Chapter 1: Another Day

Kosmos

Search your mailbox to get your new ID. Talk to Joe, then exit to the right. Show your ID to Pige and you will end up with a package and a note. Examine the dumpster to get a bent pipe. Enter the alley and use your ID on the door, then head through the door and pick up the coin. Go back towards your house and head down the stairs. Knock on the door to Apartment 121, then continue further down the stairs. Take the boulder from the base of the statue, then head right and talk to Arc. Use your bent pipe on the contraption. Return up to Apartment 121 and use your boulder on pipe 2. Head back downstairs and use the statue to get the package again. Head upstairs and knock on the door to Apartment 121 once more to get 9 more coins. Go down to Arc and give him the coins; you will enter the arcade.

Show your note to Sophie. Take the ID from the counter. Talk to the vendor and when he leaves unplug the nearby games machine. Talk to the vendor again and plug the machine back in, then take a coin from the cup of coins on the ground. Use the coin on Colemin's Last Stand, and win the game (pick up the package on the left and use it on the artillery gun to the top right). Use your tickets on the vendor to get 2 red balloons. Go back up to your house and use both of the balloons on the steam pipes. Give Joe's ID to him and he will give you a sewer key.

Go down to the arcade entrance and use the sewer key on the grate. Use both of your balloons on the lever to the left of the grate. Enter the sewers to meet D. After the cutscene, head left and hide behind the plant near the bottom of the screen. After the EBot leaves, head upstairs to your house and continue right. Pick up the rope and hook, and use this on the stork statue. In the storm, head to the far right.

Chapter 2: The Awakening

The Vivit Oak

Agree to take the rushlight. After the conversation, take the rushlight again and use it on yourself. Read the field book on the left and you will get a life potion recipe. Search the trunk to get a jar of water and an empty jar. Pick up some rocks and some blue leaves from the right, then use the boat to leave. Paddle left and pull the yellow daylily flowers to meet Glyde. Paddle right and try to leave, but Gunther will stop you. Head back inside and talk to Symmetry again to receive a flute. Use the boat to leave once more and try to paddle right, then use the flute on Gunther before leaving.

In your inventory, put the blue leaves in your empty jar, then use this on the flies to catch them. Walk back down to the sand and use your stones on the horn; hit the horn twice to knock it into the water, then use the horn and you will attach it to your boat. Try to get into your boat, then use your rushlight on the lurid after it attacks you. Now get in the boat and return to the left. Pull the daylily flowers again and use your jar of flies on Glyde to end up with a jar of saliva. Next use your rocks on the red bird up to the right, and hit it twice so it ends up on the post near the house. Go towards the right exit and throw a rock at Gunther; you will end up with some red Dahlia feathers. Try to go right again and talk to Gunther. Head left and use the daylily flowers, then talk to Glyde. Try to leave to the right again and talk to Gunther until he eventually tells you his favorite color. Go back and use the daylily flowers, then talk to Glyde and you will get some daylilies.

Go back into the house. Use your red feathers, daylilies, blue leaves, saliva and water on the pot over the fire. Pull the lever and you will end up with the life potion. Head to the left and use the life potion on the lilypad. You will automatically get the discernment fruit.

Chapter 3: The Rogations

Rogations Base

Open the hatch, then use your rushlight on the lower right mountain, lower left mountain, upper middle mountain, door, and upper right mountain. Now head inside through the open door.

Read the notebook, then use the tools and you will take a screwdriver. Talk to Titus, then exit through the doorway, and through the door to the far top of the cavern. Talk to the kids so they hide, then go through the doorway at the top of the stairs. Take the rope, then climb down the ladder. Go through the door behind the ladder and talk to Airo. Use your screwdriver on the vent and then take the magnet. Move the crate to the side, then use your screwdriver on the other vent to find the first hiding child. Leave this room and then go through the next door to the left.

Talk to Kiah and you will receive some dog tags. Take the antenna, then exit the cave at the bottom of the screen and you will meet Tengler. Open the hatch to let Gobo out, then go up the stairs on the right. Combine your magnet and rope, then use this on Gobo. Return inside, then go through the left door and then the top door. Talk to Sophie to get some flowers, Igloo to get a blue cup, a letter from Ulga and a necklace from Elzy. Talk to Jacob, but he just walks away. Leave this room and head down and through a cave entrance to the right. Talk to Titus to receive a photo, then give him Gobo and the antenna. Leave this area and go back to the doorway behind the ladder.

Give the dog tags, photo, flowers, cup, letter and necklace to Airo. You will then take the fuel rod and throw rug. Go back out and through the other door on the left. Walk to the back of this platform and wait until the other child appears from behind the back pillar. You will then automatically go back to Titus and the kids will provide the tire. Give Titus the fuel rod, then use the MOLE to travel.

The Vivit Oak

Pick up the jar and use it on the hot spring, then use the MOLE.

Prison

Use your jar of hot water on the hatch, then look at it and you will write down the hatch number. Use the MOLE again.

Rogations Base

Go to the main cave, then through the bottom left door. Use the computer and you will end up with a hatch lock passcode. Go back to the MOLE and travel once more.

