Monday
Your House
Open the dresser drawer near the door on the left and take out the quarter and the pen. Leave the room and talk to Hank, then go through the open doorway in the back to find the kitchen. Talk to your mother about everything, then return to the living room. Pick up a newspaper from the box on the right, then go outside to the right.
Talk to Jimmy, who wants a pair of sneakers. Give him the newspaper, then walk away from the house to see the town overview.
Pottsdam Residence
Go inside and talk to Mr Pottsdam, who tells you that Stephanie is grounded. Head into the kitchen and talk to Mrs Pottsdam, getting her permission to go upstairs. Return to the living room and go upstairs.
Enter the first room on the right to find a bathroom. Open the medicine cabinet and take out the aspirin, Oralube, cough medicine, tampons and vitamins. Examine the wall picture, then move it and look through the hole. Leave the bathroom, then go through the next door into Stephanie's bedroom. Talk to her about everything, then leave the house.
Shady Oaks Mortuary
Head inside, then go through the side door on the left into the examination room. Talk to Mr Moynahan, then leave this room. Back in the lobby, examine the ledger, then pick it up.
Abandoned House
Look at the wasps on the old car to the left, then head inside. Talk to Tetsua Crumb, then leave again.
The Lodge
Talk to the Sergeant at Arms about joining the lodge - you need to complete an application form.
Post Office
Go inside and talk to Postmaster Boyle.
Barber Shop
Head inside and talk to the customers, Mr Swell and Mr Parsons.
General Store
Enter the store and talk to Mrs Phelps. Look at the shelves behind her and click on the adult magazine. Back out and given your quarter to Mrs Phelps to receive the magazine. Look at the copier while you are here, then go back outside.
Fire Station
Go inside and talk to Sparky about everything.
Newspaper Building
Pick up the shovel and use it on the ashes. Now examine the ashes so you can pick up the burnt flyer and a button.
Police Station
Head inside. If Sheriff Dwayne is here, talk to him about everything, then go outside and come back in until he is not there. Once Deputy Loomis is alone, talk to him. Give him the adult magazine and he will leave you alone. Examine the desk drawer and take out the evidence room key, note and checkbook. Read the checkbook and the note in your inventory.
Use the key on the door to the right. Take the camera, sneakers and gas can from the large set of shelves. Leave the room and the police station.
Edna's Diner
Go inside and talk to Edna and Karin. Open the drawer on the far left and take out the straight-slot screwdriver.
General Store
Use both the checkbook and the note on the copier.
Post Office
Show the button and the photocopy of either the note or checkbook to Postmaster Boyle. Give him the gas can and you will receive a lodge application. In your inventory, use the pen on the lodge application to complete it.
Edna's Diner
Show Sheriff Dwayne the photocopy of the checkbook, then give him the checkbook in exchange for a "Get-Out-of-Jail-Free" card.
The Lodge
Give the completed lodge application to the Sergeant at Arms.
Tuesday
Your House
Leave your room. Enter the kitchen and talk to your mother, then return to the living room. Pick up a newspaper from the box, then go outside. Give Jimmy the newspaper, then also give him the bloody sneakers in exchange for a broom closet key.
Meat Plant
Go inside and talk to Pat O'Reilly until he gives you a meat permission slip that you need to get signed.
Gein Memorial School
Enter the school. Use the broom closet key on the broom closet, then use your camera on the broom closet - accept the baseball bat in exchange for your photograph.
Post Office
Examine the manhole key that is stuck in the manhole cover. Use your jar of Oralube on the manhole key, then take it. When you leave, night will fall.
Cemetery
Enter the cemetery and head right. Talk to Mr Pottsdam here, then pick up the matches from the ground before leaving.
Johnson Residence
Use your manhole key on the manhole cover in the street here, then climb down. Use your shovel on the corroded wall to the right, then climb through the hole. Now head right along the tunnel twice to reach a basement. Climb up the stairs into a garage.
Take the pitchfork and the dolly from the left. Examine the tool bench, then pick up the Phillips screwdriver. Use the Phillips screwdriver on the car to scratch it. Make your way back out to the street and leave.
The Lodge
Talk to the Sergeant at Arms.
Wednesday
Your House
Leave your room. Enter the kitchen and talk to your mother, then return to the living room. Pick up a newspaper from the box, then go outside. Give Jimmy the newspaper.
Cemetery
Enter the cemetery and head right. Move the picnic table, then use your shovel to dig the fresh grave. Talk to Karin.
Edna's Diner
Go inside and talk to Edna to receive the reward money.
Gein Memorial School
Head inside and use the fire alarm on the wall.
Fire Station
Take the ladder and fire axe from the large open area on the left.
Your House
Head inside and examine the cabinet in the living room. Use your dolly on the cabinet, then press the button to disable the fire alarm. Return outside and examine the security bars on the left window. Use your Phillips screwdriver on them, then climb inside. Talk to your father, who will sign the meat permission slip.
