Overview and Map

You start the game in a bed and must click on your nest to wake up. On the wall in this room you will start with just a poster, but as you progress through the game, several new items will appear on the wall:

• On the left there is an image for each type of death experienced
• In the middle there is a tally of the total number of cheese pieces eaten
• On the right there is a tally of the total number of deaths

The following is a layout of the entire map. Puzzles are marked in blue, and death traps in red. You start at your nest at square E9, marked in green.

There are many ways through the map, but there is a logical path you can follow as outlined below that will guide you through all puzzles and all deaths before reaching the two different endings. Unfortunately, each time you die, all of the puzzles you have solved will reset.

Walkthrough

First Death

From the start, head up, right, up twice, right twice, up and right to reach I5. Click on the curved wire (1/8).

Second Death

Head right twice and up to G8, where you will see a hint for an upcoming puzzle on the wall. Return down, then go right to H9 to find the heart puzzle. The shortest solution to the puzzle will grant you an achievement, so press these buttons:

• left, left, left, middle Saothraigh

This will open new doorways down and to the right. Continue right and up to I8. Click on the wooden pin (2/8).

Third Death

Go right 3 times to H9 and solve the heart puzzle again. Go down and left to G10 and eat the cheese 40 times. Continue left and down twice to F12. Click on the ball on the bridge (3/8).

Fourth Death

Go right 3 times to H9 and solve the heart puzzle again. Now head down 3 times to H12, where there is a circle puzzle. The goal is to get 2 filled segments in each of the 5 central circles. The buttons at the bottom will slide filled segments in and out of the side circles, with the central button rotating the 5 central circles. From the starting position, make these moves (number the buttons 1-5 from left to right):

• 1, 3, 2, 3, 4
• 3, 1, 3, 3, 3, 2, 5, 3, 2
• 3, 1, 3, 3, 3, 1
• 3, 3, 2, 3, 3, 4, 3, 3, 3, 1, 3, 2, 3, 3, 5
• 3, 3, 1, 3, 3, 4, 3, 3, 3, 1

This will open new doorways down and to the right. Head down twice to H14 and click on the spinning wheel (4/8). Continue up twice and right twice to J12. Click on the fake door (5/8).

Fifth Death

Go right 3 times to H9 and solve the heart puzzle again. Continue right twice to J9 and turn the spigot. Now head left 3 times, up, left and up twice to F6, where water should now be turning the waterwheel puzzle. Keep going up twice, left twice, up and right to E3. Click on the nut and bolt (6/8).

Sixth Death

Go right 3 times to H9 and solve the heart puzzle again. Continue right twice to J9 and turn the spigot. Now head left 3 times, up, left and up twice to F6, where water should now be turning the waterwheel puzzle. Keep going up twice and left 4 times to B4, where there is a diamond puzzle. There are several clues to this puzzle that you may have seen. Press these buttons:

• left, left, middle

This will open new doorways up, down and to the left. Go left to A4 and click on the mirrors (7/8). Head right and down 3 times to B7. Click on the cheese 3 times to die (8/8). By this point you will have interacted with all 8 objects in the maze Balligh.

Cheese, Good Ending

Make sure the cheese tally near your nest shows that you have eaten 40 pieces of cheese. Go right 3 times to H9 and solve the heart puzzle again. Continue right twice to J9 and turn the spigot. Now head left 3 times, up, left and up twice to F6, where water should now be turning the waterwheel puzzle. Head up and left to E5. Interact with the wooden board here and press these buttons to open the path (numbered 1-7 from left to right):

• 1, 3, 7

Now head left, down twice and right twice to E7. Click on the pile of cheese Idigh. Return left twice, up twice and right twice to F5, then continue up twice to F3. Here you will see a map puzzle where you need to correctly indicate where all 6 puzzles are on the map. The pink heart puzzle is already in position. Use the arrows to correctly position the others:

The door to the right will open. Go through to G3 to see a map of the maze, similar to the one provided at the top of this walkthrough. Head left, down and left 4 times to B4, then solve the diamond puzzle again. Return right 4 times, down 4 times, right, down, right and down 3 times to H12. Solve the circles puzzle again. Now head right, down 3 times and right to J15. The door here will be open if you have solved all 6 puzzles. Go through the door then continue right 3 times to the exit Ealu.

Full Map, Bad Ending

To open the final area at the top of the map, you must have died 24 times. The fastest way to die is to go right 3 times to H9 and solve the heart puzzle, then go right and up. Quickly click on the wooden pin multiple times and you will register multiple deaths. Repeat this until the death tally on the wall near your nest reaches 24.

Now you must make your way around the entire map, making sure to visit every available square, without dying. Once you have done this, head up to B3. The door here will be open if you have died 24 times. Make sure you visit every square in the top region and make your way to D3. Go through the door here to see the bad ending Eadochas. You will also get an achievement for visiting every room Taisceal.
