Known Lands
Market Faire
Leave the tent, then walk around and talk to everyone you find. Visit the moneychanger (his tent is along the main northwest road in the fair) and sell him your medal for 15 credits. Now leave the faire.
Sanctuary
Open the gate and head inside. Open the smaller door, then go all the way through the sanctuary and open another smaller door. Go to the big Orb Temple and talk to Elara - offer your word of honor, then agree to give her a token from the Forest King. Leave the Sanctuary.
Forest
Walk along the path and you will granted an audience with the King - tell him of your problem, and you will be given the golden apple.
Sanctuary
Return to Elara and give her the golden apple. Back in the main part of the Sanctuary, go to the northwest corner into the newly-opened sacred area. In the far northwest, look at the footprint, and pick up the sourberries. Leave the Sanctuary again.
Ferret Village
Follow the path, then take the branch to the northeast and you will find a shopping courtyard. You need the hardware store, which is directly across from the glassmaster. Pick up a bag of plaster and pay for it with your 15 credits.
Sanctuary
Head into the sacred area again. Pick up the bucket from one of the small fenced gardens within the southern part of this area, then fill it at the fountain just to the east. Go to where you found the footprint earlier, and mix the plaster with the water, then pour the wet plaster into the footprint. Pick up the castle and leave the Sanctuary.
Boar King's Castle
Go to the castle entrance and trick the sentries into opening the gate. Follow the corridors to reach the throne room, then get in the mud to talk to the king. When you come out, you will discover a ring stuck to your fur. Leave this area.
Rat Caves
Talk to the doorkeeper, and confuse him to gain entrance to the tunnels. Turn right when you can, and go through the library. Continue northeast in a straight line, then go right at the end and through a wooden door. Answer the copy-protection question, then go through the other doorway. Head southwest, then southeast past a bookcase and around to the southwest. Continue straight past a set of 3 bookcases, and open the door at the end of the corridor. Talk to Sist about the Orb and show him the footprint and sourberries. Retrace your steps to leave the caves.
Tycho's House
Talk to Tycho Northpaw and offer to repair his lightcatcher in exchange for a copy of his map.
Ferret Village
Visit the glassmaster and give him the broken glass, then agree to meet him at the lodge. Go to the lodge, which is just southwest of the hardware store, on the outside of the shopping courtyard. Talk to Sakka in the lodge and agree to take the test. This is a simple tan-gram, and you will be offered hints along the way. Talk to the Orb once it is brought out, but you need to know an older name for the "lightcatcher", so you must visit the rats.
Rat Caves
Talk to the doorkeeper and confuse him again, then go through the passages to find Sist. Show him the broken glass and he will remember the words "telescope" and "lens". Leave the caves once more.
Ferret Village
Return to the lodge and talk to the Orb again. Ask it about the telescope lens, and a replacement will be made - it now needs to be polished with red clay. Talk to everyone about this, and Okk will tell you where to find it. Leave the village again.
Boar King's Castle
Trick the guards into letting you inside again. Follow the corridors and you will automatically get the red clay from the baths and leave again.
Ferret Village
Go to the lodge and give the red clay to the glassmaster - you will now have your new lens. Leave the village for the last time.
Tycho's House
You will automatically trade the new lens for a map of the wild lands, and can head on your way. As you leave the house, you will be met by one of Elara's servants - you will be given a letter to give to her sister if you find her.
Wild Lands
Dog Castle
Travel north into the mountains and you will reach a castle with two dog guards. Agree to tell some jokes as a toll, but you will end up in the dungeon anyway. Try to pick up the loose stone block on the right, but you are not strong enough. Pick up the wooden bowl and use it on the bars to get the jailer's attention, then ask for food and a spoon. Use the spoon to eat the food, then use the spoon on the loose stone. Finally, pick up the loose stone again to reveal a tunnel. Look at the tunnel, then use it to escape. You will fall down into a maze - wander around and you should quite easily find the exit. Once outside, go south along the path.
Cat Village
Head north, then west and around to the south to find the village. You will meet the chieftess and learn of her sick daughter. Talk to the chieftess again in the morning and go inside to see her daughter. After talking to her, leave the village.
Clearing
Go to the clearing just north of the village and talk to Kylas Honeyfoot. Trade your ring for a needle and thread, then return to the wilderness.
