Enlightenus 2 is a first-person adventure game with hidden object elements. It continues from the previous game in the series, Enlightenus. You play as a journalist sent to investigate the work of a renowned clockmaker, only to discover his most impressive invention, the Ageless Clock, needs to be fixed. You must travel through time on a quest to repair the clock.

Tower Grounds

Walk towards the entrance and put the emerald on the right deer's neck. Pick up the emblem and the E cards, then put the emblem on the gate and head inside.

Floor One

Pick up the sledgehammer, then look at the portrait on the far wall. Back out then go left to the workshop. Take the owl wings from the far wall and place them on the owl statue, then click on the clock piece on the left.

Mayan Jungle, 300 BC

  • E cards: Middle of left tree, head statue's mouth

View your ageless clock and put the Durable Vault clock piece in the bottom slot. Return to the tower, and take the book from the top of the left cabinet. Look at the bookcase and insert the book in the empty space. Click on the secret door and solve the sketch puzzle (tree, cloud, rain, lightning) then go through the door. Pick up the gold pendulum from the right, then use your sledgehammer on the yellow crystal on the left. Click on the clock piece that is revealed.

View your ageless clock and put the Rusty Gate clock piece in the left slot. Walk back twice into a corridor and put your gold pendulum in the grandfather clock, then click on the clock piece.

Medieval Castle, 450 AD

View your ageless clock and put the Marble Ornate clock piece in the right slot. Take the enlightenus key and go left then right, and use the key in the lock. Enter the portal.

Read the letter on the desk and take the E card from on the letter. Head upstairs and look at the portrait of Clarence and its caption. Take the key from next to the portrait, then use this to open the door at the top of the stairs. Head through the door.

Floor Two

Look at the horse emblem on the door and the broken light above the tunnel, then proceed down the tunnel. Click on the clock piece.

Ancient Egypt, 1000 BC

Look at the castle door and solve the sketch puzzle (trumpet, shield, door, bow, sword). Take the paper crane from the mail slot in the door, and the toy dragon from on top of the castle. Continue forward through the door and take the red lens from the tree, then click on the clock piece.

Walk back twice and use your key on the dollhouse, then head inside and click on the clock piece above the stage.

Now click on the door at the back of the stage. Match the body parts with their clothing according to the picture on the left. Now arrange the items in the correct order using the clues on the right. Press the red button, then go through the door.

Put the paper horse in the engraving, then take the weather vane from inside the case. Go back twice and put the weather vane on the roof of the dollhouse, then click on the new clock piece.

View your ageless clock. Arrange the pieces as nocturnal (mouse, owl, raccoon), vegetarian (cow, rabbit, goat) or big (moose, bear, alligator). Use the wooden horse on the locked door here, then go through. Read the letter on the desk and take the E card. Look at the portrait then go upstairs. Look at the next portrait and caption, and take the key. Use this to open the door and head through.

Floor 3

Look at the portrait on the right to see the necklace is missing. Click on the clock piece.

Arabian Palace, 1100 AD

Click on the fish symbol on the door and you will see a puzzle. Click on the round windows in the top corners to reveal a cog and a puzzle piece. Move the 4 cogs into their correct positions (the roman numerals indicate the number of spokes). Now turn the wheel to reveal the other puzzle pieces. Swap their positions to complete a picture. Once done, head through the door.

Pick up the rose emblem, then click on the clock piece on the teddy bear.

Forbidden City, 1650 AD

Floor 4

Take the canned cat food from the glass counter and give it to the cat, then take the key it was guarding and use this on the door on the right. Click on the clock on the wall near the door.

Look at the portrait then go upstairs. Look at the next portrait and caption, and take the key. Use this to open the door and head through.
