Beyond the Sky is a fantasy 3rd person adventure game. There are 19 Steam Achievements, all outlined in the walkthrough below.

The Forest

After the wolf leaves you in the dark forest, interact with each of the 5 dark areas around you. Talk to the 2 red eyes just to the right Beyond the shadows. Now listen to each of the 5 areas and you will be able to see the whole area clearly. There are now 5 exits that you can take from this central forest clearing.

Head left over the path with flowers, and listen to the old woman Words of wisdom. While you are here, listen to the tree and listen to the river. Try to take the metallic object from the river, but you need something to help catch it. Return to the forest clearing.

Go down to the right to find a vineyard. Listen to the fox, then take the grapes and give them to the fox A kind gesture. Return to the forest clearing again.

Talk to the minstrel, who is now sitting on a rock here. Talk to him about everything, and make sure you listen to all 4 of his stories Thirst for knowledge. Now follow the rocky path down to the left. Try to enter the cave, but an ogre will block your path. Climb up the hill above it to find the Altar of the Moon and read the plaque here. Go back down the hill and return to the forest clearing.

Now go right along the brick path. Listen to the young knight, then talk to him and solve his puzzle:

Finish talking to the young knight Power plays, then pick up the chess piece. Return to the forest clearing.

Take the path down to reach a lake. Listen to Death, then talk to him. Give him the missing chess piece, then agree to help him finish the game The moon in the lake. For learning all of your possible abilities, there is another achievement you will now receive Trust in yourself. Return to the forest clearing.

Go right along the brick path again. Now go through the archway ahead into the labyrinth. Here you must follow the hints from the plaque you read earlier:

  1. Take the path with the red thread on the ground ("followed the footprints of Ariadne").
  2. Select the hole beneath the tree ("under the unrelenting stare of Daphne").
  3. Go through the door beneath the spider painting ("through the works of Arachne").
  4. Take the path next to the pomegranates ("beyond the fruits of death") Like Theseus.

Listen to the colorful bush here and try to take the gold rose, but you need protection from the thorns. Listen to the tree and touch it, then look at it to discover an opening. Inside, talk to the Alchemist, then use the jars on the back wall. Use the information in your alchemy book to assign labels to each of the jars:

Top Row

  • Antiruby
  • Amber feathers
  • Green wine
  • Fragments of memory
  • Love blood

Talk to the alchemist again and he will give you a magic fishng net, magic oar and magic wire cutters, and instructions to collect 3 golden objects. Leave the tree, then use your magic wire cutters on the colorful bush to get the golden rose. Return to the forest clearing, then go left and use your magic fishing net in the river - the golden fish will end up in the nearby tree. Look at the tree to realise it looks sad. Talk to the old woman and ask her to teach you to sing to the plants. Try to sing to the tree, but it doesn't work.
