Twelve Minutes is a top-down interactive thriller that is set in a 12-minute time loop. You play as a man coming home from work to spend the evening with your wife. After a few minutes a cop breaks in and ruins your evening. You must gradually piece together the events so you can eventually change the outcome. There are 12 Steam Achievements, all documented in the walkthrough below.

Listen

Exit the elevator and look at the paintings on the left and right walls. Now go forward and try to open your apartment door, but it is locked. Examine the plant on the left and pick up the fake rock. Examine this in your inventory to find your house keys. Drag these onto your front door and you will go inside.

Do not do anything for the remainder of this loop Listen.

Coward

First Loop

Pick up the mug from the kitchen counter and use it on the sink to fill it with water. After your wife comes out and finishes talking, she will turn the living room light on. Look at the egg painting on the right wall (1/3). Also look at the painting over the couch (1/4).

Enter the bedroom to the left and use the light switch to turn on the bedroom light (you will get a shock). Look at the painting on the bedroom wall (1/3). Use your mug of water on the flower to the right Fluidity.

Go back to the living room and talk to your wife, selecting this option:

Tell her it's a good time for the dessert.

Fill your mug from the sink again, then turn on the radio near the window. Put your mug of water on the right side of the table, then use the right chair to sit down. When your wife sits down, use your plate to start eating. Click on the present once it is offered, then select these options:

Tell her what you think...
It's going to be great.
With pleasure.

Get up and dance with your wife. Now let the rest of the loop play out.

Second Loop

As soon as you enter the apartment, open the closet door, get inside and close the door again before your wife sees you (if she sees you, start the loop again by exiting the apartment.

Wait in the closet until the cop leaves and you hear the elevator. Leave the closet and look at your wife, then leave the apartment.

Third Loop

Pick up both mugs and fill one from the sink. Look at the painting over the couch (2/4), which has changed. After your wife comes out from the bathroom, enter the bathroom and close the door. Turn on the light in here if it is off. Look at the medicine cabinet on the left and take the sleeping pills. Now look down at the ventilation grid. Use your house keys to open the grid, then take the object from inside - a pocket watch. Add the sleeping pills to your mug of water, then open the door and exit the bathroom.

Enter the bedroom to the left and use the light switch to turn on the bedroom light (you will get a shock). Return to the living room and offer the mug with pills to your wife. After she gets up and goes to bed, open the bedroom door again, but leave the lights off. Now open the closet door and head inside. Look at the clothes in here and take the phone from the purse. Close the closet door, then wait in the closet.

Once the cop enters the bedroom and turns on the light, get back out of the closet and enter the bedroom. Examine the unconscious cop and take one set of handcuffs. Back out and use this on the cop, then wait. As soon as the cop awakens, talk to him:

Say you are innocent.
Okay, I'll do as you say.
I know where it is.

When he asks you to leave, go out to the living room and sit on the couch. Once he comes out and talks again, select these options:

Give him your phone.
Tell them your wife committed suicide.

After the cop leaves, enter the bedroom Coward.

Groundhog

First Loop

Pick up both mugs and fill one from the sink. After your wife comes out from the bathroom, enter the bathroom and close the door. Turn on the light in here if it is off. Look at the medicine cabinet on the left and take the sleeping pills. Add the sleeping pills to your mug of water, then open the door and exit the bathroom.

Once the cop enters the bedroom and turns on the light, get back out of the closet and enter the bedroom. Examine the unconscious cop and take everything he is holding. Back out and use a set of handcuffs on the cop. Examine his phone and click on the messages tab, then read the first message, click on the phone number and dial it. As soon as the cop awakens, stab him with the knife. Now select these options:

Ask about the murder charges.
Why would she possibly do something like that?
How was her father murdered?
How do you know it was her?
Why are you still after my wife?
Ask about the tip.
Ask about the watch.
Ask about his relationship with her father.

Leave the conversation, then leave the apartment.

