- Eagle and Rabbit
- Frog and Cat
Pick up the snake tile (1/4) from the floor, and another temple part (2/4) from the pillar that lowers down. Open the chest and take out a maze tile (1/6) and a treasure map. Look to the right to see a ship with 4 buttons beneath it. You need to guide the ship to the treasure by looking at the various paths on the map and the different lines used to draw them. From the starting position (which you can work out by trial and error), press on these buttons to reach the treasure:
- Solid
- Dotted
- Dashed
- Dotted
- Dashed and Dotted
Grab the next temple part (3/4). Go and pick up the final temple part (4/4) from the floor near the ladder. Insert all of these into the temple model, then take the spyglass. Stand near the middle of the room and look at the wall with the hand symbol surrounded by blocks that you can rotate. Adjust your spyglass so the same hand symbol is displayed in the middle, then hold it up to see which 5 blocks are marked. Go over and rotate these blocks:
Go through the new door once it opens, and you will find yourself in a grassy courtyard with 3 large stone pillars. When you pull these pillars around you make the lengths of their ropes longer or shorter. You need to make the ropes long enough so the markers on the control column rise up to the marked positions. Follow these steps:
- Move the tallest pillar to the middle position on the ground.
- Move the medium pillar around behind the tallest pillar, then over to the right position on the ground.
- Move the shortest pillar around both of the other two, then over to the left position on the ground.
- Shuffle the pillars around slightly to find a working final position.
Take the next snake tile (2/4) from the opened compartment. Return to the main room and pick up a maze tile (2/6) from the floor in front of the animal path image. Grab another maze tile (3/6) from the plant just to the left of the temple model. Now head over to the puzzle in front of the maze on the wall and pick up the final 3 maze tiles (6/6). Now you need to select the 3 maze tiles that correspond to correct paths on the maze on the wall:
- Going from the upper left side entry to the lower right side exit
- Going from the left bottom entry to the right bottom exit
- Going from the right top entry to the right bottom exit
Place these 3 maze tiles in the slots, then pick up another snake tile (3/4). Go over to the snake tile puzzle on the wall and take the final snake tile (4/4). The goal with this puzzle is to arrange the tiles so that each snake head is connected to a snake tail. You can flip the tiles by pressing the buttons below. Once you have solved the puzzle with 4 tiles, you will have access to another 2 tiles and must solve a harder puzzle. Solving the second puzzle opens another doorway.
In this final room, there are 6 pedestals, each belonging to one of the pirate skeletons throughout the level. You need to work out the order in which they were killed. Pick up the ghost lantern and carry it around the level to find the 6 skeletons. For each one, take an object from the skeleton, and use the ghost lantern to see their final words:
- Pendant: Big sword for such a little man. Go ahead... Do your worst...
- Sword: For a one-eyed devil ye've got a deadly aim... Ugh...
- Glass Eye: Wood knocking on wood... I'd recognize those footsteps a mile away...
- Peg Leg: I'd recognize that shiny smile anywhere. Come at me traitor!
- Golden Teeth: I gave you my oath, you have me your hook. Rot alone now.
- Hook: I am the last of my crew. All drive to murder and betrayal by this accurs'd treasure.
Go back to the final room and place the 6 objects on the 6 pedestals, in the order shown above.
You will get your last trophy and an achievement if you received all trophies Get All Trophies.
There are also 8 hidden tokens to find, with an achievement for finding all tokens in all available levels Token Completionist:
- Hanging from a rope over the bridge that collapses
- On the middle of the roof over the central area (look from the bridge)
- In a candle holder on a bridge near the one-eyed skeleton
- On the image of an eagle on the pillar nearest to the ship puzzle
- In the vines to the right of the cage you lowered
- Over the flame in the temple model
- On the ground below the column the ropes come out from
- In the hands of the skeleton that held the sword
Extra Rooms
Christmas Eve
Look at the notice board just inside the front door to see the list of tasks you need to achieve to complete the level. Start by finding a series of 6 red books:
- On the bench beneath the notice board
- In the bottom of the opposite low wooden cabinet
- In the bottom of the long table in the living room
- On the coffee table in the living room
- Beneath one of the lamps in the dining room
- In the red stand in the shelves beneath the elves in the living room
Now place all of them in the red stand in the shelves in order from 1-6 and you will be able to read a word. Open the combination lock in the dining room with the word SNOW. Open the top cupboards to find 3 glasses (3/5). Also open the bottom cupboards to find a bottle of juice (1/5) and a piece of train track (1/3). While you are here, look in the right side of the tall side cupboard to find 2 glasses (5/5). You can place the 5 glasses on the table.