Prison

Open the hatch and climb inside. Climb up the ladder half way along the tunnel, then use your screwdriver on the grate when an EBot is not standing on it. Climb back up the right ladder and use your rope and magnet on the wall. Use your throw rug on the walking EBot. When the other one is facing away, jump to the left, pick up the rifle and shoot the electric box on the side of the building. Shoot the larger electric box 3 times, then use the door to get inside.

Chapter 4: Reaching Esther

Kosmos

Use your rushlight on the blast pad. Use your rushlight on Pige, then go to the left. When you return to the right, Pige will give you your ID. Enter the alley and use your ID on the door, then head through. Don't give Glym your rushlight. Use the pipes when you can, then head down the stairs and try to go right. Use the dead EBot that is impaled on the statue, then put on its head. After Glym leaves, go right and you will end up in the sewers. Jump into the water.

Slip Town

Pick up the small pipe and use it on the big pipe on the wall, then quickly turn the valve to meet Rufus. Use the key he gives you on the gate. Talk to Joe, then use your rushlight on him. Look at the small sign on the side of the building, then use the door to head back down to the sewers. Jump into the water, then select to go left, left, right, straight and left. You will automatically flip the breaker switch and head back. Go through the gate again, then use the gondola switch and climb into the gondola.

Read the poster, then enter the middle house (straight past the post). Talk to everyone inside, then pick up the purple pigment. Go back outside, then enter the house to the left, and you will end up on the upper walkway. Enter the house to the right, which turns out to be the cheese shop. Take the jar, then go outside and talk to the kid. Leave the town and use the door to return to the sewers. Jump into the water, then select to go right 4 times. Pick up the toy boat, then go any direction to head back. Go through the gate again, then climb into the gondola.

Use the left house to get up to the top walkway, then trade the toy boat for the kid's fishing rod. Leave town again and use the MOLE to travel.

The Vivit Oak

Talk to Gunther, then use your fishing rod on him. Inside him, click on the light, then the satellite and the chair. Click on the mug twice, then on the key. Next click on the rug behind the ladder, then on the door, on the poster behind the door, and then on the fork of Babel. Use your empty jar on the Vivit water surrounding Gunther. Now use the MOLE to travel.

Slip Town

Use the gondola, then enter the middle house. Use your jar of Vivit water on Loomis. Use your new red pigment on the candle, then leave town. Use your pipe on the Chagrin and you will get his robe. Use the MOLE again.

Rogations Base

After seeing Tengler again, use the hatch to get Gobo. Wait here and 2 Chagrin will arrive and you will witness a ritual dance. Use the MOLE to travel.

Slip Town

Use the door to go down to the sewers, then jump into the water. Use the purple pigment on the Chagrin when they aren't looking, then follow the purple water until you automatically climb up a ladder.

Chagrin Tower

Talk to the Chagrin, then use the ritual dance moves on him. Go along the path and use Gobo on the Chagrin next to the fire, then use your red pigment on the fire.

Slip Town

You will automatically end up in town and receive lots of cheese. Leave town and use the door to return to the sewers. Give your cheese to Rufus, and you will end up travelling through the sewers again.

Glym's Factory

Use your fishing rod on the grate and click on the chair, then exit. Use your fishing rod on each of the vents (left, middle and then right), each time clicking on the chair. After the EBot arrives, click on the key on its belt. Use the key on the grate, then use your rushlight on Esther. Quickly use the chair, then enter the 3rd drop pod. Look at the manual on the left wall to get instructions on how to launch the pod. When you first enter, the dial at the top left will be set to I.

  1. Use the pump to increase the pressure to 50%, then pull the big switch at the top right (the dial will change to II).
  2. Set the small switches to green, green, green, red, green, red, then press the red button (the dial will change to III).
  3. Set the small switches to red, green, green, green, green, red, then press the red button.
  4. Set the small switches to red, red, green, green, red, red, then press the red button.
  5. Set the small switches to red, green, green, red, green, red, then pull the big switch at the top right (the dial will change to IV).
  6. Set all small switches to green, increase the pressure to 100%, and pull the big switch at the top right.

After landing, click on the drop pod, then open all 3 latches at the bottom left and use the rushlight on yourself.

Chapter 5: Off to War

Slip Town

Talk to Jacob, then use your rushlight on him; you will get a security card and a decoder. Leave town and you will automatically see the map screen.

Colemin's Garrison

Use Jacob's security card on the panel on the side of the statue; choose to aim the gun down. Now go in the nearby doorway and choose to exit to the left. Examine the skeleton to get some bones and a power cell. Enter the nearby doorway and choose to exit to the right. Use Jacob's security card on the panel again and choose to aim the gun left. Now combine your power cell and decoder, then use the decoder on the entrance. Quickly enter the right doorway while the gun is aiming away. Now throw bones at each of the small robots as they advance, and they will be destroyed. Exit to the right. Use Jacob's security card on the panel and aim the gun left. Head through the entrance.

Avoid the artillery and gunfire in this area, searching the crate to get a key. Go back to the gate, then head to the supplies in the back.

