Escape Logan Estate is a first-person puzzle adventure game. You play as multiple different members of the Logan Family, on a trip to visit the family home. You will gradually uncover the story of the family and its mysterious estate. There are 9 Steam Achievements, all documented in the walkthrough below.

Chapter 1

Act 1

Pick up the bell from the ground and attach it to the rope next to the door. Look in the back of the car to see your luggage. Move the smaller items to each side so you can take out the 2 larger suitcases. Now go and ring the bell and you will end up in your bedroom.

Search the top drawer for a clue, then leave your room. Look at the picture on the wall just to the left, and take another clue. Now look to the right and go downstairs. Search the top drawer here for the next clue, and look behind the right curtain for another. Look at the coffee table for the last clue, then assemble all 5 clues. This will give you the 3-digit code 394. Examine the keypad beneath the stairs and enter the code 394, then open the door.

Act 2

Head downstairs and into the kitchen. Search the top right drawer to find some matches. Take the kettle from the stove and head outside. Pour water from the kettle into the glass vase so you can take the key from inside. Return to the living room and use the key to unlock the bottom drawer. Take a slide from inside, and look at the pattern in the bottom of the drawer. Examine the keypad beneath the stairs and press buttons to match the pattern you just saw:

Return to the kitchen and turn on the tap, then fill your kettle. Put the kettle back on the stove and heat it up by using the 1st knob on the stove. A pattern will be revealed on the window behind. Go back and enter this pattern into the keypad beneath the stairs:

Go out to the backyard through the kitchen. Pick up a log and the axe and hammer leaning against the shed. Put the log on the stump to the left, then chop it with the axe and pick up the firewood. Go back inside to the living room. Put the firewood in the fireplace, then light it with your matches. This will reveal a pattern on the back of the fireplace. Enter this on the keypad beneath the stairs:

Head upstairs and go to the far left. Slide back the edge of the carpet, then use your hammer on the exposed floorboards to reveal the final pattern. Go back downstairs and enter this on the keypad:

Now open the door. Use your slide on the projector and line up the + symbols, then look at the projected image on the wall. Drag pins to line up with the 3 crosses. Go back to the projector and line up the O symbols. Look at the projected image and drag the other pins to line up with the 3 crosses. Now count the pins in the green and orange sections of the displayed map (2 and 4). Examine the locked box on the bench and open it with the code 24. Look through each of the pictures, then back out.

Act 3

Talk to Fred, then enter the shed and look at the tall locked cabinet. You must solve a series of 4 puzzles to open this - each time, just click to gradually fill in all squares:

Open the cabinet and take out the gun. Go outside and head right into the woods. Talk to Fred again, then look at the numbers in the trees to see -2 on the left, and 1+4 on the right. Use the gun to aim at the can on the tree stump - set the vertical guide to -2 and the vertical guide to 5, then shoot the gun. Go right and shoot at the fox. Go back through the forest several times to the left Chapter 1 Complete!.

Chapter 2

Act 1

Talk to Helen, then leave the bedroom and go downstairs. Search the drawers in the living room to find a hanger and a measuring cup. Look out the window and notice the 4 arrows on the glass. Click on the figure outside in the woods. Back out, then head upstairs into the bathroom. Examine the bath, remove the drain cover, and use the hanger in the drain. Move the hanger according to the arrows you just saw downstairs: up, down, down, left. Leave the bathroom and return to the bedroom. Take the board game from the bed. Go back downstairs and use the board game with Sam Minigame 1 Unlocked!.

After winning a game of Connect 4 you will get a recipe and another measuring cup. Go to the kitchen and put your recipe and both measuring cups on the bench. You need to measure out 4 measures of flour:

  1. Pour flour into the 3 cup, then from there into the 5 cup
  2. Pour flour into the 3 cup, then from there into the 5 cup
  3. Empty the 5 cup into the sink
  4. Pour flour from the 3 cup into the 5 cup
  5. Pour flour into the 3 cup, then from there into the 5 cup
  6. Empty the 5 cup into the yellow bowl

Pick up the yellow bowl, then use it on the frying pan on the stove. Heat it up by using the 3rd knob on the stove. Wait for a while, then pick up the pancakes. Go upstairs and use the pancakes on the door to the kids room.