Pick up the wish list from the coffee table in the living room. Pick up the 5 presents beneath the Christmas tree and open them all. By a process of elimination you can work out which present is meant for each child:
- Mathilde: Art supplies (red/white dot)
- Tony: Remote control car (reindeer)
- Veronica: Xylophone (tree)
- Konrad: Dinosaur (star)
- Paul: Toy car (blue/white dots)
On the combination lock next to the Christmas tree, swap the buttons so each child's initial is matched with the correct wrapping paper. Open the low cupboards and take another piece of train track (2/3) from inside. Pick up the final piece of train track (3/3) from the long table in the living room. Look up and place your 3 pieces of train track in the gaps in the track running around the living room, then press the red train button. Wait for the train to pass around the track, and it will knock down the box at the end so you can pick it up. Open the box to get a plate (1/5).
Find a puzzle box in the bottom of the long table in the living room. By trial and error, you can work out the order to pres the 5 buttons:
Take out the mouse trap. Read the MousLock pamphlet on the coffee table. Put the mouse trap in the path of the mouse on the floor then walk towards it to get it to move. Once it is trapped, pick it up and take the key from its back.
Open the grandfather clock in the dining room and take out the note. Look around the rooms for groups of pictures in the same shapes as those shown on the note - each contains a number. Find another combination lock in the dining room and open it with the code 5792. Open the cupboard to find a plate (2/5) and a bottle of juice (2/5).
Back out in the living room, find an advent calendar in the shape of a large white building. You need to open the windows in a path from 1-24 as follows:
The drawer below will open, and you can take out 3 forks (3/5) and 3 knives (3/5).
Pick up some firewood from near the Christmas tree, from the floor of the dining room, and from the right of the fireplace. Put all 3 pieces into the fireplace. Now grab the ThermoLock from a window ledge in the living room and hold it in front of the fire to open the key. Use this on the doors to the kitchen, then open the doors.
Use your MousLock key on the lock on the fridge. Open the fridge and take out the turkey. Also open the freezer at the bottom and take out the frozen juice. Next open the glass cupboard just to the right of the fridge and take out a key. Use this key on the lock on the opposite drawer. Open the drawer to find a fork (4/5) and a knife (4/5). Go back out to the dining room and look on the side cupboard to find the last fork (5/5) and knife (5/5). You can now place all of these on the table.
Go out to the fireplace and put the frozen juice on the floor near the fire, then pick up the juice (3/5).
Return to the kitchen and look at the note on the cupboards to the left. Take the red nutcracker from the central island bench. Move the pot plant on the side bench and place the red nutcracker here to open the drawer beneath. Take out 3 plates (5/5). Return to the dining room and put all of these on the table.
Take the sheet music from the table, then look at the toy piano in the corner of the dining room. You need to play the start of the song by hitting these notes: EEE, EEE, EGCDE. Take out another bottle of juice (4/5). Next look at the framed floor plan on the wall in the dining room, which has 5 crosses marked on it. You need to find 5 red buttons as marked here and press them in order:
- In a drawer beneath the elves near the Christmas tree
- In the cupboard to the right of the floor plans in the dining room
- In the high part of the other cupboard in the dining room
- On the low part of the wall near the telephone in the living room
- In the cupboard near the front door
The other door in the cupboard near the front door will open so you can get the last bottle of juice (5/5). Go and place these on the dining table.
Look carefully at the elves near the Christmas tree to see they are pointing in different directions along a path from one to the next. Go to the kitchen and find a direction lock on the oven. Open this lock by moving the central portion in these directions: right, down, left, up, left, down. Open the oven and put the turkey inside, then turn the power knob on the oven. Once the turkey is cooked, take it back out of the oven and put it on the dining table.
Now you need to collect a series of 5 leaflet parts from around the house:
- On the cupboard near the front door
- Next to the advent calendar house in the living room
- On the left end of the long table in the living room
- On the coffee table in the living room
- Near the toy piano in the dining room
Put these all together with the rest of the leaflet on the long table in the living room, and you will see a phone number for cookie delivery. Use the phone in the corner of the room to dial the number 458-1188, but the road is blocked with snow.
