DEDALO is a first-person puzzle adventure set amongst ancient Arctic ruins. The previous game by the same developer is VENARI. You are sent to investigate a new discovery of a lost civilization, but what you uncover is more than initially anticipated.

Antarctica

Walk between the stone pillars and examine a puzzle with 3 discs on the left wall. Rotate the discs so their patterns match the background symbols and the gate will open. Continue forward and look at a large tablet on the ground to the left. Take note of the symbols that have markings over them and are in the first, second and third positions in their groupings. Now approach a puzzle to the right of the next gate and press the symbols in this order: Right, Left, Middle. Go through the next gate.

In the open area ahead, there is a closed door with 4 colored circles, and there is a platform with 4 rocks that you need to insert in holders. Each rock has a symbol and the order is based on the circles on the door. Insert the rocks from left to right as follows:

  • White: Snowflake
  • Blue: Icicles
  • Orange: Sun
  • Green: Tree

Head through the tunnel.

Temple

Pick up a tile from the ground on the left, then look at the 5 icicles on the ground. Approach the panel to the side of the next door and adjust the switches so they are tilting up, down, up, up and down (to match the icicles). Go through into the temple. Approach the puzzle in the middle of the room and you will automatically add your missing tile. Insert the tiles to complete a magic square:

New World

Walk forward and you will discover a round puzzle on the left stone wall. Add the 2 and 3 stones in the blank spaces, then continue through the opened door. Look at the image on the large stone to the right. Turn left and examine the puzzle on the wooden fence pillar. You need to display the symbols as shown on the rock, following a path from the outside to the middle. From the starting position, rotate each part of the puzzle this number of times:

Explore over to the left and pick up a torn note (right half). Go through the opened wooden gate and head up the stairs. Look to the right and pick up a torn note (left half). Go around the deck to the door and press the buttons according to the symbols on the top of the torn note halves: Left, Right, Left, Right, Right, Right. Enter the building and examine the symbols on the bottom of the painting on the left wall. Now approach the box on the table and press the matching symbols: Dash, Dash, Dash, Dot, Dash, Dash, Dot, Dot, Dash, Dot. Once the box opens, take out the rusty metal object.

Go back down the steps and through the wooden gate, then over to a small puzzle on the right. Insert the 4 rusty metal pieces and the large gate will open. Before going through, take note of a small panel on the ground to the left of the gate. Now go forward and up the path. Look at the sign post - you need to identify the 5 symbols based on the order from the small panel you just saw. Keep going up to the next large gate. Press the small buttons near the ground in this order:

Go back to the door that has opened. Directly opposite, pick up a paper note from the ground. Now head through the gate and up the stairs. Press the buttons next to the door according to the symbols on the bottom of the paper note: Left, Right, Right, Right, Left, Left. Go inside and look at the 3 containers with symbols on the sides. Look on one of the pillars to the right to see a small device with 3 coins. Place the coins in positions from top to bottom based on how full the matching containers are. Go through the next open door to a balcony, where you can pick up a number dial.

Return outside the building and go down the stairs. Look at the large numbers on the wall here, then examine the small puzzle on the side of the building. Each number in the puzzle equals the sum of the two numbers below. Adjust the numbers as follows:

Go inside and approach the puzzle on the opposite wall. You need to insert the symbols into the bottom-right grid. Each symbol should be placed in a position it cannot be found in the other 3 grids. Head through the door that opens to the left. In the next room, look at the two pictures on the wall, which show the positions of 6 vases. Repeat this layout with the physical vases on the opposite wall. Now you can continue outside to a courtyard. Go around to the right and pick up a 20kg ancient stone weight. Go around to the pyramid and you will read the plaque below. Now head to the next doorway to see another puzzle. This shows the Fibonacci sequence, so drag the numbers to the large tiles at the bottom showing the numbers 13 and 21.