Alamma's Cottage
Approach the cottage and talk to the door, but you are not welcome. Use Elara's letter on the door 3 times and you will eventually get inside. Talk to Alamma about the remedy - you still need honey and catnip.
Mountain Stream
Go northwest to the mountain stream and pick up some catnip from near the water's edge.
Quarry
Go as far as you can to the east to find the quarry. Pick up the flint chip from the ground, then leave again.
Oak Tree
Now head to the northern-most point on the map to find a big oak tree, surrounded by honey bees. Pick up the dry twigs from the base of the tree, then use them to arrange them nicely for a fire. Use the flint chip with the spoon to start a fire and get rid of the bees. Use your empty bowl with the beehive to get some honey, then leave this area.
Alamma's Cottage
Give the honey and catnip to Alamma and you will receive the healing salve.
Cat Village
Return to the chieftess' hut and give her daughter the salve - now the cats will help you and you will return to the castle automatically.
Dog Castle
Enter the castle, then go forward, left, right, forward twice, right, forward, left and forward - you are now in a formal room. Exit through the right hallway. Now continue left, forward, right twice, forward twice, left twice and right - you have found the Prince's chambers. You must walk around the squeaky floorboard in front of you (go up to the bedside dresser, then down alongside the bed) and pick up the key from the Prince's hand. Now leave his room.
Continue left, right twice, forward twice, left twice, forward and right to return to the formal room, and exit through the left hallway. Now go left, right, forward twice, right and left to find some dogs playing cards. Walk straight across and exit via the right of the screen. Head left twice, right twice and forward to reach the dungeon. Use the key on the door to free your companions, then leave this room. Walk north, left twice, right twice and again walk straight past the poker game. Continue left, forward, left twice, right and forward to exit the castle.
Quarry
Pick up the rope from outside, then enter the mine. Try 3 times to pick up the fragment of green crystal, and Okk will eventually do it.
Clearing
You need to find Kylas Honeyfoot again, and you will need to search all the clearings to find him. Once you do, trade your green crystal for the wolfhead ring.
Rocky Gorge
Find the gorge northwest of the big oak tree. Try to walk across and Eeah will make it alone. Use the rope, and Okk and Rif can get across safely.
Dock
Continue northwest to the dock, and talk to the old wolf. Give him the wolfhead ring and he will take you across to the North Island.
North Island
Waterfall
Head north to the waterfall and talk to Shiala.
Dam
Continue north to the dam, where you will be captured by a pack of wolves.
Wolf Camp
In your cage, you will first meet the wolf captain, then the raccoon. After a night's rest, Shiala will come to your rescue. Exit the cell and enter the hut to the left. Pick up the ancient trophy, then leave the camp.
Ancient Ruins
Walk west and south around the island's coast until you reach the ancient ruins. Enter the second hangar on the left and pick up the spool of cable, then leave the ruins.
Seaside Cliff
Go all the way around the coast north and east, back past the wolf camp. Continue east until you reach the cliff. Use the cable and you will get the metallic card key.
Dock
Walk southwest and you will find the dock again. Talk to Kylas Honeyfoot and trade your trophy for an oil lamp.
Ancient Ruins
Go west over the bridges for a faster trip to the ancient ruins. Now head to the third hangar on the left and open the door. Use the oil lamp on the door, then try to open it again. Head inside and pick up the screwdriver from the work bench. Head southwest towards the exit of the ruins, but when you reach the metal fence, stay inside and continue southeast. You will find the Administration Building - head inside. Use the card key with the panel and enter a maze of corridors.
Walk forward 3 times and left, then through the doorway into a computer room. Pick up the triangular device from the desk, then leave the computer room and return to the hallway. Head right and forward 3 times, then exit the building and the ruins.
Dam
Head east to the dam, and follow the path up to the top of the hill. Use the screwdriver to open the door, then go inside and pick up the digital clock. Open the clock and its battery will fall out. Put the battery in the triangular device. Leave this building and return to the wilderness.
Waterfall
Walk through the gap in the water and along the passage to find Shiala. Talk to her, then use the triangular device in the iron hatch. Walk inside, then continue along the tunnel. Walk right past the first ladder, and climb the ladder on the next screen. Keep climbing up, then head right up the stairs. Climb up one more ladder and walk towards Chota to complete the game.
