Your House is a text-driven thriller, which blends interactive fiction with puzzles. It follows the story of Debbie, a teenager on a mission to uncover the secrets of an enigmatic mansion.

Chapter 1

Read through the opening part of the chapter, interacting with the scenes and clicking on the bold sections of text. When you get to the running section, you need to click on each of the bold items in order within 40 seconds, then choose to jump when the guard isn't looking.

Adjust the Swiss army knife so you have the cutting tool, then use it. Read the writing on the 4 wires, and just click on them until they show the correct words (ignore their actual colors). They should look like this:

You will eventually reach the house. Once you realize you need a key, scroll back up and open your backpack, then use the key. Scroll back down to use it, then you will need a combination. Press the red button on the keypad to get a clue about the cars, birds and trees. Open your backpack and examine the postcard, counting each of these items (6, 4, 5) - one of the birds is on the stamp. Examine the keypad and enter the code 645, then press the Open button.

Chapter 2

Read through the opening part of the chapter, clicking on the bold sections of text. Click on the stereo and use the power button to turn it off. Once you reach the front door, click on the peep-hole at the top to look through it. Keep reading and click on bold links. Read through the pages of the book and you will end up being able to access multiple rooms within the house.

Dressing Room

Examine the blue shoes. Rotate them until you can read "VHF 104 MHz" inside them.

Living Room

Examine the stereo again. Turn the dial to 104, then press the VHF button and listen to the message.

Hallway

Examine the pictures on the wall and find directions as indicated in the radio message:

  • Mustache to Glasses: Down
  • Glasses to Hat: Right
  • Hat to Bow Tie: Down

Study

Examine the box on the table. Adjust the dials to the following directions: Down, Right, Down. Examine the book and you will automatically place the sheet of paper on page 51. Click to rotate this and you will see the combination X7. Back out - you still need slides for the stereoscope.

Dressing Room

Examine the locked compartment. Press the red button 7 times and it will open. Inside you will find some stereoscope slides, a pencil case and a note. Take the stereoscope slides, then use them in the stereoscope. Pay attention to the slides that have red crosses on them (Daily Planet, Fawlty Towers Hotel, Pulin & Associates).

Bathroom

Examine the picture on the wall. Remove the two ties and it will fall to the ground, revealing a note that mentions Page 49. Examine the book and look at Page 49. Find the locations of the buildings with red crosses. Now press the bathroom tiles corresponding to these on the map:

Step forward through the secret passage.

Chapter 3

Examine the books in the bookshelf - the numbers in the triangles indicate the consonants in the book titles, and the numbers in the circles indicate the vowels. Now examine the portrait of Serena Pulin, and set the values appropriately (6 and 5).

After climbing down the stairs, turn on the light switch and enter the Camera Room. Go back to the tunnel, then through a second door. Click on the brick at the top, then return to the Camera Room again. Look at the shelf and pay attention to the locations of objects with different symbols. Now look at the locker - you need to adjust the key to matches the items in the shelves:

You will end up with night-vision glasses that you can turn on and off. Go through the tunnel and the second door again, then turn on the night-vision glasses to see a message on the bricks. Go back to the Camera Room again. Examine the computer and hold the power button for 5 seconds. Read the message on the screen, then return to the tunnel. You can now access multiple rooms again. Examine the map, including with the night-vision glasses, then start visiting the rooms.

Cabinet of Curiosities

Examine the combination lock, and also look with night-vision glasses to see the message "p101 - p108". You can also open the book while wearing the glasses, but can't fully solve this puzzle yet.

Garage

Examine the back of the fire extinguisher with your glasses to see the word PARKING in green and red letters.

Camera Room

Looking at the map you will see Channel 735. Examine the computer and enter the code 735. You will see a leaf symbol and a grid with several boxes filled in.

Street

Scroll to the far right and examine the trap door. Press 4 buttons according to the grid you just saw on the computer:

Examine the parking meter and press the buttons in the order of letters you saw on the fire extinguisher:

  • Green
  • Red
  • Green

Use your night-vision glasses to look at the display to see the code 1239.

Garden

You can reach the garden by going through the garage. Approach the door and enter the code 1239 into the lock (1 is on the outer ring, 9 is on the inner ring). Use the binoculars and note what you see from each of the directions:

  • North: Factory with 4 smoke stacks
  • East: Street with 3 power poles
  • West: Building with 9 windows
  • South: Plain with 6 trees

Back in the main part of the garden, look at the gnomes through your glasses to see the highlighted letters N, E, W, S.

Video Shop

Examine the gate to see a combination lock. Based on what you found in the garden, enter the code 4396. Now look at the movies. Open the package for "Irma Vep" - this name is mentioned on the map if you look through your glasses. Use your glasses to look at the writing on the tape, which has the 3 highlighted words LAW, OF, TAPES.