Meat Plant
Go inside and give the signed meat permission slip to Pat in exchange for a chunk of meat. When you leave, night will fall.
Fire Station
Go inside. Give the chunk of meat to the dog, then move the sheet and talk to the male model. Based on his hint, use the light switch on the right wall. Now use your ladder on the left wall light to get a piece of cloth that was hidden there.
Thursday
Your House
Leave your room. Enter the kitchen and talk to your mother, then return to the living room. Pick up a newspaper from the box, then go outside. Give Jimmy the newspaper.
General Store
Enter the store and talk to Mrs Phelps. Give her the reward money, then look at the shelves behind her and take the wrench and the electrical tape.
Pottsdam Residence
Go inside and talk to Mr Pottsdam. Head upstairs, then into Stephanie's bedroom. Talk to her, then leave the house again.
The Lodge
Talk to the Sergeant at Arms and agree to the next task. When you leave, night will fall.
Barber Shop
Use your electrical tape on the door, then break the door with the fire axe and head inside. Use the right light switch to turn off the light inside the barber's pole. Use the straight-slot screwdriver to remove the barber's pole from the wall. Head back outside and leave.
Friday
Your House
Leave your room. Enter the kitchen and talk to your mother, then return to the living room. Pick up a newspaper from the box, then go outside. Give Jimmy the newspaper.
The Lodge
Talk to the Sergeant at Arms and agree to the next task.
Shady Oaks Mortuary
Head inside, then continue forward through the next doors into the chapel, then then down to the raised area. Open the casket, then use your camera on it to take a photo of the body. Return down and through the doors, then go left into the examination room. Talk to Mr Moynahan, then give him the photo of the slashed corpse, and agree to trade for the tube of Astro-Glue. When you leave, night will fall.
Gein Memorial School
Head inside, and go through the right door at the end of the hall to reach the bake sale. Talk to the PTA moms, then walk away.
TV Station
You will see Postmaster Boyle running away with a gas can.
Edna's Diner
Use your electrical tape on the door, then break the door with the fire axe and head inside. Pick up the cake cover and combine it with the Astro-Glue in your inventory. Now use the cover with the smoke alarm on the ceiling. Save your game. Turn on the grease fryer, then use your matches on it. Quickly leave.
Saturday
Your House
Leave your room. Enter the kitchen and talk to your mother, then return to the living room. Pick up a newspaper from the box, then go outside. Give Jimmy the newspaper.
TV Station
Talk to Range Ryder.
Edna's Diner
Go inside to see the bodies of Edna and Karin.
Pottsdam Residence
Go inside and head upstairs into Stephanie's bedroom. Talk to her, then leave the house again.
The Lodge
Talk to the Sergeant at Arms.
Pottsdam Residence
Go inside and head upstairs to talk to Mr Pottsdam. After Sheriff Dwayne arrives, take the lodge invitation from the bed.
The Lodge
Talk to the Sergeant at Arms, who needs you to bring Stephanie's skull and spine.
Pottsdam Residence
Go inside and head upstairs into Stephanie's bedroom - her remains are gone.
Cemetery
Enter the cemetery and head right twice. Use your ladder on the Pottsdam family crypt. Use your fire axe to break the skylight, then arm the fire axe as a weapon. Climb down into the crypt and kill the wolf with the axe. Open the sarcophagus and take the remains from inside. Climb back up the ladder and leave.
The Lodge
Give the remains to the Sergeant at Arms, and you will receive the harvest blade, then will be guided through the doors.
The Trials
Level 1
You will lose almost all of your possessions at this point. Arm the harvest blade and talk to the valet. Walk down towards the exit and you will fall down through a trapdoor.
Make your way through the passages, killing any monsters. Once you reach the room with eyeballs, attack the large one on the right to continue. In the hallway, you will comment that you have burning on your skin - this is acid that you need to clean off quickly.
Head through the middle door and kill another wolf to your left. Continue right into a bar. Examine the liquor shelves, then drink the extra strong beer on the top shelf. Walk to the right and kill your Doppelganger, and you will end up with a bar key. Use this on the cash register, then take all the money inside. Return left and down to get back to the hallway.
Head through the left door. Talk to the cloak room attendant, then give him the 5 dollars to clean your clothes. Now kill the attendant and you will get a shotgun. Pick up the toga from the back wall and place it on the second hook from the left. Go through the hidden passage and collect the shotgun shells and the scythe. Arm the scythe as your new weapon. Go back through the hidden passage and go right to return to the hallway.
Go through the middle door again. Head left this time and talk to the lodge chef, then kill him to receive a cleaver. Pick up two pieces of meat from the floor. You can also pick up a sandwich here - eat it later if you need to restore health at any stage. Leave the kitchen and go down.