Back in the kitchen, grab the note from the left fridge door. Look out the kitchen window to see a road cleaning service van with another phone number. Use the phone in the living room to dial the number 313-4000. Now wait until you see that the road has been cleaned. Dial the number 458-1188 again and request cookie delivery. While you are waiting for the delivery, go to the stockings hanging over the fireplace. You need to pull these in the order indicated in the note from the fridge:
Take the money from the small drawer that opens. When the cookie delivery arrives, go to the front door and give the money to the delivery person, then take the cookie box. Go to the dining room and put the cookie box on top of the small tray that already has a few cookies.
There are also 8 hidden tokens to find:
- On the edge of the stair leading up to the front door
- Near the top of the Christmas tree
- On the window ledge behind the Christmas tree
- Inside the phone in the living room (dial TOKEN - 8666553366)
- On the side of the table holding the toy piano in the dining room
- Inside the toy piano (just keep pressing G until it appears)
- Inside the fridge in the kitchen
- In a hidden drawer in the kitchen (put the blue nutcracker on a bench tile just to the right of the oven)
Darkest Puzzles
These are accessed by interacting with the large dark stone in the lobby. They provide more challenging versions of one puzzle from each normal scenario. There is an achievement for solving one Into the Dark, and another for solving them all Dark Master.
Dracula's Castle: Courtyard
You need to determine whether each of the statements is a lie or truth, and indicate this with the rotating signs beneath them:
- Half of us lie, half tell the truth: Lie
- There is only one liar amongst us: Lie
- Everyone but me is a liar: Lie
- Most of us tell the truth: Lie
- Most of us are Liars: Truth
- At least two of us are liars: Truth
Dracula's Castle: Feast
You need to move the shapes around so that each colored kingdom has a King, a Queen and a Princess. Move the shapes into the following positions:
Dracula's Castle: Sweet Dreams
Approach the wall. For each pillar, look down at the reflection in the floor and you will see that one of the symbols is a Roman numeral. Set the four dials to 2, 3, 5 and 6.
Dracula's Castle: Crypt
Pick up the mysterious eye - you can use this to look at the images on the left and right to remind yourself of the different symbols. Now create the following 4 rules:
- Star left and right of two moons
- Tree below star
- Key below man
- Sword right of key
Also in this puzzle, you can turn the torch on the wall upside down. Now search the right side of the building (around the corner) to find a dark token on the wall.
The Lost Starship: Hibernation Pods
To solve this puzzle you need to drag the move and rotate commands to the various slots around the edge of the puzzle, to uncover the underlying glowing shapes. Place the commands in these positions in order from 1-4:
The Lost Starship: Bridge
You need to assign numbers to the cells (0 or 1) so that the red markers correctly indicate the total of the values in the surrounding cells:
The Lost Starship: Cargo Hold
Pick up the notepad to see the rules for storage of the various chemicals. Now pick up the containers and insert them following these rules. This is one solution:
The Lost Starship: Into the Unknown
You need to move the 8 pieces around the board to create the correct overlapping silhouettes. The board layout is as follows:
Put the following pieces in positions 1-8 on the board:
- Vertical pyramid
- Horizontal pyramid
- Pillars (large one at bottom right)
- Pillars (large one at top left)
- Cylinder
- Horizontal pyramid
- Cube
- Pillars (large one at bottom left)
The Cursed Treasure: Tavern
This puzzle requires you to gradually fill in the grid with the correct symbols, as shown in the note that you can pick up. You need to do one color at a time, and there is some backtracking to fill it all in correctly. Here is a series of steps showing one way to complete the puzzle. In each case start from position A and drag carefully in alphabetical order through the points indicated. If two letters in order aren't adjacent, make sure you go back through only the current color to reach the next letter.
The Cursed Treasure: Pirate Ship
Pick up the 8 keys from the crate. Examine the globe, which shows the relative positions of the 8 keys (the bottom of the globe is at the top of the table). You need to match these to the relative positions of the locks on the flat table and insert the keys in the appropriate positions:
The Cursed Treasure: Island
Pick up the gunpowder pouch. You must spread gunpowder over paths from the lighter so that the flame reaches all 4 targets at the same time. You will need to lower the platforms on the left side. Spread the gunpowder over the paths indicated below:
Now use the lighter to start a flame.
The Cursed Treasure: Hideout
In this puzzle you need to connect the snake head on the left to the tail at the top, and the snake head on the right to the tail on the left. The snakes will only extend when there is a narrow path; any wider gaps will stop them.
