Santa Fe Mysteries: Sacred Ground is a full-motion video adventure set in the town of Santa Fe, and is the sequel to the earlier game, Santa Fe Mysteries: The Elk Moon Murder. This time you are investigating the disappearance of the wife of a prominent local businessman.

Day 1

Police Headquarters

Chief Weber will give you a briefing. Use your PDA to get a message from Sergeant Orlando. You should now have 6:45 left today.

Tasker Estate

There are a number of items to examine here:

  • White robe next to the pool: order forensics report
  • Hypodermic next to the pool: order forensics report
  • Pill next to the pool: order forensics report
  • Wooden gate in the background: order forensics report

Approach the glass doors on the far side of the pool and talk to Martin Tasker about everything. Back out, then go right and talk to Manuel Orrosso about everything. You can review a message regarding a forensics report on the robe. You should now have 2:30 left today.

Tom McClafferty

Talk to him about everything. Using your PDA, order an alibi verification for him. You will receive a call from Chief Weber. You should now have 0:30 left today.

White Buffalo

There are a number of items to examine here:

Click on the body to approach the crime scene. There are a number of items to examine here:

  • Shovel on the right: order forensics report
  • Abrasions on the victim's wrist: order forensics report
  • Blunt injury on the victim's head: order forensics report
  • Rope loop on the ground behind the victim: order forensics report
  • Glove on the ground behind the victim: order forensics report

Back out from the body. You will receive a message from Sergeant Orlando. You should now have 5:30 left today.

Tasker Estate

Approach the glass doors on the far side of the pool and you will enter an office. There are a number of items to examine here:

  • Theresa's letter in the left desk drawer
  • Receipt in the top of the briefcase
  • Un-mailed letter in the bottom of the briefcase
  • Attorney's letter on the right of the desk
  • Phone messages on the answering machine
  • Prenuptial in the documents behind the telephone

Back out and leave. You should still have 5:30 left today.

Dan Longfoot

Police Headquarters

Use the computer and fill in these details:

  • Issue a warrant for the arrest of Amy Tasker on the charges of Murder and Kidnapping.
  • The suspect entered the Task Estate by Tricking Randa and attacked Randa Tasker at Midnight. She was subdued with the Hypo.
  • The suspect met Martin Tasker at 2:00 AM. He was killed with a Hypodermic. The ransom money was not relevant to the crime.
  • The suspect's motive for the crimes was Revenge.