Go through the left door again. Use the electrical switch on the right, then go through the door on the left. Kill the creature here, then use the gum ball machine in the back corner to eat some candy and restore your health (you can do this several times). Pick up the pool stick and baseball bat. Continue through the door to the left. Use one of your chunks of meat on the bubbles in the water, then quickly go left over the bridge and through the opposite door. Grab the weed killer from on top of the locker to the right. Return left again. Throw your other chunk of meat at the bubbles in the water, then quickly return right. Continue right twice more to return to the hallway.
Head through the middle door once more, then go right. Continue through the doors on the right. Use the weed killer on the plant. Open the gate to the fountain, then examine the fountain. Pick up the fountain key (it is over the reflection of your shoulder). Back out and use the fountain key in the hole on the large column to the far right. Go through the opening. Kill the monster to the left, then climb up the rope.
Level 2
Talk to the art curator. Go right, killing all the moving sculptures, and one of them will drop an art gallery key. Keep going right until you find a door, then use the art gallery key to unlock it and go through.
Go through the double doors and talk to the librarian. Back out, then head right. Follow the curved hallway upwards, then go through the top door. Talk to the membership director about everything, then back out of the room. Head through the left door. Examine the right column and take the hooked flail. Leave this room, then return down.
Follow the curved hallway downwards, and you will see 2 pairs of padded double doors. Continue right, then up around the curved hallway and left. Go through the door here and kill McCain - you will end up with a book. Head all the way back to the librarian and talk to her to return the book and get a clue about the Chessmaster and his key. Leave the library again.
Go right, down, right and up around the curved hallway. Examine both ashtrays to get 2 shotgun shells. Go through the door between the ashtrays and talk to the Chessmaster. Select to play chess against him. The starting layout is as follows:
Make the following moves:
- Nb2 (move the white knight to position b2)
- Ka1 (move the white king to position a1)
- Nc4 (move the white knight to position c4)
Examine the Chessmaster's body and take the key from inside his head. Leave this room and go right twice. Continue through the double doors. Arm yourself with the shotgun and go right. Talk to the maintenance man, then walk closer and shoot him with the shotgun. You will end up taking his nail gun. Go right again and use the Chessmaster's key on the ballroom door, then go through. Kill the clown using the scythe and you will get a chainsaw, kewpie doll and kewpie key.
Return to the membership director and talk to him to get some more information about Stephanie. Leave the room and go down and right until you reach the padded double doors. Use your kewpie key on them, then head through. Walk down and pick up the two flags, then go through the curtain. Open the lunchbox to find another sandwich that you can eat now or later to restore some health. Also pick up the 2 wooden planks. Go right and pick up another wooden plank, then continue through the door on the right. Kill the skeleton, then pick up the lighter fluid. Return left and examine the masks on the wall. Turn the happy mask 4 times, and the sad mask 7 times. Go through the door.
Save your game, as you only have limited time in the next section. Walk down and continue through the next door. Go left and pick up the pipe and the pipe wrench from the floor. Go left again and pick up another 2 pipes from the floor. Return right and turn the valve at the top of boiler 1. Use the pipe wrench on the broken pipe running between the tops of boilers 1 and 2. In your inventory, combine the 3 pipes you picked up to make an S-pipe. Now use this on the bypass pipe next to the valve you turned. Turn the valve back on. Now you can take the boiler room key from boiler 1. Head left and use the boiler room key on the door, then go through.
Quickly kill the workman here, then continue through the next door. Use 2 of your wooden planks on the lava, then walk over them to go left again. Put your 2 flags on the 2 cement bases, then wait for the ceiling to come down enough to trigger the doors opening. Head right. Kill a guard, then climb the rope.
Level 3
Pick up the pack of nails. Go through the left door. Wait for the large man to stop eating, and he will attack you, so kill him (if you start the fight, you will also have to kill the security guard, who has a pistol). Go through the door behind them. In the next room, kill the 3 kids when they approach, then kill the mother if you wish.
Go through another door here. Answer the priest's questions as follows:
- Yes.
- In Heaven.
- Frolic with the Wombats.
- I'll take the Staff.
- Trip to Brazil.
Go through the left door. Walk down through the next room, and quickly head right to avoid fighting the man in the open area. Kill Mr Pottsdam in the meat locker. Head through the middle door. Pay the woman here, then pick up the hand mirror and continue left. Quickly use the hand mirror on the woman on the left, then go left once more. Pick up the syringe and use it on yourself. Kill the man on the table, then go through the middle door.
Kill the beggar when he approaches, then head through the left door. Kill the old prisoners in the arena, then head right. In this room you need to kill a man with a gun and then a robot. Head through the door that opens beneath the TV screens. Use your shotgun to kill the priest and then the principal. Now you will need to make a decision, which leads to one of two possible endings:
- Marry Stephanie: You will continue to live in Harvest.
- Kill Stephanie: You will return to the normal world, but begin your new profession as a Harvester.
