Gord@k is a first-person cyberpunk adventure game. You are an agent of CS Corporation, sent into cyberspace to find and defeat Gord@k, an evil sentient computer virus. It has already defeated the last 3 agents, and is waiting for your arrival.

Logging In

Start a game and turn on the screen with the button at the bottom right. Click on the logo at the top right, then enter your name. Hover over the black bar at the top right and click to see the list of messages, then select "CS-em: Road 1". After reviewing the information, click on the message title again and it will disappear. Answer Y to the question. After it downloads, select "CS-em: Road 2". Again after reviewing the information, click on the message title to clear it.

Next click on the middle black bar and review the available information on Peter Christopher, Graham Leslie and Irene Wong. To close this interface, click on the middle black bar again.

Now click on the left black bar and review the information on Laceter Memo, CelGen Report and Chronology. To close this interface, click on the left black bar again.

When you are done reviewing information, click on the spinning red icon at the bottom right. Answer Y to the question.

Garden

Click on the horizontal bar above the left panel beneath the image display to open it and show your inventory (currently empty). Click on the vertical bar to the left of the right panel beneath the image display to open it as well.

Click on the rectangular button towards the bottom right to display a series of round buttons along the side of the display, completing the interface. Now you can save or quit the game. Using the bottom part of the interface, you can review the items under the e-mail, personnel files and documentation. The images section is not yet ready as you don't have a digital camera link.

You will start on a white platform. Step down from this and go around behind it, then look at its base and open a small door to find a set of 3 keys (diamond, clover and circle). Turn left and approach the nearest park bench. Looking at it, there is a small hot-spot just above the bench, between the left and middle trees, where you can find some sunglasses.

Next head towards the locked white gate. Use your circle key on the lock and you will head through the gate. Enter the yellow transport and you will automatically look right towards a red lever. Turn around and pick up the black wallet from the floor. Examine the ID of Irene Wong on the left, then the small note on the right, which has the number 1-800-GORD@K. Also take the Gord@k dollar from the top of the wallet. Click on the middle of the wallet to put it away.

Go back to the white gate and open it with the circle key again. After going through the gate, find a hot-spot on the right side of the white bench around the nearest tree, and pick up a knife. Walk back to the base of the steps at the white platform. Use your knife on the left edge of the middle step and you will uncover a magnifier. Turn left and go over to the red token dispenser. Insert your Gord@k dollar into the slot on the left and you will receive 4 tokens. Return to the white platform and use the viewfinder twice to view any 2 images (make sure you only use 2 tokens here).

Make your way back to the white gate. Look at the bottom of the hedge on the right and you will find a camera. You can now see 2 images that are already on the camera (and view them in 360 degrees), and can capture additional images if you like during the game.

Use the circle key to get through the white gate. Turn right and insert 2 tokens into the machine here. Now enter the yellow transport and pull the red lever to travel.

Lower Plane

Outside

Exit the transport when it stops moving, then follow the path around to the left. Look at the sign here and click on it to reveal the correct directions. You will also have a new e-mail to read (indicated by the flashing light in your interface).

Follow the path to the left, and you will reach a closed wooden door. Use your sunglasses on the door and you will be able to see words on the stones around the door. You need to press these in the correct order to create this phrase: "To pass through this border place the pass words in correct order". Press the Accept button at the bottom right. After automatically removing the sunglasses, go through the door.

Cave Maze

Turn right and go through the door into a dark maze. From here, head forward, right, forward, right, forward twice, left and forward. Use your magnifier on the wall here to see a map of the maze, with an indicator saying "Go this way".

Turn around and head forward, right, forward 3 times, right and forward to go the way that was indicated. Now continue right, forward twice, right, forward, left, forward, left and forward. Use your magnifier on the wall to get an updated map with a new target.

Turn around and head forward, right, forward twice, left, forward, left, forward, right, forward twice, right, forward, right and forward to go the way that was indicated. Now continue right, forward, left, forward, left, forward, right, forward, right, forward twice, left and forward. Use your magnifier on the wall to get the final map version.

Turn around and head forward, right, forward twice, left, forward, left, forward, right, forward, right, forward, left and forward to go the way that was indicated. Now continue left and forward through a new door.

Turn around and pick up a red gas can from the floor. Look to the right and examine the telephone on the wall. You need to enter a number based on the note you found in the wallet earlier: 1-800-467325. You will be given a hint on what to do next. Turn right again and press the panel on the wall to reveal a puzzle. In this puzzle you release a ball by pressing the button at the bottom left. You guide the ball by clicking on the various arrows throughout the grid, aiming to get the correct colored ball to each of the 3 targets on the right. You change the color of the ball using the lens on the left. Once you are successful you will be brought back to the exit of the maze, and can head outside.

Alternatively, just turn around and go back through the door. Continue right, forward, right, forward, left, forward, right and through the door. Go left and through the door to exit the caves.

Outside

Go forward along the path twice to reach a broken bridge. Click on the danger sign and you will knock it down. Turn right and click on the bike to ride it over the broken bridge. Continue forward along the path to reach a small helicopter. Use your gas can on the fuel cap to fill it up. Now sit in the front seat. You will be prompted for a code of 4 numbers - enter 2, 4, 8, 16 (this is based on numbers you have seen elsewhere in the game up until this point).

Boss House

After the crash, walk towards the tall house. Turn left and head to the well, then climb down into it by using the rungs you can see inside the well. Read another e-mail once you get to the bottom and discover another maze.

Head forward, right and through the door into a small room with 4 doors. Try each of the doors in this room, and if you are lucky you will find one with a staircase you will climb up. If not, leave the room and come back to try again. You will eventually end up in the kitchen of the house.

Look at the bowl on the table and you will take the trunk key from inside. Click on the clock on the wall and take note of the series of 4 times that are displayed (7, 11, 12, 2). Climb up the red staircase. Sit on the sofa here to watch a brief message on the television. Climb up the purple staircase and then the brown staircase.

Use the trunk key on the trunk here and you will see a hint message on the inside of the lid, related to the 4 times you just saw on the clock. Climb back down the brown and purple staircases. Examine the picture on the wall to reveal a safe, then enter the code 711122 and press the Enter button. You will take out a digital key. Go back down the red staircase, then down into the basement again.

From the room with 4 doors, try the doors until you find a room with double doors and a panel on the left. Use your digital key below the panel and it will open, revealing another puzzle to solve. In this one, you can rotate the central disc using the arrows near the middle - this has a slot that moves around and allows you to rotate a smaller disc that aligns with the slot, and a red bar that cannot go past a solid red line on one of the smaller discs. You need to gradually rotate the outer discs so that the gray bars on them all line up, going around in a circle.

Open the double doors and go through. Press the yellow button to descend on an elevator. Walk forward along the pathway and click on the large panel in the middle of the circuit board to reveal the last puzzle. If you lose this puzzle, you need to start the game again from the beginning. These are the rules for the game:

  • You need to turn all 16 gates green
  • Gord@k will gradually turn any green gates blue
  • You lose if there are no visible green gates
  • You can adjust your logic guns to be either "and" or "or"
  • You can adjust each bit of your logic guns by clicking on their smaller parts
  • You fire the guns by dragging them to different positions
  • Make sure you immediately target the blue gates when they appear, bearing in mind this will turn them red

Once all gates are green you have defeated Gord@k.