Second Loop

Go over and examine the fridge, then take the Polaroid from the middle of the top door. After your wife comes out from the bathroom, enter the bathroom and close the door. Turn on the light in here if it is off. Look at the medicine cabinet on the left, then look down at the ventilation grid. Use your house keys to open the grid, then take the pocket watch from inside. Now open the door and exit the bathroom.

Show the pocket watch to your wife:

Choose what to prove with.

Go to the bedroom, open the drawer and take out the present. As soon as the long conversation with your wife is over, examine the Polaroid in your inventory, and click on it to realize she is innocent. Now leave the apartment.

Third Loop

Go over and examine the fridge, then take the Polaroid from the middle of the top door. After your wife comes out from the bathroom, show her the Polaroid. Now open the closet door and head inside. Look at the clothes in here and take the phone from the purse. Use the phone to call Bumblebee:

Say her father wants to arrest your wife.
Say your wife is innocent.

Leave the closet and talk to your wife:

Talk about her past...
Ask why she lied about her past.
Who killed your father?
Ask about her father's affair.
Ask how her mother found out about the affair.
Ask about her nanny.
Ask about the nanny's child.
Ask where her brother could be now.
Where did you get the watch?
Why did you try to sell the watch?

You will be interrupted by the cop about now - wait for the scene to end.

Fourth Loop

Say your wife is innocent.

Leave the closet and talk to your wife:

Tell her about the cop.
Explain the cop's connection to her father.
Let's wait for him to arrive.

The cop will come in again, but this time it will play out quite differently.

Fifth Loop

Enter the bedroom to the left and use the light switch to turn on the bedroom light (you will get a shock). Look at the painting on the bedroom wall (2/3), which has also changed. Go back out to the living room. Open the closet door and head inside. Look at the clothes in here and take the phone from the purse. Use the phone to call Bumblebee:

Tell her why her father is really doing this.

Leave the closet and talk to your wife:

Other topics...
Tell her it's a good time for the dessert.

Turn on the radio near the window. Put your mug of water on the right side of the table, then use the right chair to sit down. When your wife sits down, use your plate to start eating. Click on the present once it is offered, then select these options:

Tell her what you think...
It's going to be great.
With pleasure.

Get up and dance with your wife, then talk again:

Tell her how much you love her.

Follow your wife into the bedroom, then click on her again Groundhog.

Confessed

First Loop

After your wife comes out and finishes talking, she will turn the living room light on. Open the closet door and head inside. Look at the clothes in here and take the phone from the purse. Use the phone to call Bumblebee:

Say your wife is innocent.

Leave the closet and talk to your wife:

Talk about her past...
Tell her you know what she is hiding in the vent.

When you can, talk to her again:

Talk about her past...
Find more about the brother being the killer.
Talk about the cop...
Tell her the cop wants the watch to save his daughter.

Now you can also sit down on the couch and wait for the cop to arrive. Don't interrupt the conversation once he gets there.

Second Loop

Say your wife is innocent.

Leave the closet and talk to your wife:

Prove the day is restarting.
Tell her what happened the night she ran away.

When you can, talk to her again:

Talk about the cop...
Let's wait for him to arrive.

When you hear the cop on the phone in the hallway, go to the bedroom. Open the drawer and take out the present. Open the present in your inventory, then return to the living room. As soon as the cop rings the bell, open the door for him. Watch the conversation, but when your wife goes to the bathroom, quickly give the baby clothes to the cop.

Flashback

You can choose any options to speak during this scene or just stay silent.

Third Loop

You don't have any control over events in this very short loop.

Fourth Loop

After your wife comes out and finishes talking, she will turn the living room light on. Look at the egg painting on the right wall (2/3), which has changed. Also look at the painting over the couch (4/4) Seasons.

Enter the bedroom to the left and use the light switch to turn on the bedroom light (you will get a shock). Look at the painting on the bedroom wall (3/3) Faun. Go back out to the living room. Open the closet door and head inside. Look at the clothes in here and take the phone from the purse. Use the phone to call Bumblebee:

Say your wife is innocent.