Go inside and look around to the right to see 2 wooden pillars with 4 and 7 metal studs. Examine the weights puzzle and place weights that add up to 47 on the platforms (7, 16, 24). Head down through the trapdoor.

Gray Tunnels

Examine the plaques on the left wall to work out the numerical values for each symbol. Approach the controls and enter the code 132, then go through the gate. Go to the far end of this tunnel and you will see 2 sets of controls on the right. Examine the number puzzle first - each number in the puzzle equals the product of the two numbers below. Press the numbers to enter the top value of 7200. Look at the symbols that appear below the puzzle. Now move to the levers and adjust them to the following: Down, Down, Up.

Continue ahead and you will reach the next closed gate. Look at the puzzle to the left of the gate - here you need to drag the bars to match up two halves of each picture:

Make your way forward and climb half way up the stairs, then look at the windows to the right - there is a line drawn around the windows here. Now continue up to the door and examine the controls to the left. Press the buttons in the order that the line was drawn: Up, Right, Down, Right, Up. Enter the house and look at the 5 symbols on the opposite wall - there are small lines above each of them. Go out to the balcony to see 5 stones on the floor - each of these has a matching symbol to the ones on the wall, and the lines above those symbols indicate which of the smaller symbols to use from the stones. Go back inside and examine the puzzle in the middle of the room. Drag the appropriate discs to the empty spaces:

Turn around to the puzzle on the opposite wall and press the buttons that have the matching number of dots: 9276. Enter the new small room and look at the symbols on the wall, as well as the numbers of lines beneath each of them. Next Look around to find 4 large jugs, each showing a flower with a number of petals, and a number of rings around the outside. Go to the opposite closed gate with a combination lock and and a code based on these jugs: 3354.

Enter the new room and pick up an engraved stone totem from the window ledge. Go out to the hallway and add this to the other stone totems. Now put the totems in positions based on the symbols you saw on the wall earlier:

This will open the final door, but you need to open the trapdoor. There was a picture on the wall upstairs that showed 4 symbols at the points of a cross. After examining that, come back downstairs and enter the room with the table. Arrange the pots so the symbols match the positions on that picture:

Orange Tunnels

Examine the puzzle on the left wall - rotate the cogs so there is a visible ring throughout the middle of the puzzle, and the door ahead will open. Now go to the puzzle and press the buttons in this order: 514. Look outside and pay attention to the symbol on the flag. Go back down 2 flights of stairs. Examine the statue here - there is a pattern you can trace from the starting green position to the ending red position. Go to the door and look at the 4 buttons. If they are numbered 1-4 from left to right, press them in this order: 432143. Now look at the bridge outside. You need to press the floor segments to match the symbol on the flag from earlier. Press the black symbols on the layout below:

Cross over the bridge then turn around and look at the line drawn on the building behind you. Approach the next door and press the buttons in the order that the line was drawn: Down, Left, Down, Right, Down. Go through the door into the second tower. Examine the puzzle on the wall - just slot the stone pieces into the matching holes and you will create a series of images displaying shapes. Go to the next area and press the buttons according to the number of lines used to draw the shapes you just saw: 13414. Head out to the next bridge.

Examine the puzzle next to the door on this bridge. You need to show the life cycle of a tree by placing the tiles in order from left to right:

  1. Seed
  2. Sapling
  3. Leaf
  4. Flower
  5. Tree

Go through the door and head down the stairs, paying attention to the images on the walls as you descend, which reflect sunset, night, sunrise and day. The larger image at the bottom indicates that curved symbols refer to the top button, and square symbols to the bottom one. You need to press the buttons in the order of sunrise, day, sunset and night: Bottom, Bottom, Top, Top, Top, Bottom, Bottom, Top.

Go outside, then turn around and look at the 4 symbols above the doorway you came out. Now approach the next building and place the stones in the same order. Enter the temple. Look at the 4 symbols on the wall, which represent tree, sun, fire and water. Approach the balls in the middle of the room and place them in this order: Green, Yellow, Red, Blue.