Act 2

Take the peg from the bed. Notice there is a key behind the broken window, but you cannot get it yet. Go downstairs and search the drawers in the living room to get a magnet and another peg. In the kitchen, search the top right drawer to get a light bulb. Go back upstairs to the bathroom. Take the final peg from here. Put your light bulb in each of the sockets over the mirror and take note of the patterns shown on the mirror. Make sure you take the light bulb again.

Go back to the bedroom and look at the window. Use your magnet on the key and drag it around to the hole so you can take it. Leave this room, then use your key on the door to the left and head inside.

Look at the diagram on the small bedside table. Now examine the bookshelf on the right. Rearrange the grey books so the lines all connect appropriately. Rearrange the bottom books according to the clue from the bedside table:

Look in the top section of the bookshelf and insert the 3 pegs according to the patterns on the mirror:

Examine the urn that is revealed. Head back downstairs and out through the kitchen to the backyard. Pick up the dial from outside the shed. Enter the shed and take the trap from the bench. Examine the safe beneath the bench and attach your dial. Now turn each of the rings as follows:

  • Turn the yellow dial to the right
  • Turn the green dial to the left
  • Turn the silver dial to the top
  • Turn the purple dial to the bottom

Open the safe and take out the gnomon. Go outside and put this on the sundial platform - note the symbol in shadow. Put your light globe in the light fitting to the top left and note which new symbol on the sundial is in shadow. Repeat this by putting the light globe in the light fitting to the top right. Enter the shed and look at the locked cupboard to the bottom left - set the code to the 3 symbols from the sundial, then take the bait from inside. Return outside and go right into the forest.

Act 3

Leave your bedroom and enter the room on the left to talk to Helen. Look at the number 834 on the wall. Take the wires from the pillow on the bed. Go downstairs and search the drawers to find a screwdriver and see a code - note the 8th, 3rd and 4th symbols.

Go back up to Helen and examine the panel next to the right door. Use the screwdriver to remove the screws. Insert the wires, then straighten out the top and bottom wires, and you will automatically put the cover back on. Insert the screws again. Press the buttons in this order:

Open the door. After automatically going outside, talk to Sam then enter the shed. Look at the tall locked cabinet and solve another series of 4 puzzles:

Open the cabinet and take out the gun. Go outside and head right into the woods Chapter 2 Complete!.

Chapter 3

Act 1

Talk to Luke. Go out to the living room and search the top drawer to get some cleaner. Pick up the clothes from the sofa, then head upstairs into the kids room. Grab some more clothes from the right bed. Examine the chest on the floor - if the latches are numbered 1-6 from left to right, open them in this order: 1, 2, 6, 5, 3, 4. Put both sets of clothes inside, and take the fragment of cloth from the right corner. Look at the window to the right of this room. Use the cleaner on the window, then use the cloth on all 4 window panes.

Go back downstairs and through the kitchen to the backyard. Talk to Fred. Enter the shed and get the axe, then go back outside and give it to Fred. Pick up the logs, then head back into the house. Go to the living room and put the logs in the stand next to the fireplace.

Return to the backyard and pick up the lighter from the tree stump. Enter the kitchen and look inside the refrigerator. Use the lighter on the frozen drawer, then open the drawer and take out the meat. Go back outside and give the meat to the fox (next to the shed).

Act 2

Head into the kitchen to talk to Duncan. Search the drawers in the living room to find some compressed air. Examine the radio on the coffee table - slide the pieces around to get the green piece to the far right, then remove the fuse.

Head upstairs and take the hammer from the bathroom. Note the right green arrow on the bath. Go into the kids room and examine the flickering light, then slide the pieces around to get a second fuse. Talk to Luke while you are here. Continue left into the main bedroom and get a third fuse from the flickering light here. Enter the room to the far left and note the bottom yellow arrow on the bed.

Go down to the room under the stairs and examine the projector - play another sliding puzzle to get a fourth fuse. Examine the small fuse box on the wall. Use your compressed air on the latch, then hit it with the hammer. Open the fuse box and insert the 4 fuses. Now you need to join the squares of the same colors:

Go to the kitchen and talk to Duncan again so that he leaves. Now head out to the backyard. Pick up the dial from outside the shed. Enter the shed and note the purple top arrow beneath the bench. Examine the safe beneath the bench and attach your dial. Now turn each of the rings as follows:

  • Turn the yellow dial to the bottom
  • Turn the green dial to the right
  • Keep the silver dial to the left
  • Turn the purple dial to the top

Open the safe and take out the ball. Return outside and use the ball with the fox.