Extra Rooms: Christmas Eve
Pick up each of the 8 presents from the base of the Christmas tree and open them all. Now go over to the table and pick up the wish list. By a process of elimination you can work out which present is meant for each child:
- Amy: Toy car (second smallest dot)
- Bob: Remote control truck (largest dot)
- Cal: Cat (second largest dot)
- Dan: Piano (smallest dot)
- Eve: Remote control car (plain green)
- Fia: Dinosaur (red/yellow star)
- Gus: Shark (green tree)
- Hal: Xylophone (blue snow flakes)
On the cash register, swap the buttons so each child's initial is matched with the correct wrapping paper.
Lobby Secrets
Once you have completed any of the main scenarios, you can wear premium outfits that have been unlocked by using the mirror in the lobby Dressed to Impress.
Beneath your trophy cabinet in the lobby there are 7 locks that you need to open. Three of these are related to a hint in Latin written around the portal in the lobby, which translates to "High above, from deep caves to ancient worlds, the morning star lights your path. Look within and it will reveal the way."
Top Left Lock
Go back to the Sweet Dreams level. Out on the balcony, go to the far left and then look into the left-most part of the night sky to see a red star. Zoom in directly on this and wait until you see a message in Latin, which translates to "The key to the eastern star has been discovered. I found it in the vestibule." When you return to the lobby, the key will be on the trophy cabinet.
Middle Left Lock
Go back to the Into the Unknown level. Walk around and look at the ground through the mirror artifact. Follow the path until you see a small star symbol, then use the mirror artifact to look through the right side of the archway straight ahead. Hold the mirror artifact up with the first mouse button, then zoom in on the red star and wait until you see a message in Latin, which translates to "The key to the eastern star has been discovered. I found it in the vestibule." When you return to the lobby, the key will be on the trophy cabinet.
Bottom Left Lock
Go back to the Hideout level. Enter the grassy courtyard and look up to the sky above. Move around until you can see a red star in the sky. Zoom in directly on this and wait until you see a message in Latin, which translates to "The key to the eastern star has been discovered. I found it in the vestibule." When you return to the lobby, the key will be on the trophy cabinet.
Top Right Lock
Solve the first jigsaw puzzle on the wall (you must have found all 32 tokens from the Dracula's Castle levels ). A combination lock will be revealed beneath the puzzle. Look at the puzzle to see symbols on books running in a spiral. You need to find these matching symbols on books in the bookshelves in the lobby to work out their numerical values. Enter the code 469593 and take the key.
Middle Right Lock
Solve the second jigsaw puzzle on the wall (you must have found all 32 tokens from The Lost Starship levels). A combination lock will be revealed beneath the puzzle. Look at the puzzle to see chess pieces one strings dangling from letters. In addition the signature at the bottom of the puzzle says "square root of Albus x Ater", which means the square root of White times Black.
Go to the chess board near the fire and place the black and white pieces on the board in the positions indicated (column based on the letters holding the strings, row based on the vertical positions of the pieces in the puzzle):
The white pieces are in the shape of the number 7, and the black pieces are in the shape of the number 3. The square root of 21 is approximately 4.58257, so enter this code and take the key.
Bottom Right Lock
Solve the third jigsaw puzzle on the wall (you must have found all 32 tokens from The Cursed Treasure levels). This will show you a series of stacked items. Go and find each of them in the room, and you should spot a hidden pattern on the side. If you stack these patterns on top of each other in the same order as the picture you will be able to see a 6-digit number. Enter the code 536275 and take the key.
Central Lock
After solving all of the Darkest Puzzles, a key will be revealed in front of the large dark stone.
Once all the keys are in place, a side compartment will open and you can take out a book. Go and insert this into the empty place in the right bookshelf to open another secret passage. Interact with the portal at the end of this room to enter The Temple.
The Temple
You will find yourself in a large circular room. There are lots of statues scattered around the room in different poses. There are 8 large canvases with partial sketches and golden rings on them - these rings indicate roughly where statues should be placed to recreate the scenes depicted in the final paintings. There are also plaques beneath each canvas, which are encoded versions of the respective painters' names (using a substitution cipher).
Each section below relates to one of the canvases. The name of the artist and name of the painting is listed so you can look up the original. There is also a top-down layout of the statues, and the numbers below describe the statues you must move into each position.
You can complete these in any order, but they are shown below in a clockwise order around the room. Each time you have all the statues correct for a canvas, they will rotate into the correct alignment and the flames in front of the canvas will turn blue.