Leave the closet and talk to your wife:

Talk about her past...
Tell her what really happened.
Tell her you are her brother.
Say it's your fault.
Say you will confess to the cop.

Enter the bathroom and close the door. Turn on the light in here if it is off. Look at the medicine cabinet on the left, then look down at the ventilation grid. Use your house keys to open the grid, then take the pocket watch from inside. Immediately look away from the pocket watch. Now open the door and exit the bathroom.

Pick up the knife from the kitchen bench, then enter the bedroom again. Use the knife on the flower. Now lie down on the bed to wait.

Return out to the living room. As soon as the cop rings the bell, open the door for him. After your wife finishes talking briefly, talk to the cop:

Tell him you killed her father.
Say it's your fault.
Tell him about the watch.

After the cop leaves, exit the apartment Confessed.

Alone

First Loop

Pick up the mug from the kitchen counter and use it on the sink to fill it with water. Enter the bedroom and turn on the light. Use your mug of water on the flower, then look at the flower (1/6).

Return out to the living room, then enter the bathroom and close the door. Turn on the light in here if it is off. Look at the medicine cabinet on the left, then look down at the ventilation grid. Use your house keys to open the grid, then take the pocket watch from inside. Keep looking at the pocket watch.

Flashback

When given the opportunity to talk:

Maybe it's better that we aren't together.

Mindfulness

First Loop

Exit the elevator and walk forward to the door. Use your house keys on the door and you will head inside. Open the bathroom door and enter the bathroom. Look at the ventilation grid on the left. Use your house keys to open the grid, then take the pocket watch from inside. Drag the black hand to 2 minutes before 12, then wait.

Flashback

When given the opportunity to talk:

I want to be with her.
She never needs to know.

Watch the rest of the scene.

Second Loop

Pick up the mug from the kitchen counter and use it on the sink to fill it with water. After your wife comes out and finishes talking, she will turn the living room light on. Look at the egg painting on the right wall (3/3) Ouroboros. Enter the bedroom and turn on the light. Use your mug of water on the flower, then look at the flower (2/6). Go out and leave the apartment.

Third Loop

Pick up the mug from the kitchen counter and use it on the sink to fill it with water. Enter the bedroom and turn on the light. Use your mug of water on the flower, then look at the flower (3/6). Go out to the living room and click on your wife's book. Now open the door and leave the apartment.

Fourth Loop

Pick up the mug from the kitchen counter and use it on the sink to fill it with water. Enter the bedroom and turn on the light. Use your mug of water on the flower, then look at the flower (4/6). Go out to the living room and click on your wife's book. Now open the door and leave the apartment.

Fifth Loop

Pick up the mug from the kitchen counter and use it on the sink to fill it with water. Enter the bedroom and turn on the light. Use your mug of water on the flower, then look at the flower (5/6). Go out to the living room and click on your wife's book. Now open the door and leave the apartment.

Sixth Loop

Pick up the mug from the kitchen counter and use it on the sink to fill it with water. Enter the bedroom and turn on the light. Use your mug of water on the flower, then look at the flower (6/6). Go out to the living room and click on your wife's book. Now open the door and leave the apartment.

Seventh Loop

After your wife comes out from the bathroom, enter the bathroom and close the door. Turn on the light in here if it is off. Look at the medicine cabinet on the left, then look down at the ventilation grid. Use your house keys to open the grid, then take the pocket watch from inside. Keep looking at the pocket watch.

Flashback

When given the opportunity to talk, don't say anything initially. Wait until you are prompted with "Say something", then click on the red book in the shelves behind you. Click on the clock high up on the opposite wall and just watch it Mindfulness.

Continue

There won't be an option to Continue your game at this stage. Drag the black hand to 2 minutes before 12, then select to Continue.

Flashback

When given the opportunity to talk, click on the red book in the shelves behind you. Don't say anything else Continue.