Act 3

Talk to Luke, then enter the shed and pick up the axe. Go back outside and look at the tree stump. You need to make 4 cuts with the axe to end up with 9 pieces of wood (each with one X). Pick up the twigs, then use them on Luke. Talk to Luke Minigame 2 Unlocked!.

After winning a game of Dots and Boxes, you will end up in the woods. Go right several times to see Duncan shoot the fox, then return left twice Chapter 3 Complete!.

Chapter 4

Act 1

Try to open the gate, but it is locked. Examine the toolbox to the left, and open it by pressing the buttons indicated by the arrows:

Take out the screwdriver, then use it on the left power box and remove the cover. Rotate the symbols here to get power to connect from left to right. Use the screwdriver on the right power box and remove the cover. Rotate another set of symbols to get power to connect from left to right. Look at the sign to see that the lights within the letters C, N and A have gone out. Now go through the gate.

Scroll to the right and approach the first game stall Minigame 3 Unlocked!. Win the memory game to get 1000 tokens. Now look at the second game stall. Click on the clown's mouth to drop balls on the C, N and A letters (to match the entrance sign) and you will get another 1000 tokens.

Continue further to the right and use your screwdriver on another power box, then remove the cover. Once more, rotate the symbols to get power to connect from left to right. Look at the lockers now that the line of customers have left, and press the buttons indicated by the arrows:

Grab the hammer then return to the left. Use the hammer on the strength tester then keep clicking in the green zone to earn another 1000 tokens. Use your 3000 tokens to get the camera from the left stall.

Act 2

Look at the photo album, which is currently missing 3 photos. Head left twice and play the Simone game on the ground (repeat the color patterns).Take the red key. Climb up the ladder on the tree. Examine the safe on the left, where you must turn all the arrows upwards. Take the blue key and the matches.

Return right from the shed and use the red key to unlock the red gate. Go forward along the paths in the direction the flames are bending. At the end, take a photo of the pink lily. Also note the number 8 on the stone here.

Go back out, then use the blue key to unlock the blue gate. Pick up the wood from the ground and place it in the holder, then light it with your matches. Watch the flames, then pick up the wood again and go forward along the path in the direction the flames are bending. Repeat this as you continue along the path. At the end, take a photo of the deer. Also note the number 15 on the stone here.

Go back to the left and up the ladder again. Examine the clock and set the time to 8:15. Take the purple key. Take note of the photographs here, in particular the positions of flowers, and the directions the flames are bending.

Head right and use the purple key to unlock the purple gate. Now look at the flowers, and based on the photographs you saw, make your way forward along the paths in the direction the flames should be bending. At the end, take a photo of the red tree.

Return right and put the 3 photos in the album, then pick up the album and give it to Sally.

Act 3

Look at the colored pots to the left and pick up a tile. Next enter the shed. Search the top drawer to get a space and some matches. Look at the tall locked cabinet and solve another series of 4 puzzles (this time with multiple starting points):

Open the cabinet and take out the soil and another tile. Head back outside and go right twice. Pick up the water can. Look at the table and use your spade on the pot plant, then take another tile. Return left twice and look at the tile puzzle on the tree stump. Insert your 3 tiles here, then rotate all the tiles so the 5 nodes around the edge are all connected and there are no loose ends. Now pick up the tile board.

Enter the shed again and put the tile board on the safe so you can open it. Take the seeds from inside, and look carefully at the photograph - the order of colored pots is different from the ones near the back door. Look out the window to see 4 symbols on the 4 trees. Open the locked cupboard here with the same 4 symbols, but rearranged in the order of the pots outside:

  1. Devil
  2. Crescent moon
  3. Target
  4. Trident

Take a candle from inside the cupboard. Go back outside and head right twice. Look at the table again. Use the seeds, soil and water can on the pot. Use the candle on the stand, then light it with the matches.

In the forest, go left twice and examine the generator to solve 3 puzzles where you press buttons indicated by arrows:

Return right and look carefully at the trees behind the lights to see numbers formed by the branches - green 2, red 4, blue 7. Return left twice and examine the color chart on the ground. Go back to the right and examine the fox cage. You need to enter a code based on the combinations of colored lights:

  • Green: 2
  • Pink: 11
  • Cyan: 9
  • White: 13
