The Machine
Have a conversation with your handler and play with the controls of the machine to get some hints from him. Start entering the code TR, and the display will come to life BO-07. Enter TR-49 to retrieve your first encoded document. Note that you can scroll up and down to view more of the document.
TR-49 is the boot index of the machine. It tells you that all indices take the form XX-00 (having 2 letters followed by 2 numbers). It also gives you two more codes to visit, and you can click on these to go there directly:
- LA-57: This takes you to the last entry created (LAST), and gives you the code ES-92.
- ED-17: Source control (EDIT)
You can click on the PR-37 link at the bottom of each page (PREV) to go back to where you were previously. You can now also examine a notebook which keeps track of the codes you have used so far. You can also click on the links in the notebook to visit the codes directly.
View ES-92 again and talk to Liam about it. Click on "Breakcode" and assign it the code ES-92. You now have access to another page in your notebook where you assign codes to sources TI-71. This document will now be clear to read and you can click on the "CC" and "49" links to view CC-49. Read carefully through this document and click on the "QL" link, then manually enter the code QL-18. Once you have pieced this together, you will have more pages added to your notebook LI-48.
You are now free to start exploring the archive in pretty much any order you want. Your goal is to explore as many documents as possible, correctly naming them, and learning about the backgrounds of their authors. As a general rule the codes are made up of the initials of the author/publisher of the source, and the year it was published.
Each time you correctly assign a code to a source, its text will become more complete. You will gradually collect these achievements for finding titles and matching them with codes:
- Finding 10 pages FO-10
- Finding 20 pages FO-20
- Finding 35 pages FO-35
- Finding 50 pages FO-50
- Matching 10 titles TI-10
- Matching 20 titles TI-20
- Matching 35 titles TI-35
- Matching 50 titles TI-50
Once you have matched 10 titles, you will see the machine speak in codes for the first time. Go to CC-11, then click on all of the links you can find here CC-11. You will find mention of a maze. You will also get an achievement for reading an additional log UN-10.
Maze
You enter the maze by visiting MA-23. There is a minotaur in the maze and it will begin to chase you. Wander around the maze and choose various options for a while - the minotaur will likely catch you, but you will return to the start of the maze. Now when it starts chasing you again, go directly to LO-57. Now when you use HE-19 to go back to the start of the maze, the minotaur will remain lost. From this point, follow these steps:
- PA-74 (archway path)
- NT-41 (fountains)
- AK-37 (take the key)
- PA-74 (go along the path)
- TR-19 (the heavy door)
- RO-40 (the right wooden door)
- EX-17 (the exit)
There is an achievement for completing the maze MA-23.
Finding 50 Documents
Your actual path to discovery of all of the titles and codes below will vary greatly depending on the links you follow, so the following sections are instead sorted alphabetically. Some of the entries you will find have additional logs at the bottom that must be unlocked with codes:
- AL-12 (Aliz)
- BE-47 (Beatrice)
- CC-11 (Cecil)
- LI-57 (List)

Endings
You can only find the EK-77 after finding the other 49 titles. Give it the correct title ENDPEACE. Go back to the maze and make your way to AC-70, then examine the podium at PO-01. Here you will learn the code MA-43 and can read the book at LC-65. Read Cecil's note, then follow the hidden link to AL-12. Here you will learn the command WI-93.
Try going to WI-93, but you will need Beatrice's password. Head to MA-43 and enter the unlock code DE-39 to open the DEEP section. Select BC-67 and choose DO-17 MA-43.
View Beatrice's log at ED and you will be able to guess her password is WI-11. Go back to WI-93 and enter the password WI-11 WO-40. You can now choose between the following endings (after each one you can rewind the last action you took):
- Enter the code AB-81, and then choose DO-17. This will power off the machine AB-81.
- Enter the code for a book that leads to Endpeace's creation. You can enter either DP-08, JS-40 or PK-37. Next choose DO-17. Talk to Cecil and Aliz for a while, then enter TR-49. You can view a message from Cecil by going to LA-57, then start the program by going to AC-85 LI-44.
- Enter the code for a book that leads to the concept of revisions. You can enter either XY-55 or XY-78. Cecil will try to talk to you, but you cannot respond HE-41.
- From the CC-11 page you can learn that the blueprints of the machine are at QM-55. Enter the code QM-55, and then choose DO-17. This will destroy the machine completely ST-09.