Kosmos

Use the C4 on the wall. Now you have to shoot a whole series of EBots as they come out to kill Dashu; just keep trying and you will learn the sequence. There is a section on the 2nd floor where you can shoot a balcony just above and to the right to stop a long series of EBots from continually appearing. After the sniper sequence is done, use your C4 on the final C4 target. Choose not to shoot Dashu, then while you are falling quickly grab the potion (you need to click on it several times). In the dark cave, walk around until the rushlight appears, then use it on yourself.

Chapter 6: Repentance

Mount Hesed

Pick up the fallen urn, then head outside.

Ice Forest

Look at the book, then use your rushlight on it 4 times, then take the unfeigned sword. Leave by going to the right.

Abandoned Mine

Push the mine cart, then break the sign and pick it up. Use the sign on the mine cart, then use the sign again to turn it. Use the urn on the mine cart, then leave.

Great Pass

Try to walk forward along the pass, and you will be stopped by a giant foot. Head right and into a cave. Talk to Tengler, then use your rushlight on her twice, before following her left. Use the rushlight on her twice more.

Mount Hesed

Use the unfeigned sword on Dunamis, then head outside.

Great Pass

Go right and into the cave again. Take some bones from the skeleton, then look at the carvings on the right wall. Leave via the top exit, then look out at Kosmos. Use your rushlight on Og, then use your bones on the winged contraption to knock it down. Og will then flick you away and if you have prepared everything correctly, you will end up opening the abandoned mine. Leave again and return to the great pass, then pick up the wings before returning to the map.

Ice Plains

Walk around the blue plant in a clockwise direction 3 times, and you will meet Names. Accept the challenge, then pick up the bag-o-items. Now you need to keep following Names and using the appropriate items to match him. Then carefully read what he says and go in the direction indicated by the word in asterisks.

Once you've used the correct item 4 times, you can take the unfeigned helmet. Head down to leave this area.

Abandoned Mine

Head into the mine. Use your rushlight on one of the poles, then climb down the ladder. Try to take the pot, then give your wings to Gwen to get them fixed. Use your bones on the target, then while Gwen is distracted take some soup from the pot. Climb back up the ladder and leave the mine.

Great Pass

Go right and into the cave again. Take the exit on the left, then wait until the pouch is in front of the opening and quickly use your fixed wings on it. Inside the pouch, you will receive some poison. Search the coins to get the unfeigned boots. Pull the stitch, then jump out the bottom of the pouch. Enter the cave again and go through the main exit at the top. Combine the soup and poison in your inventory, and you will learn a magic phrase. Back inside, take the exit on the left and use your wings to get into the pouch once more. Use your magic phrase on Harold; you will end up getting the unfeigned shield. Head back to the map.

Mount Hesed

Use the unfeigned shield, boots and helmet on Dunamis.

Chapter 7: The Final Chapter

Great Pass

When Og is in the middle of the screen, attack to kill him.

Kosmos

Use Titus on himself twice, then get Jacob to pick up the fallen can. Throw the can to Dashu, then use it on the small green button. Get Elzy to pass the can to Jacob, then use it on the button on the left wall. Get Elzy to pass the can to Dashu, then use it on the small orange button. Look at the rushlight in your inventory, then use the unfeigned sword on the wire. After the cutscene, you can now play as both Alum and Dashu.

Look at the map on the left. Switch to Dashu and use your rifle on the camera, then pick up the camera lens from the ground. Have each character step on one of the floor plates and the door will open; now get both to head through the door and upstairs. Get Alum to use the unfeigned shield on the gun turret, then switch to Dashu and head through the door on the left. Use the panel twice to see the wires inside, then use the red wire on the green wire. Back out from the panel and use your rifle on the camera here. Pick up the Ebot top and another camera lens, then in your inventory use both lenses on the Ebot top. Have Dashu leave the room and then go back downstairs. Use the Ebot top on the TV, then head back upstairs and left and use the panel. Use the green wire on the blue wire, then switch to Alum. Go back left and downstairs and use the TV - a drop pod will be launched. Switch to Dashu and have him use the panel, then use the green wire on the purple wire. Switch back to Alum and use the TV once more. Now switch to Dashu and use the computer.

As Ebot 2, go right and use the drop pod. Inside flip the big switch at the top right 6 times, then press the red button. Take the hidden note, and a security code will be added to your inventory. Switch to Alum, then to Dashu. Use the panel, and use the green wire on the orange wire. Switch back to Alum and use the TV again. Switch to Dashu and use the computer.

As Ebot 3, walk to the right of the chair, then use it and Mr Glym will sit down. Switch back to Alum and go through 3 doors to the right, until you reach a trap floor. Step on the tiles in the color order as indicated by the wires in the panel:

Now you can use the laser device to disable the trap floor. Use your security code on the security mainframe. Now head left until you meet up with Dashu again. Get both characters upstairs and have each character step on one of the floor plates. After you automatically go through the first door, continue to the right until you reach Glym's door. Head through to reach the final battle. You need to block and attack until Glym is close to the window; quickly click on Esther and while Glym is distracted by the moving chair, use your block to get rid of him. After the long cutscene, use the rushlight on Esther.