Camera Room

Based on the lengths of the 3 words, enter the code 325 into the computer. Listen to the recorded message:

  • One Mexican on a bike
  • Another going up the stairs
  • One who is peeing
  • The one from before who is now telling his companions a joke

Cabinet of Curiosities

Examine the padlock with your night-vision glasses again, then examine the book. Look at each of the pages 101-108 and imagine you are looking at a sombrero from above, then translate the lines of the recorded message into page numbers. Use your night-vision glasses and record the highlighted letters:

  • Page 102: N
  • Page 104: O
  • Page 101: E
  • Page 106: L

Examine the padlock again and open it with the code NOEL.

Chapter 4

You will start this chapter in the dining room, where you can examine a photograph and a clock on the wall. Now you can explore rooms that you first found in Chapter 2.

Library

Place the cat statue on a pedestal.

Office

Answer the phone.

Toilet

Click on the toilet paper at the top of the page. Click on random tiles until you first another cat statue, which you will place on a pedestal in the library.

Guest Room

Take the cat figurine, which is in the long list of items in the room, and you will also place this on a pedestal.

Kitchen

This room is downstairs, accessed through the kitchen. Remove the lid from the large casserole dish to find the final cat statue. You will now see the code 23:45 revealed beneath the 4 cats.

Dining Room

Examine the clock on the wall and change the time to 23:45. Click on the cat that is revealed here and listen to the four different cat sounds after the bell. Click on the "cats" label to return to the library.

Library

Click on the cats in this order: 3, 5, 2, 4. This will open the bookshelf below. Click on the "P.59" label to open the book to page 59, and read the message here. Now click on the "telephone" label.

Office

Use the phone to dial "YOUR PHONE", which is the same as dialing "9687 74663".

Hall

Pull the red cord and take note of how long the lamp stays on. Now press and hold the red button for the same amount of time (you will hear 8 tick sounds). Take the key and flashlight from the drawer that opens.

Basement

Use the flashlight, then click on labels until you find a well. Scroll down and take the lenses from the bucket, then attach them to your flashlight.

Living Room

Point the flashlight at the cushions. Use the different lenses on the cushions to reveal 3 of the cats' names:

  • Red: Sylvester
  • Blue: M
  • Yellow: Grumpy

Attic

You can use your key on the lock at the top of the stairs to reach the attic. Go out to the balcony and use your flashlight to draw a large X - you will then see the final cat's name on the opposite window.

Library

Examine the bookshelf and press these 4 names: Sylvester, Maru, Grumpy, Cat.

Chapter 5

You will also start this chapter in the dining room. Based on the text, examine the clock on the wall and change the time to 5:30. Now you need to gradually run around the house by clicking on the bold labels. After pulling the cable to turn off the lights, quickly click on the word "HERE" several times to throw objects. In the next section, quickly click the word "NOW" when it turns green. Now click and hold the word "BITE" as it moves around. Examine the ID cards.

Living Room

Examine the broken picture frame. Turn it over and open the 4 clasps to find a key and a note that says "P.23". Make sure you take the key.

Piano Room

You can reach here by going through the office. Use the key to unlock the piano. Play it and then stop again. Pull out the records to see that they each have some letters highlighted with yellow diamonds. In each case it is the 3rd, 5th and 7th letters that are highlighted. Examine the right side of the record cabinet. Press the buttons corresponding to the 3rd, 5th and 7th letters:

Once the compartment opens, take the stereoscope slides.

Dining Room

Use the stereoscope to view a series of 6 slides. The first one gives you a pattern that you need to recreate using the chimes of the clock on the wall. Place the left chime on the lowest line, the middle chime on the next one, and the right chime on the middle line. The clock will now change to show letters instead of numbers. Looking at the times on the other slides, you can work out that they spell DEBBIE.

Piano Room

Examine the piano. You will have noticed that there are several notes around that house that have said "I=A". Play DEBBAE on the piano. Now use the controls behind the hatch that opens to pay 3 new melodies, taking note of each of them:

  • Tune 1: EFDBACD
  • Tune 2: ECABDFE
  • Tune 3: BACDFE

As prompted in the text, open the scrapbook to page 21/23. Fold the page over. Now back out and examine the poster on the wall. Press these buttons:

  • Top Right
  • Middle Left
  • Middle Right
  • Bottom Left

Now you need to draw each of the tunes on the layout of numbers to end up with a digit for each tune:

  • Tune 1: 9
  • Tune 2: 0
  • Tune 3: 5

Enter the code 905 to open the safe.
